"This hotel is located in S1. I took a tuk-tuk from near S2 to the hotel, which took less than 20 minutes. Locals might pay 20-30 pesos, but the driver charged me 50 pesos, perhaps because I had a suitcase or I'm a foreigner. For first-time visitors to Boracay, this hotel isn't in the bustling commercial area, but for those on a vacation, its location is excellent. First, the hotel is situated within a large shopping complex. On B1, there's a Robinsons Supermarket where you can buy plenty of food, drinks, and daily necessities. There's also a visa extension office; I saw some online comments about people extending their stay there. The complex also has several restaurants that are much more affordable than those near D'Mall. Second, taking a shortcut behind the hotel, you can reach S1 beach in 5-10 minutes on foot. It's close to Diniwid Beach, and you can walk to a popular photo spot and Willy's Rock. You can also find activities like sunset sailing on the beach. The water here is more expansive than S2, and the sand is finer. The hotel provides two bath towels daily, which you can take out using a card. Since I didn't stay on the beach for long, I didn't use this amenity. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to different beaches, but you need to book in advance, so I didn't use that either. The hotel has a large swimming pool, perfect for a vacation. Each floor has purified water, and rooms have large reusable bottles for refilling. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a balcony where I could hang swimwear to dry. My room faced the street, so it wasn't as quiet as it could be, but I'm a good sleeper, so it didn't bother me. Check-in took a bit longer, as there were many documents to sign and a deposit was required, which could be paid by credit card."

"This is a wonderful hotel, exactly as described, and the photos are completely accurate. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay throughout your vacation. Any issues that arose were resolved in minutes. You can tell they truly value their reputation. Just a heads-up: payment at the hotel is cash-only. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, beyond words. It's right in the heart of all the entertainment and leisure spots, and only a 5-minute walk to the sea. I do want to mention one significant drawback: there was a lot of noise from equipment operating near our room, which was quite unpleasant. You do get used to it over time and eventually tune it out, but it might be an important consideration for some. In the last few days of our stay, the hot water started to disappear, becoming only lukewarm, and this issue couldn't be resolved. Also, the Wi-Fi suddenly stopped working completely on our last night (Friday to Saturday) without any explanation, so we had to use mobile internet until check-out. For us, the breakfasts were a notable downside – the selection of dishes was extremely limited. Coffee was only served from a pot (likely instant), and coffee from the machine was an extra charge. However, after I brought this up, the issue with the coffee machine was resolved. For the next six breakfasts, they made complimentary machine coffee for my partner and me. Special thanks to the entire hotel team and for the lovely daily notes in our room that brightened our mood and made our vacation even more enjoyable!"

"Everything was great. We had a family suite with 2 rooms, 2 showers, a kitchen-living room with a table, and a veranda where you could sit. Since there were two showers in the room, we never had any issues with waiting turns))). The location is excellent, you can walk to D'Mall. Yes, it might not be beachfront, but considering that stations 2-3 were often crowded, we always ended up leaving anyway. Breakfasts were decent; you could always find something to eat. No pastries, but they had watermelon, papaya, and bananas for fruit."

"This resort is absolutely beautiful! The private beach and the various swimming pool areas are lovely to recharge at. The gym is well equipped and the breakfast buffet is well worth going for. It is also situated not too far away from the main Boracay centre, just a 10 min tuk tuk journey. All the staff were incredibly helpful and respectful towards us during our 2 week stay. The room was spacious and well functioning with a large smart TV and a nicely designed bathroom. I would definitely recommend coming here!"

"Staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. They're willing to show you cool spots to go to that past guests have enjoyed. The regular shuttle from the hotel to the downtown area and back is an absolute bonus saving you so much money instead of taking the e-trikes, although those are quite fun as well! The pool is well kept and a beautiful addition to anyone's stay there. Would go again."

"Me and my partner had an amazing stay with Mandarin Island Hotel. Everything stood out. Shortly after arriving at the property, we were greeted by warm and lovely employees. Welcomed like a family. They’re very attentive to evrything that you need. Complimentary Asian and Western breakfast buffet was the best. Also, the property is located to almost everything. From local restaurants, bars and especially it’s a beach front hotel. Would love to stay here again in the future."

"The hotel is quite worn out and, especially during holidays, not worth the money. Our room was in building B; it was spacious and quiet, making for a comfortable sleep. However, the windows faced an alley between buildings, so very little daylight entered. The air conditioning worked well but was very noisy. The internet worked fine in the lobby and on the beach, but it was very weak in the room. There are a few sun loungers and cushions on the beach, but you need to claim them by 8 AM, or even earlier. By 9 AM, everything is usually taken. The loungers don't have soft mattresses. You can get beach towels and mats from the lobby if you don't manage to get a sun lounger. There's an infinity pool on the rooftop where you can watch the sunset away from the crowds, but there are only a few loungers there too, so you also need to get there early. Breakfasts include various types of meat, scrambled eggs, rice, fruits, pastries, toast, coffee, some sweets, and vegetables. Overall, you'll be full, but everything is cooked with a lot of oil. I wouldn't recommend having lunch or dinner here or ordering food by the pool; there are many cafes and restaurants nearby where you can eat delicious food. In the evenings, there's always some entertainment at dinner, like music or a fire show. The hotel is located in the most central part of Station 2, just steps from D'Mall, with Epic and Om clubs nearby. However, for us, there were too many people, especially from sunset onwards. There were also many vendors offering their services and goods, which got annoying, and many people just strolling around or sitting on the beach. It was noisy and lacked any sense of privacy. Cleaning consists of changing towels and emptying the trash."

"Stayed on the same floor with the resto and reception. Across the resto. Very noisy sa bar up to 10-11pm. You can also hear yung dumadaan And kabilang room. During our stay, The other room may nag iiyakan, other room may sumusuka. Haha!🥴 Across the room naman, sound ng spoon and fork na inaayos until midnight. Pag may dumadaan rinig mo lahat. My sister had to use noise cancelling earphones just to sleep. On the other hand. Goods yung turn down service. May pa goodnight snack whenever we go back sa room after dinner. And bed and pillow- soft and comfy. Cozy room also. Helpful staff and approachable. Noisy lang talaga for those na di makatulog ng maingay. Also, when we checked in. Sa madarin island yung drop and we had to walk to mandarin nest for about 5-7mins walk since di accessible ng etrike yung hotel. If you want to ride an e trike naman, you have to walk thru d-mall and to the road. Dmall is right beside the hotel. May jolibee and mang inasal sa baba ng hotel."

"Our stay at the Savoy Hotel was amazing. We had a lot of fun by the pool, at the gym, or playing ping pong. We also got a massage at the Lila spa that we really enjoyed. Our room was comfortable, clean, there was a balcony. Our towels were changed every day, garbage was picked up, sheets were changed every other day. The staff were great, polite, attentive, helpful. They deserve a lot of praise, especially the shuttle bus driver, Chris, who really made our trip even better providing a lot of information about the island and the Philippine tradition. The food was tasty. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of food. The Newcoast beach is a walking distance from the hotel, and the famous Keyhole is nearby that beach. The dmall and white beach area are just 20 mins away by free shuttle bus. Thank you, Savoy, for such a wonderful experience! 🤗"
