A good, modern hotel. The rooms are comfortable and everything looks very contemporary and nice. The staff are friendly, and the breakfasts are good with plenty of choices.
We booked a room with direct pool access. We found the pool a bit cool, but for those who like to cool down rather than just relax, it would be fine. :)
The grounds are large, clean, green, and beautiful, with plenty of space for a walk. The beach is just across the road; we even managed to swim a bit, but in August, there were waves and the red flag was almost constantly up. On the downside, there's not much nearby. The closest 7-Eleven is about a 20-minute walk away. However, there's a free shuttle to a large grocery store, near which you'll find many cafes and a market.
Throughout my 4-night stay, there was extremely loud construction noise all day long. Even though I paid a much higher price than usual because it was during the EDC festival, there was nothing I could do. The construction went on all day Sunday too, and it really didn't feel like a relaxing vacation at all. I think if they're going to have construction going on all day like that, they should really notify guests via email beforehand, or at least warn them, or simply not book guests in those areas. Since it's a recently built property, the surrounding area is also under construction, and there's nothing much nearby. The photos show the inner-facing rooms; all the rooms facing outwards are under construction.
The villa was fantastic with the private pool, proper smart TV with air play and a shuttle to the Layan Beach. There is a lonely cafe with limited options but you may find it a bit uncomfortableas the seating areas are scattered across many levels. The hotel, however, lack common area such as gym, breakfast area and swimming pool. You sometimes need a break from the room/villa but you won't get it here.
1. I had an excellent room. It had a shower and a bathtub, a coffee machine, water, an iron, and a transparent wall in the bathroom.
2. The room was above the reception. Apparently, there was an air conditioning system right above it, which was noisy. You couldn't sleep with the balcony open, but with it closed, everything was fine. It didn't bother me much. The room's view of the pool was an added bonus.
3. The balcony was large enough for yoga, and yoga classes were offered as a separate service.
4. The spa was amazing; I went every day.
5. There's a 7/11 nearby.
6. Near the beach, there are a few cafes and street food stalls. The noodles were meh, but the fish and papaya salad were fantastic.
7. The beach is unparalleled. In the mornings, you see runners, and in the evenings, retirees taking a stroll. There's plenty of shade and beautiful waves.
We had a very good stay at this hotel. The service was excellent — the staff were always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel was very clean, and you can tell that it’s quite new, which made everything feel fresh and well maintained.
The breakfast was good. It didn’t have a huge variety of options, but everything available was tasty and well prepared. The pool area was pleasant and perfect for relaxing.
Another great advantage is that there is a 7-Eleven right in front of the hotel, which is extremely convenient for snacks, drinks, or anything you might need.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely recommend it.
My friends and I recently stayed at The Pavilions Phuket from October 5-11, and we thoroughly enjoyed our week at your hotel.
I am writing to express our sincerest gratitude for the exceptional service provided by your staff members: Ja-aey, Army, Wawa, Manny, and Sol. They were all incredibly professional and helpful throughout our stay.
Please convey our thanks to them. We also appreciate the overall outstanding service your hotel provides!!
Just got back from a 5-day stay at LAYA Resort in Phang Nga and honestly, it exceeded all my expectations. The location is stunning — surrounded by water and tropical greenery, you really feel like you're escaping into another world. The architecture blends modern design with Thai cultural elements beautifully; every corner is photo-worthy.
The water park area is the highlight for families — my kid didn't want to leave. There are five themed zones, each with its own character, so you never get bored even staying for several days. The infinity pool overlooking the natural landscape is a must-visit at sunset.
Staff were attentive and warm, English communication was smooth, and the food at the on-site restaurants offered a good mix of Thai authentic dishes and international options. Rooms are spacious, beds are extremely comfortable, and the ocean/pool views are breathtaking.
Highly recommend for couples, families, and anyone looking for a unique resort experience in Southern Thailand. Will definitely come back!
Good apparatus, however, there is no microwave in the room, so that it is not possible to heat, for such types of apparatus simply it is necessary to put at least one oven for heating food. Inside the room cozy not big but not small, the bedroom isolated, was quiet to sleep.
