"It is a nice location to travel to town or even just stay in the hotel. The breakfast has variety choices and wont get bored easily. For the photo of the towel, actually we request for 2 more bottle of mineral water but I don’t know why the house keeping talk about towel. And we check in for two adult but the house keeper insist only give one towel and not even a hand towel. At the end, we call to receiptionist to request the towel and they mentioned they suppose to provide 2 towels. Their internal communication within department shall be enhanced for this. Others cleanliness and hygiene is still acceptable"

"We love Nustar so much! This is probably our 5th time here! Stayed here from Nov 5 to 7 as it’s Mine and my bros bday and it was after Typhoon Tino. As always they are very accomodating, friendly and helpful and gave me a piece of cake and fruit bowl but this time I ask for a happy birthday note on the monitor for background pic for me & entire family as celebration but they keep telling me they will send someone up but no one really came from the IT department . I did expect a happy birthday greeting on the monitor it would have been very special, but I understand as maybe they are so busy and under staff because of the typhoon and instead of 2 pm check and we were able to check in very late like 5:30 pm because they’re probably under staffs but all of these did not ruin our overall stay as new star staffs are all very welcoming. We had birthday dinner in the good luck hotpot which is just inside Nustar as well. Thank you Nustar for being very welcoming , friendly and hand on chest when Greeting guest is such a Nustar trademark  please trade me a guest feel welcome and at home"

"My stay at Bai Hotel Cebu was nothing short of exceptional. It offers a perfect blend of modern luxury, outstanding service, and great value. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, it has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Twilight Roofdeck Lounge + Bar - This was my favorite spot. The rooftop pool and bar offer stunning views of the Cebu City skyline. I spent a late afternoon here, and the vibe, music, and atmosphere were perfect for unwinding. It’s also near to the famous Rico Lechon Restaurant I would highly recommend Bai Hotel Cebu to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be choosing it again on my next trip to Cebu."

"Hrmmm this one is a tricky one as we had a few unexplained situations. Firstly, the hotel itself was previously a Marriot 5-Star back in the day prior to be taken over in 2018 by the Seda Group. Secondly, there is so much ongoing renovation and construction that you need to be aware of; Noise coming from New Construction, the in hotel pool is unavailable from Feb-2025 and guests must walk across the street to another organisation's pool. Unfortunately this was a deal breaker for us. The food was average with cheaper and better tasting food located just minutes away by walking through the carpark. Overall the guest lounge (located on level 12) is a bonus but is super budget, not 4-Star Material. P.S. There is no rooftop bar, only a lounge overlooking a construction site. P.S.S The House of Lechon is 5 mins by Grab which is a plus."

"All bookings at Nustar Resort include breakfast and access to the Executive Club Lounge located on the 23rd floor of Fili Hotel. Mini-Bar is complimentary with a selection of 2 local beers, juices, and sodas. Nespresso machine with 4 capsules. TWG tea. Bottled water is unlimited. I appreciate the fridge being very cold. Gerlain Paris branded bathroom amenities, as well as bath salts for the large bath. Afternoon Tea (2:30 pm - 4:30 pm) Light snacks with a limited selection of savory and sweet bites, they need to improve on this. Evening cocktails and canapés (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm) Excellent food buffet. I like the lechon quesadillas, jalapeño cheese poppers, and siomai. I appreciate the bartender crafting cocktails from a menu of drinks. I understand the hotel is still brand new, but they need to do multiple inspections before releasing the room to guest. Vanity mirror was dusty from construction. The Butler service was very attentive, many thanks to Ice (Butler) for making my stay pleasant, he would escort me to the pool, and even breakfast buffet at Fili Hotel bypassing the crowd at the entrance. Breakfast Buffet is at Fili Hotel which is extensive and one of the best in Cebu. The problem is the crowd, while Nustar Butlers will escort Nustar guests to a table, there’s no dedicated tables for Nustar guests, which confuses the restaurant staff with seating assignments. Alternatively, the breakfast buffet at the executive club lounge is quiet but with limited options, they should have an a la carte menu to expand options like other international luxury hotels. The security at the lobby entrance is wildly inconvenient and inconsistent, every time you enter you need to prove you’re a guest of Nustar and not a guest of Fili or a casino player. It’s weird that they are sometimes overly strict and many times just ignore people passing by. Guests have a keycard to use elevators what’s the point of the guards that have a list of people’s names and room numbers, if anything that’s a security risk. The pool service is lacking. Shared between 2 hotels and the upcoming grand summit. The pool area lacks service of a 5-star hotel, towels need to be claimed at a towel hut. My expectation is that there are staff that will setup loungers with towels for guests. And since the pool facility is shared with the muncher large Fili Hotel it can get crowded. Fortunately, Nustar has a private infinity pool which was closed my stay. Nustar Resort has potential to be Cebu’s most luxurious hotel, they have the hard product with their spacious luxurious rooms, but they need to improve their soft product - the service from the butlers are outstanding and personal, but everyone else seems to be lost. For the asking price of 250-300 usd per night there’s a lot to expect. Nustar is primed for excellence but falls just short of achieving refined luxury. I’m hoping Nustar partners with Marriott and rebrand under Luxury Collection. Or even Hyatt with Unbound Collection."

"Crimson Hotel has excellent staff, friendly service, and great facilities such as the bubble pool party on Saturdays and private beach snorkeling. The location is a bit far from the city, but the shuttle helps. Rooms are clean though somewhat dated, and dining in the hotel restaurants is pricey, with overall costs on the higher side."

"My spouse and I have stayed at Sheraton hotels in various locations several times before and have always had wonderful experiences, which is why we chose your hotel for this trip. Actually, before the trip, the hotel we were most looking forward to was the Sheraton. While the staff members we encountered were very friendly and tried their best to assist us, we unfortunately faced a challenging situation with our room. We were disturbed by a persistent noise since the afternoon. Initially, we were told it was from the laundry machines, but when a technician arrived late at night, it was identified as an Air Conditioning (AC) mechanical issue. Because the issue couldn't be resolved, we had to move to a new room after 11:00 PM. The wait and the move took nearly an hour, leaving us both feeling quite exhausted. This is the first time we’ve had such a terrible experience with Sheraton, and it significantly impacted our rest. Unfortunately, the Sheraton Hotel did not offer any compensation. Even when we called the front desk the following morning to request a delayed check-out due to a late-night room change, the front desk refused, citing the large number of guests checking in the next day. We only received permission for a two-hour delay after personally protesting at the front desk. Upon check-out, there were no room discounts or compensation offered whatsoever. As a five-star hotel, such mistakes are unbelievable. The experience that day completely shattered our positive impression of the Sheraton Hotel. I sincerely hope you will address the issues with both the facilities and the service to prevent future guests from experiencing a similar mishap. By the room 816 to 908"

"The room was fantastic—spacious, modern, and incredibly clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. The shower was also excellent, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which is always a plus after a long day. Breakfast at the hotel was also great. With big variety and good quality of the food. From fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes, everything was delicious and well-prepared. However, the check-in process was a bit slow. It seemed like the front desk was understaffed or perhaps dealing with a system issue, which caused some delays. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that the swimming pool was under renovation during my stay. It would have been nice to know this in advance, as I was looking forward to using it after a long day in a car. Despite these minor inconveniences, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider returning."

"I had a great stay! The service was really nice and staff were all friendly and accommodating. The facilities were impressive— especially the gym, which was amazingly clean and well-maintained. The food was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and definitely worth recommending!"

"I loved that there were so many pools! The waterslide was super fun~ I had pre-booked an event for my birthday, and they said I'd get a bottle of wine and a cake, but only the wine was prepared. Still, the room was spacious and had a washing machine, which was great."
