"We had a great time staying at Mercure Hotel. The room I’ve booked was spacious and comfortable.
They have sauna and good hotel amenities.
We enjoyed the pool area as well. Food selections was great too.
It has lots of restaurants , coffee shops and stores so it’s quite convenient and enjoyable.

"A wonderful stay with warm smiles and tasty breakfast.
Wehad a great experience at Amber Hotel Cebu. The staff were all incredibly smiley and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was simple, but honestly still tasty and satisfying - just what we need to start the day right.
The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked as expected. A couple of minor things to note: the hotel doesn’t provide slippers, so you might want to bring your own, and the shower area is a bit small, which can cause water to splash around. But these didn’t take away from the overall positive vibe of my stay.
For the price, service, and location, I’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!"

I recently stayed at this accomodation and was really impressed. The room was well-equipped — it had a coffee maker, rice cooker, induction cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine…and even a garment steamer! There was a steady supply of drinking water, a big TV, and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the bathrobes provided — a nice touch of comfort. It also had a gym and a pool but unfortunately, I stayed on a Monfay and its closed for cleaning and maintenance.
The place is quiet since it’s located away from the city noise but still conveniently close to the airport. The only small issue I had was figuring out how the hot shower works, but everything else was perfect. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d definitely come back!"

"Overall, our stay at Seda Ayala was mixed, and I would rate it 3 out of 5.
The room itself was decent—clean and comfortable enough for a short stay, though nothing particularly memorable. Breakfast offered a wide selection of options, which was appreciated, but unfortunately the taste did not quite match the variety.
What really affected our experience, however, was the service at the front desk during checkout. There were three counters open and only a short queue, yet the line barely moved and we ended up waiting for around 15 minutes. As we were in a rush to catch our flight, I approached a staff member named Stephan to ask if I could simply hand over the room keys to speed things up. Instead of assisting, he gave me a hostile look and curtly responded, “I have other customer,” in a tone that felt unnecessarily rude.
This interaction overshadowed what was otherwise an average stay. With better service, especially at the front desk, the experience could have been much more pleasant."

There is a swim up bar, but no one is there.
There is a bar onsite, but it’s not really “open”. It isn’t staffed, I had to call to get someone to come up, and I don’t think there’s drinks actually there, as Yvette had to go downstairs to get my beers.
She was lovely though, she chatted to me while I had a beer.
The room has tea and coffee, toothbrush/paste set.
We were the only guests there, so it was very quiet. It’s a massive, cool hotel.
Overall a great stay!"

"It was one of the best hotel/resort that I have ever stayed! That’s why it was very busy and crowded but in a good way. It has a great location; near airport and not far from the city proper and they have nearby beach. Their opportunity for improvement is perhaps the food. But overall we enjoyed our stay."

AAnonymous UserThis stay truly exceeded my expectations. I stayed for three nights and didn't even leave the hotel once – I simply didn't want to! All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service that made my stay exceptionally comfortable. Housekeeping was super responsive; any request I had was handled very quickly.
The restaurant service was even more meticulous. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the staff would proactively and kindly ask if I wanted coffee or other drinks, and often, the coffee was even complimentary – such a heartwarming detail. The mangosteens and mangoes at breakfast were unlimited, making it a true 'fruit paradise' – so satisfying! The breakfast selection on Saturday and Sunday was rich and delicious, while Monday's was slightly less impressive, but overall, it was still fantastic. The entire experience was exceptional; I highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserI had a recent overnight stay at Fili Hotel Cebu with my wife and overall it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and good facilities.
Service was polite and efficient, though not particularly standout. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and good presentation, but the flavors were fairly average and leaned towards the safe side.
Overall, a solid and comfortable stay, though it falls a bit short of being truly memorable.

MMeihuizzzzThe entire resort consists of 1-2 story buildings, giving it a real vacation vibe away from the bustling city. The staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. You do have to be patient with the slower service, like dishes being served, which is common in the Philippines, but then again, we were there to enjoy a 'slow-paced life.' If you want your room cleaned quickly, you'll need to call the front desk specifically, otherwise, it typically won't be done until after 3 PM.

There is a small but very beautiful reef with a bunch of turtles living there (truly entering water is not super, but there is everywhere so)
It is necessary to mention:
1. in the shower in the room on the 2nd floor Well very weak water pressure, Well just a thin string (and cold and hot)
2. Far from the airport (but good places on Sebu always like this:()

AAnonymous UserAfter reading the description on the hotel website, seeing the pictures and reading the reviews, I have to admit that we were quite disappointed. We booked the „Royal Bungalow“ located directly at the private beach of the resort for 3 nights . The description promised: „With only 4 Royal Bungalows available, you’ll experience a heightened level of privacy and personalized service during your stay.“ We did not experience any personalized service or privacy. The beach was very crowded and noisy and people were having their picnic directly in front of our veranda. We also had the impression that there were quite a few day-guests at the beach. On the second night, the dinner was at the beach in front of our bungalow, with music blasting until 9pm, which wasn’t so nice with little children who wanted to sleep. On the third day, there was even a bouncing castle with a noisy motor next to the veranda (see pictures for the view from our bungalow). Our understanding of privacy and exclusivity differs considerably from what we experienced. Also, on the first day, our bungalow was only cleaned at 5 pm, even though we put the „please clean“ sign at 9:30. In addition, the service during dinner and breakfast was not very pleasant. The staff was not very attentive and our order for drinks was forgotten at 3 different occasions. There was not even a word of excuse when we kindly asked were our order was. Maybe it was because the main restaurant was closed for renovations and food was always served either at the beach or the pizza restaurant. After the first night, we asked whether it was possible to reserve a table for the next two nights, which was kindly promised to be arranged. Unfortunately, on both nights they forgot about it.
On the plus side, there were 2 shows during our stay during dinner, which was pretty cool and there is always life music. The Oyster bar at the beach is great and the staff there was amazing. Also, the gym is good and there are 3 pools at the resort, one with a slide, which tb kids really enjoyed. The resort itself is very nice designed work small huts and a lot of green. Also, upon request, they extended the offer to a complementary airport transfer as this would have been included in a booking via Their website (and not via trip.com).
One last thing, which I found quite strange was that - even though we had a full board offer via Trip.com - they tried to charge all buffet food (apart from breakfast) to us. I don’t know whether this was on purpose or just bad management, but it kinda added to the overall not too great experience. Once they adapted then the bill, they tried to charge the airport transfer - overall I felt quite uncomfortable during the check-out.
To summarise: It was okay to stay there, the resort is nice. The service did not really live up to the promise. You should be aware that it is quite a large resort.

LLeif ReyYou get what you pay for with this hotel. Although some of the appliances are old they still get the job done. The smart tv was a great addition to the room as it allowed us to watch and stream movies and tv shows. The only disappointing part was the internet connection as it wasn't stable and it wasn't fast enough to use reliably if you wanted to work.

GGabby TMy family and I only stayed for a night but it was a fun experience. There are a lot of pools and activity areas. All the pools were about knee to a bit above the waist high which was okay, I'm assuming it's for the safety of the kids since there are a lot of families with children in the resort. We also enjoyed the food(room service and breakfast buffet), but we were a bit disappointed with the dessert since the pastries were a little dry and bland. The drinks however, were good and enjoyable.
Service was really nice, everyone always greeted us with a smile and was attentive to our needs.
Wifi is free and so far we have had no problem with the speed.
The beds are comfortable and the rooms were clean. Though I felt our experience was a bit lacking since there were a few toiletries that were not provided, like room slippers, cotton buds and cotton, a comb, etc. Also the cable was not good so staying in the room to relax would feel a little boring. Also, you only get 1 free request for ice and the next has a payment. But they do provide free water which is refillable and they also offer free instant coffee and tea.
Overall, it was a fun experience and I would still love to come back next time.

She gave us wrong room because i booked mountain view then what we got is a wall, she said the mountain is behind that wall, omg, how come?..but later on she called again and transferred us to another room with mountain view, ok fine. But what dissapoints us more is when she called again and said, that they will get the set of cups from our new room for the reason that we already used the cups on the first room that she gave us, and that makes me mad, is that a big thing? Because of that we never use their cups, instead we buy our own. When we confront her, she’s not apologetic but instead answering us stupidly. Another thing is their flat iron is for rent, 200 pesos every 1 hour of using it. We have many travels abroad and have checked in several hotels, Ist time in history that I encountered a hotel like that only in Cebu
