"We chose this hotel for its location – it’s right across the road from the seaport and only 7 minutes from the airport. Perfect for a layover or an early flight, that’s a huge plus.
The hotel itself is new (or recently renovated), you can tell by the paintwork and furniture. The bedding is good, the room isn't tiny, and the shower is relatively spacious. The air conditioning blows powerfully. Nearby, in the building next door, there's a Watsons (cosmetics, all sorts of useful bits and bobs) and a 7/11 across the street – handy if you've forgotten something and need it urgently.
On the downside, there's the food. There are absolutely no cafes nearby. It's either a local greasy spoon with trans fats (like a local KFC) or hot dogs from 7/11. You couldn't stay here for a week, but for an overnight stay – it's fine.
There's no kettle in the room. You'd think it's no big deal since there's a water cooler on the floor. BUT! The hot water in the cooler on our floor wasn't working, so we had to go down the stairs to the next floor for boiling water. A minor inconvenience, but annoying.
The next downside is the water in the shower. In the evening, there's simply none. Neither cold nor hot – just a drip, as if someone decided to save money. Want to wash up after your journey? Wait until 5 AM. That's when the water pressure wakes up with the roosters. (No kidding, that's what we did!)
And then there's the elevator – that's a whole other story. Folks, it's a nightmare. The elevator constantly gets stuck and breaks down. We had to lug our huge suitcases up and down the stairs from the fourth floor – that was annoying enough. But in the morning, when we needed to leave urgently for the airport, we got stuck in the elevator with our suitcases. Just like a bad movie! I have a panic fear of getting stuck, and here we were, pressed for time, and thoughts of 'what if it's for a long time?' started creeping in. Anyway, thanks for fixing it, but it left a significant bad taste.
Verdict: This hotel is a one-time stay – if you need to be close to the port and the airport. But only if you're lucky with the water and the elevator doesn't decide to give you an extreme experience. Management, the elevator is no laughing matter, it's a safety issue, please take action!!"

"Aqua Boracay really has a luxurious feel - it’s aesthetic design and white-themed buildings really looks elegant and cool at the same time!
It is located in Bulabog and has a direct access to the Bulabog beach area. It is more peaceful in this beach than the main white beach. It is not too far also from white beach, they have free shuttle every hour going to Dmall.
The hotel room we booked (junior suite) is very spacious, clean and has a relaxing feel. It comes with a very spacious living room and dining area. The bed is huge and very comfortable. The comfort room comes with a bath tub which looks luxurious.
The hotel staffs are very professional, friendly and accommodating! Breakfast is buffet style. The food is delicous and it comes with a wide variety of dishes.
There are two pools in the hotel, both of which are very nice.
We really enjoyed out stay! Will surely recommend this to our friends."

"Had a wonderful 1-night stay at La Carmela de Boracay! Even though it was a short trip, I got some amazing rest. I slept for three hours right after checking in and another solid eight hours at night because the bed was so comfortable.The room was very clean, and all the amenities—the air conditioner, TV, and refrigerator—were working perfectly. I also loved that the room had its own private terrace and even included a Bible. While I didn't get a chance to try the pool, the hotel’s location is excellent since it is just a short walk to the beach. Highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing stay! "Fascinating!! One of the best resorts we have ever been to, away from all the city noises and in the beautiful Filipino nature. Top class amenities and wonderful service. Staff are super nice and friendly and won’t hesitate to help you and the owner Andrew is very accommodating and nice. Alot of fun activities to do here our personal favorites are Kayaking and Snorkeling in the private beach. Oh yeah did I forget to mention you have access to a Private beach ? In addition to that a nice swimming pool in the heart of the resort in front of the restaurant. Food was also delicious with a good selection of both local and international cuisine at affordable prices. Beef tapa was my personal favorite, I would definitely recommend it. Also around the corner from the resort you have access to a white sand beach and more places to eat and explore. Easy 10/10 for us. We will be back soon for sure !"

"Hello! We booked the presidential suite, but had to switch to an upgraded room. The furniture was old, there was no hairdryer, and no amenities whatsoever. On the plus side, the sea view was nice. As for breakfast, nothing interesting, and the same stuff every day. The service, however, was excellent."

"The hotel is in a good localization because just few meters from Dmall, place with supermarket, restaurant, massage and stores. Also from a good part of the beach.
The staffs are gentle, always smiling. But they could be more pro active saying that the transfer to go back to airport MUST to be request one day before that you are leaving the hotel, even when your fly is at night. They asked to us to find a way back to airport by yourselves.
Sometimes the staff forgot to replace face towel the good part they didn't in the last day of check out, because probably the hotel should ask as to pay for it."

"Hotel room doesn't have its own bathroom. Location wise it is very near the center of kalibo. Staffs are friendly. Room was clean enough. A bit of letdown was the absence of a private bathroom had to use a common one outside down the hallway."

"I recently stayed at Grand Boracay Resort, and its biggest advantage is easily the location. It is probably one of the best locations on the entire island.
Being right in D'Mall means you can walk almost everywhere and rarely need to pay for public transportation or e-trikes.
The Deluxe Rooms are just okay, 6/10 in my opinion. They are spacious enough for 2 to 4 people, which is great for families or small groups. However, the mini fridge was empty, and if you want drinks or snacks, you need to purchase them at the reception near the entrance.
The 2 beds for two people was just about adequate but definitely on the smaller side. It was manageable for a short stay (5-7 days), but couples who prefer more sleeping space may find it a bit cramped.
The curtains provide good privacy, so nobody can see inside the room, but they do not block much sunlight. Also, since many rooms face walkways, you will hear people passing by outside, and the noise can be a bit distracting throughout the day.
Cleanliness was acceptable, around 6.5 to 7 out of 10. The property feels quite old-fashioned and could use some modernization, but that is also reflected in the reasonable room rates considering the prime location.
Overall, if you are looking for an affordable place in the heart of Boracay and mainly need a room to sleep, shower, and change before heading back out, Grand Boracay Resort is a solid choice. If you are expecting a modern, comfortable, resort-style experience with luxurious amenities and Instagram-worthy rooms, this is probably not the right hotel for you."

GGuest UserWe went here with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary in advance, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by how peaceful and relaxing the place was. Ang ganda talaga ng ambiance, very cozy, intimate, and perfect for couples who just want to unwind and spend quality time together. Every corner of the place was well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, giving off a warm and homey vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. You can really tell they value their guests and want to make sure everyone has a great experience. The place was also very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and everything we needed was there. And the food, we didn’t expect their food to be that good especially their pizza and they also offer a lot of different cuisine that we tried but I can’t remember what it’s called but it is a Greek dish and it was so good. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay, from the peaceful atmosphere to the breathtaking views, delicious food, and the warm hospitality. It’s definitely a place we’ll come back to again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a chill, romantic, and memorable getaway!

Interesting arrival via private boats, down a service alley after a welcome drum beach welcome.
Friendly staff but they don't remember you, you'll eventually want to never have to say your villa or room number ever again and have the number forever ingrained in your mind.
Service was a sensation of everything being disctintly OK, nothing at all poor or bad just nothing good or exceptional. The feel of a Wetherspoons crossed with a boom box discotheque.
Both rooms and villas are very cozy, if you like space or a spacious feel this isn't for you, if you want affordability and beach vibes you've found your home. Details lacking such as stained sofas and receiving another guests laundry in our laundry service.
Overall it's a good hotel, but not what you consider a true 5 star and will leave you feeling underwhelmed.

Pros:
1. It's exactly 400 steps or a 5-minute leisurely walk to the beach.
2. Excellent and delicious continental breakfasts.
3. Free daily massage.
4. Welcome drink upon check-in.
5. A clean, cozy hotel where it's always quiet and peaceful. An ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a good night's sleep.
6. A 15-minute walk to the best beach on this island – Puka Beach.
7. Only a hostel would be cheaper. This was the most affordable booking option available.
Cons:
1. The shuttle to the center runs infrequently (only in the morning or evening).
2. Remote location from shops and cafes.
3. Few tourists in the immediate vicinity. It feels a bit like being in a local ghetto.
I'm only deducting a point for the infrequent shuttle service to and from the center.

나나리나It’s one of the best hotels I’ve experienced. Food good. Room cleaning service good, pool good but best thing is shuttle service to and from 2 main beaches as Puka beach and to D’mall. About 6-7 times a day, it fit all our schedules. They may drop a pick any place on the way to D’ mall. Concierge guys were always super friendly, reception as well provided good service. Thanks for great time❤️

The hotel bed was so comfortable and it's worth all the money. Water pressure was good. AC was also good.
It was even hard for us to come out of the bed because it was that comfy. It really cured our stress and it really felt a vacation like we could nap multiple times a day. Lol.
Really also enjoyed the pool bar with the floating bed. The drinks were reasonable as well. Staff was very friendly and nice.
Really enjoyed our stay and we will come back. Only downside was, it wasn't beachfront. You had to walk 7mins from the hotel to the beach. Wasn't really a big teal because we enjoyed the pool and overyexperience of the hotel.

Our stay felt like a true vacation. We were able to relax so much that we ended up taking multiple naps during the day. Lol! It really helped us unwind and forget about stress.
We also really enjoyed the pool bar, especially the floating beds. The drinks were reasonably priced, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back. The only downside was that the hotel isn’t beachfront. You need to walk about 7 minutes to reach the beach. However, it wasn’t really a big deal for us since we enjoyed the pool and the overall hotel experience.

GGuest UserThis stay completely exceeded my expectations and was the most satisfying hotel experience on my recent trip. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. It's very tourist-friendly, making getting around a breeze.
The moment I stepped into the room, I was impressed. It was spacious and bright, with a minimalist and clean design. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were just the right height, allowing me to fall asleep quickly and enjoy excellent sleep quality. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, well-stocked toiletries, and a consistent hot water supply – the attention to detail was spot on. The room had abundant natural light, a great view, and was overall clean, tidy, and odor-free, which made for a very reassuring stay.
The front desk service was warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were fast, and the staff were friendly and patient in answering any questions I had, making me feel very welcome. The hotel's public areas were clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet and peaceful, suitable for both relaxation and work.
It offers incredible value for money. The facilities, service, and location are all impeccable and well worth the price. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and wholeheartedly recommend it to friends and family. It's a trustworthy and comfortable hotel!

It was a memorable time for the family especially to our daughter who celebrated her birthday there. They made my daughter's birthday extra special with their complimentary cake and greetings set up in our room. It was a good surprise for her. MmariascapesWe stayed in Boracay for 8 days, and Paradise Garden Resort was the third hotel we checked into during the trip. Surprisingly, among all the hotels we stayed at, Paradise Garden was one of the more affordable ones yet it ended up giving us one of the best overall experiences.
We’re currently staying at Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay, which has a higher rate and supposedly more premium services, but honestly, Paradise Garden stood out so much more because of how consistent and exceptional their service was.
From the moment we arrived, the experience already felt smooth and welcoming. The lobby had plenty of seating for guests checking in and out, which was a huge relief especially after being out in the heat. Check-in was hassle-free, and we were even allowed to check in earlier than the standard 2 PM time. Someone also personally assisted us to our room which makes sense because the property itself is huge.
At first, I thought we wouldn’t even use the pools because, well, you’re already in Boracay. But surprisingly, we still enjoyed them a lot. The pools were clean, well-maintained, and not a hassle to use at all. The resort itself definitely shows its age, and you can tell it has been operating for a long time, but despite that, the service remained exceptional.
The staff were consistently courteous and accommodating. I also loved that they had a beachfront area exclusively for Paradise Garden guests. We were able to borrow beach towels for free, and the seating area in front was actually really nice. There were also thoughtful extras like live band performances, massage services by the beach, and even a pool area with a functioning open bar not just something “for display,” but something guests could genuinely enjoy.
The room itself was very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I’m very particular about beds and sheets when staying at hotels, and I honestly slept so well there. Our experience was so good that I genuinely wished we had stayed there for three days instead of just one night.
Even checking out was seamless. No issues, no stress
just consistently good service from start to finish. That’s probably the best way I can describe Paradise Garden: consistent.
Out of the four hotels we stayed at during this Boracay trip, Paradise Garden is honestly the one I would choose to return to. For me, it’s such an underrated hidden gem in Boracay.

TTimmy Rose FelipeDefinitely enjoyed our wrist stay here this is not our first time in Boracay if I'm not mistaking this is our fifth time already and our second time to be staying at Newcoast area.
I love the fact that Savoy is part of the hotel chain where simplicity and affordability is maintained. Savoy Boracay surprisingly big and offers amenities tha other hotels in Boracay do not have.
The hotel has gym,spa, big pool, beach accesibility and shuttle for the D' Mall.
Appreciate the most the extra effort they prepare for our celebration, from the tv greetongs to the letters/cards,balloons and cakes they prepare for our kids birthday and our anniversary.
This is a great place to enjoy a quiet and relaxing Boracay vacation without mizssing the paradise itself.

LLily_jones13Hotel is right next to the airport, we could walk to departures in about 10 minutes. There’s a restaurant outside the hotel with a beach view. There was a power outage that prevented us from using the AC during the day but worked well at night. The water pressure in the bathroom is poor, overall clean and was a convienient stay.
