Amazing location in the heart of the pedestrian street. Easy to walk around see sights and get food. The room is smaller than expected but enough for one person. There’s a bit of a smell sometimes in the bathroom, maybe from the drain. Has enough amenities and generally clean.

Located near to line 1 and 2 metro station. Many dining options nearby. Room is small but I guess that's the norm is Shanghai prime area. Building is old but this hotel is already renovated.

Staying 3 nights at this hotel and location just close to Nanjing Pedestrian Walk and The Bund. Hotel Receptionist is friendly and helpful. Especially at noon, one of the receptionist (She, Unknown her name) help us to call to a local shop which I forget to ask is there’s a VAT for the item I bought. Thanks to her. Another receptionist, Nana help us to contact the driver during midnight to pick-up cause our flight is 6am although we booked during our 2nd day stay. Thanks for the arrangement. Cleanliness of the room thumbs-up and very comfortable. During our stay, there’s a construction proceed from 9am-6pm but that is not an issue for us cause we at outside whole day. Definitely will stay again.

It was an interesting stay. Great location right off the shopping boulevard. The hotel has a bar and two restaurants. A spa, a foot spa, and gym. We had lounge access which was a nice bonus but not really worth the extra money. You get free breakfast, appetizers from 6-8, and lounge access for coffee and sodas from 1-930. The breakfast was yummy. Offered a wide selection of food with regional dishes to western foods. One of the few places I’ve traveled outside the US that has actual bacon. We never waited but there was a sign saying there were peak hours. Check in was great. I had an issue with a bag left in a DiDi and the front desk agent went out of his way to help me get in touch with driver to recover my bag. The room much like the rest of the hotel feels trapped in that fake opulence that was popular awhile back. The shower was awkward because of its shape but it did have a rain shower which was nice. One of the few hotels I’ve been in lately that didn’t have the bath stuff bolted to the wall (though it probably wouldn’t fit). Huge tub and large fluffy towels. My daughter and I both left with some bug bites from our stay not bed bugs but definitely something. The biggest drawback to the room is the lack of functional outlets. One bed has no open plugs or usb ports the other bed has a wonky extension cord with some usb ports. Found one other usb in the room in the desk area. The hotel is doing some work apparently later this month so hopefully they bring it into this century. One thing I didn’t discover until the next day is there is an entrance from the back of the hotel right on the big shopping street. There’s also a cute little food court right there where you can grab a pretty decent variety of food. One warning is didi and food delivery have a hard time with the address

This time, when I brought my child to Shanghai for a trip, I still chose the Crowne Plaza Shanghai Nanjing Road. After a tiring full day at Disneyland, we arrived at the hotel and were grateful for the room upgrade to a suite. After checking out, we realized we had left a bag behind. A big thank you to staff member #066 who helped us find it and even arranged for it to be couriered home. The service here is absolutely amazing! Thank you very much! ❤️❤️

We had an excellent stay at Youli Hotel. The location is very good as it is just few minutes away from everywhere we want to go in Shanghai. It is also very near to the Metro Station. Basically the location is 10 out 10! For muslims, u can easily walk to GuanGuanJi Halal Restaurant and Halal Hot Pot from the hotel. Below is also a Family Mart and across the stress there is Luckin. The staffs are also very helpful and courteous. I would like to applaud all of them for the excellent customer service. We can easily contacy them via WeChat for all our needs. Well done YouLi Hotel!! I will definitely come back to stay if am in Shanghai and will also recommend Youli Hotel to my friends!

Just listen carefully from me... Please you must check all the towel , bed sheet before you use... My experience in this hotel is very very terrible there is a human **** in the towel ... Very traumatic until now remember this things.... I also feel that they dont doing their job as a housekeeping , my pillow , my bed sheet they don't change it .. only put the pillow in the place.. I already tell the hotel and they just say sorry and blaa...bla...bla... , give me merchandise. Please re consider to stay in this hotel .... And for you guys please check the towel before you use it this affect to anywhere anyplace hotel that you stay..

The location is great, near to many famous food places and shopping district. However, the hotel room is small, bathroom is small too. The room has a smell of mouldy air con, or clothes not dried with sun kind of smell that lingered for long. They don’t change bedsheets or blanket covers unless requested (we stayed five nights). And after night 3 I requested cos it was dirty. Ordering food and collection of Taobao parcels were easy. Service staff were friendly. So all they need is really a Reno I guess. Oh there is no drop off area for hotel so getting on cabs or didi was a bit difficult but doable.

I made a special trip to leave a review after my stay, and it was a perfect experience. The hotel boasts an excellent location and a warm, tranquil interior design. The rooms are well-laid out, and the cleanliness standards are strict. The bedding and bathroom amenities are of good quality. What truly impressed me most was the hotel's overall service quality. The staff are well-trained, proactive in anticipating guests' needs, respond efficiently, and are friendly and approachable. There's no mechanical, rote service; instead, every interaction feels genuinely warm. While good facilities are fundamental, the exceptional, personalized service is undoubtedly the hotel's biggest highlight. Consequently, I extended my stay by another night, and Lynn at the front desk thoughtfully accommodated my request. This is definitely a hotel I'll choose again.

My foreign friend and I came to Shanghai to visit the Bund, and this Jinglai Light Luxury hotel was truly the perfect choice! Its location is unbeatable – right outside is Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and the Bund attractions are within walking distance via the subway, saving a ton of commuting time. Yu Garden and Chenghuang Temple are just a short taxi ride away (minimum fare), making it super convenient for sightseeing and dining without any detours. Coming back to the hotel late at night after shopping was a breeze. As for hygiene, the room was meticulously cleaned. The pure white bed linen and duvet covers felt clean and comfortable, giving us peace of mind. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic. They proactively gave us a recommended route for experiencing the Bund's night view, and check-in was done in just two minutes. We had two large suitcases, and they kindly helped us carry them to the elevator on the second floor. They even offered recommendations for affordable local Shanghainese restaurants nearby. Free luggage storage and bottled water were available at the front desk anytime, and our requests were met very quickly. The facilities were complete and functional. Overall, the value for money in the core area of East Nanjing Road was excellent. I'll definitely book this place again next time I bring foreign friends to Shanghai. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Bund!

JJesynI had a wonderful stay at Opartment Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I originally booked a 5-night stay, and during my second booking, they kindly upgraded us to a bigger and better room that came with a spacious living area. This made a huge difference, especially since I was traveling with kids—it was very comfortable and convenient for our family. The upgraded room also included a washing machine and dryer, which was extremely helpful and made our stay feel even more like home. What truly stood out was their thoughtful gesture for our wedding anniversary. The hotel prepared a cake for us, which was such a lovely surprise and made our celebration extra special. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. I truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend Opartment Hotel to anyone, especially families.

GGuest UserIt's rare for a place to get 5 stars from me, but this one truly exceeded my expectations and deserves full marks. As a hostel, the price is very affordable. Of course, I've stayed in cheaper places, but what really impressed me here was the cleanliness. After checking in, you have to change into slippers before entering the room, which I really appreciate (though I did wonder what would happen if someone had smelly feet!). Besides the en-suite bathroom in the room, there are also several shared shower rooms and toilets outside, which is perfect for someone like me who comes back late and doesn't want to disturb others. They're not cramped, and there's space to put your toiletries, which is very convenient. The room uses a password to open the door, which is a bit of a hassle. If you don't have your phone, it's impossible to remember. The lockers in the room also have self-set passwords, which isn't particularly convenient; I saw two people struggling, repeatedly trying to open their lockers after forgetting their passwords or setting them incorrectly. You have to put on the bedsheets and duvet cover yourself – clean, but a bit of a bother, depending on how you see it. There are cabinets above the bed, which are handy for storing things. There's a washing machine and a common lounge area, but I didn't use either. Overall, during the dozen-plus hours I stayed, my impression was very good (my roommates were quiet, which was a bonus!).

SStevenChong85Guests: 2 adults, 1 child (6 years old) Room type: King Bed (Double Bed) --- ⭐ Location: Absolutely Perfect The hotel is right next to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. M&M's, LEGO, and the Bund are just a short walk away. It's incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and taking the subway. The area downstairs is lively, but we didn't find it noisy. However, if you're sensitive to noise, I recommend asking the hotel for a higher floor room in advance (their highest is the 6th floor). ⭐ Room: Small, but Clean The room isn't very large. After placing two suitcases and a stroller, it was pretty difficult to move around. One unique feature: the sink isn't inside the bathroom; it's right by the entrance on the right. If this bothers you, you might want to reconsider. We specifically asked the hotel staff, and if you want a larger room, they suggest the family room. The main differences are the location within the hotel and the size of the desk. If you're traveling with kids, I honestly recommend booking a family room directly. As for cleanliness, it was impeccable: · Towels were replaced daily, and they were the individually packaged, disposable kind. · A cleaner came to tidy up every day. · Water bottles were replenished daily. The hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly, no issues at all. ⭐ Service: Truly Worth Mentioning This was the most surprising aspect of our entire stay. We don't have Chinese phone numbers, and initially, we were worried about ordering food delivery or making purchases. However, the hotel staff were incredibly proactive in helping us. Not only was their attitude excellent, but they genuinely solved our problems: · Helped with food delivery: They used their own phones to order meals for us directly. · Helped buy a suitcase: On one occasion, we needed to buy a suitcase, and a supervisor named Ruan (阮) even used his personal account to order it for us. This level of service goes beyond ”basic courtesy”; they were truly dedicated to helping guests. We arrived at the hotel past 1 AM, and the front desk quickly processed our check-in without any issues, even though we were using passports. Luggage storage was also smooth: On the day we went to Wuzhen, we left our large suitcases in the lobby. They tagged them, and we simply picked them up upon our return. There are many surveillance cameras throughout the hotel, making it feel quite secure. ⭐ Value for Money: No Breakfast, No Restaurant, but Location and Service Made Up for It This hotel doesn't offer breakfast or have a restaurant. While there are many dining options downstairs, the hotel itself doesn't provide breakfast. Considering the price, the location, and this level of service, it was very reasonable, even exceeding our expectations. --- ✅ In Summary If you want to stay near Nanjing Road and can accept a slightly smaller room, this hotel is definitely worth considering. Especially if you're traveling with children and don't have a Chinese phone number, their service will give you great peace of mind. However, for family trips, I recommend booking a family room directly.

GGuest UserAn absolutely fantastic stay! The hostel was spotless and well-maintained, with modern decor. The staff were incredibly welcoming and patient, paying attention to every detail. What truly touched me was how they proactively helped me retrieve and ship a pair of shoes I'd left behind – they're super dependable. I genuinely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Shanghai. It's only a few hundred meters from the Bund and just dozens of meters from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and sightseeing. Highly, highly recommend!

The hotel's hygiene, environment, and staff service attitude are all very good. The location is excellent; you just take the elevator down to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.

GGuest UserFirst, the good points: The washing machine and dryer were super convenient, allowing us to wash our clothes during our trip – everything felt clean and tidy! It rained the day we arrived, so we were stuck inside, but the kids had a blast playing house on both floors. It's about a six-minute walk to the metro station, which is decent. The Bund is just a ten-minute walk away, perfect for admiring the historic architecture and the Oriental Pearl Tower, and experiencing the two different worlds along the Huangpu River. If you turn left out of the hotel and walk one block, you'll find a breakfast spot selling buns, porridge, and eggs at market prices. Now for the downsides: Don't expect much in the way of room service or friendly smiles from the staff.

GGuest UserI had a fantastic experience staying at the [Shanghai Yijun Hotel] during my trip to Shanghai! The location is absolutely perfect; the subway entrance is right outside, making it just a few stops to popular spots like Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and Chenghuang Temple. After a long day of sightseeing, it was wonderful to come back to a spotlessly clean room with a meticulously made bed. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a smile whenever we entered or left. The price was very reasonable, and given the excellent service and cleanliness, it offers truly amazing value for money!
