Hotels in Chunxi Road Commercial Area, Chengdu

This is our second stay within a week (after 2 nights at Jiuzhaigou). When we returned, it’s comforting to be greeted warmly by Xiao Zhang at the reception again (he checked us in one our first stay). Although the staff are on shifts and we met different people each day, everyone showed the same level of friendliness and helpfulness. We enjoyed a free upgrade again and loved the room with modern decor, and opportunity to wash our clothes before heading out again. We’re convinced that Sungold is the perfect base to explore Chengdu and other attractions in Sichuan. We’re off to Dujiangyan and Qingchen, and will be back here again for another 2 nights!

This hotel boasts a prime location in the heart of the Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li commercial district. It's a mere 5-minute walk to the IFS 'Climbing Panda' landmark and the Taikoo Li shopping street, meaning you can leisurely stroll back to the hotel late at night without needing a taxi or taking a detour. Despite being in a bustling area, the high-floor rooms effectively block out street noise once the windows are closed, offering a perfect balance of vibrancy and tranquility. The guest rooms feature a gentle, minimalist French decor with soft, appealing color schemes and no overly flamboyant decorations. The space is open and airy, not at all cramped. Equipped with a King Koil mattress that's just the right firmness, you can easily relax and fall asleep after a long day of walking and shopping. The en-suite bathroom comes with a rain shower, offering stable water flow for a great washing experience. The in-room WiFi is fast and smooth, and the complimentary mini-bar drinks were a big hit with the kids. Housekeeping provides meticulous daily cleaning, and the linens are changed promptly, ensuring a consistently high standard of hygiene throughout our stay. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked us in, provided incredibly thoughtful service: the check-in process was quick, and she kindly upgraded our room type, which was much appreciated for our family with children. In the lobby, there are always complimentary candies and drinks available, and a robot is on standby 24/7 to deliver items, so you don't have to go downstairs repeatedly to pick up packages or takeout orders. On the 29th floor, there's a 24-hour free gym and a self-service laundry room, fully equipped with washing machines, dryers, and ironing facilities, making laundry super convenient for long trips. The rotating panoramic restaurant on the 30th floor offers breakfast with stunning city views, creating an amazing atmosphere. The buffet breakfast combines Chinese and Western options, with plenty of local Sichuan dishes like 'chaoshou' (wontons), 'dandan' noodles, steamed buns, and congee, as well as Western choices like toast, fried eggs, and salads. The variety is extensive, and it's open until 11 am, so even late risers can catch breakfast. The lobby bar also offers afternoon tea, a perfect spot to relax and recharge after exploring. We were extremely satisfied with the location, service, and accommodation. We'll definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it!

I absolutely have to recommend this hotel! First off, it's steeped in ethnic cultural charm with truly unique decor. The owner is a descendant of the Han imperial family, and the entire hotel is decorated in the Han style. Even the beds in each room are part of his antique collection. Secondly, it's super convenient, just 100 meters from the subway – exit C1 of Line 10 is right in front. Plus, it's only 250 meters from Wuhou Temple. If you're heading to Yulin Road or Taikoo Li, it's just about 3 kilometers, a taxi ride would be around ten-something yuan. In summer, they even provide refreshing mung bean soup. They really pay attention to the guest experience.

Really enjoyed our stay in the top floor suite with an amazing view overlooking Taikoo Li and the skyline. The location is perfect for a short visit, with Taikoo Li just outside, making it very easy to walk around. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, responding to our requests and questions instantly, they even helped us fill up the bathtub/pool while we were out so it was ready upon our return! Also loved the projector screen to watch tv. Many amenities like snacks, towels, robes, slippers were also provided. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely return!

Back in 2021, I stayed at the Xinliang Grand Hotel in Chengdu and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was clean and tidy, and its excellent location made getting around incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were particularly warm and welcoming. This time, when my daughter visited Chengdu, I booked the same hotel for her, and her stay was just as great. I'll definitely choose Xinliang Grand Hotel again on my next trip to Chengdu.

The room was clean and the front desk staff was very enthusiastic and helpful, answering our travel questions promptly. It's super convenient to get around; there's a subway station and bus stops right downstairs. Plus, Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road pedestrian street are nearby.

Facilities: The hotel is very new and well-equipped. The elevators are also very fast. Hygiene: Very clean and a great experience. Environment: The location is excellent, very convenient, and highly recommended.

The location is excellent, not far from Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, and Tianfu Square, all within walking distance. The breakfast selection is rich, with local specialty dishes available. The front desk service was very warm and welcoming. The hotel also offers complimentary laundry service and afternoon tea, which I unfortunately didn't have time to experience.

I really liked this hotel. It was clean, cozy, and had a great view from the 14th floor. The location is convenient, with nice areas nearby for walks and enjoying the scenery. It's about a 10-13 minute walk to the metro stations. A big thank you to Xiao Luo for the excellent service! The room had everything I needed: a hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner, dental kits, slippers, plenty of clean, fresh towels, a tea set, and even a foot bath with herbs, just as promised when booking. The breakfast was simple but had all the essentials: eggs, sausages, toast, yogurt, tea, coffee, fruits, vegetables, local dishes, and desserts. Thank you! ✅☀️🌿

The hotel is conveniently located right downstairs from Chunxi Road, and also quite close to Taikoo Li, with plenty of dining options available. It has its own parking lot. The breakfast was delicious! It's about 500 meters from the official shuttle buses to Sanxingdui, Mount Qingcheng, and Dujiangyan. Chunxi Theater is approximately 200 meters away.
