"It all started with the fact that I couldn 't leave the bail because of some strange terminal that for some reason didn 't accept my card, well. And absolutely no staff was ready to help me with this, said the bail cannot be left in cash, and in rough form said everything is written in your booking rules. Good location. Noisy air conditioner. Water in the room cost $9, well, maybe it is also the norm for Miami, though, in my opinion, too overburdened"

"We live in Key West and come to Miami every 2-3 months. We have stay at this hotel, the Fontainebleau, or one of the 2 Kimptons for 5 years and always had a great experience at this hotel until this trip. It started at check in The guy at the desk “Carlos” was rude from the beginning. He was a smart aleck about everything. It was my wife’s birthday trip and it was definitely not the way we wanted to start it. Our room was hot and we didn’t have enough towels. We had dinner reservations and were going to see Andrea Bocelli. When we got back the room was still hot but we were exhausted from the day so we went to sleep. At 6:0am it was so hot it woke us up. My wife went to the front desk and a very nice Eloisa was there and helped my wife and they sent someone to look at it after 5 minutes it was working. I asked what was wrong and he said “it had a bubble in it” but acted like he couldn’t speak any more English. The thermostat was on cool and set 60° but the room never got below 74° at 6:00am. When my wife went to ask for a Double Tree Cookie she was told they were no longer a double tree hotel. This is one of the main reasons we stayed there and it has definitely changed. When we got there The Miami Dolphins were playing in Miami and every TV in the awesome bar area was off and I asked “Carlos” if they could turn the game on and was told it was under renovation but there was no sign of construction and if it was it had nothing to do with the tvs in the lobby. The entire vibe here is not what it was the last time we stayed here. This is a great location and one of the only hotels that still has a hot tub “but it only works half of the time”. He was also a **** about the pool towel card policy and said if I didn’t return the nasty reused card I would be charged $25 per card just to get a towel by the pool. If you do decide to stay there and there is a 20 something Spanish guy at the desk come back later for the sake of your peace on vacation."

"Very good experience. I will choose this hotel every time I come. It is very convenient to the exhibition hall and the beach, and a few steps to the nearby commercial street. You can cook your own food in the room, and there is a lot of space. I will stay here again next time."

"The environment is good, not as noisy as others say, probably because the room is not directly above someone else's shop. The room is also quite large. It's the first time I've stayed in such a fully self-service hotel."

"Service at the pool took long (ordered a beer bucket, so no mixing)! Refreshment lounge keys did not work, had to walk through all the hotel buildings again. Elevator in Tresor tower took forever since two were out of service, late check out was obly granted after asking personally at the reception but denied when calling guest services (20Minutes in line)! Prive and reputation did not match the expectation"

"The hotel is comfortable, in a good location, with secure access. That is, the local law and order in Miami is very dangerous, and you can't just wander around. It is recommended to stay in a more luxurious hotel if possible, and the security is safer."

"There is no problem in a twin room for a family of four. The bed is big enough. However, the space and passages in the room are very narrow. Generally, after the 24” suitcase is opened, there is no room to move around, which is a bit annoying. The waiters are very welcoming and helpful. The most surprising thing is that the hotel has free bicycle rentals, which can be borrowed for up to 2 hours a day. Our family of 4 borrowed 4 bicycles and cycled around South Beach, which we found to be a very worthwhile activity."

"The hotel is in the midst of a revamp and some refurbishments are being made which look very exciting!  Unfortunately the loud banging and drilling at 10am in the morning and a repair man letting himself into my room by mistake were the annoying flip side of this. Best bits  Breakfast is varied as long as you get there by 8:30am the latest, when we got there at 9am there was no fruit left and no orange juice.  Towels for the beach  Few minutes walk from a beautiful beach  CVS shop right next door  Things that could be better  Water in the room  Airport shuttle service  More than one lift  There is a little beach trolley bus across the road that takes you around for free! The staff were friendly but they didn’t give any information aside from breakfast hours, which could be extended"

"Great location. Rooms are clean, spacious, air conditioned.. They allow me to do a really early check in with charge. The staff is nice, helpful and professional, specially Nathaly, such an awesome and kind person."
