"Spending a night at Changdi Inn, nestled in the heart of the historic Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my Xiamen trip. The inn is located within a centuries old Hakka earthen building, and the moment you step inside, you will be instantly transported back in time. The stay offers an immersive look into traditional Hakka culture and architecture, surrounded by thick earthen walls, wooden beams, and antique details that speak volumes of the past. What mak it extra special was meeting the friendly innkeeper, a 6th generation descendant of the family that built and preserved this Tulou. He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful. The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring. Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city."

"There are not many Longyan hotels. We passed by by car and went to their parking lot. Their home has a big parking lot. Parking is particularly convenient and suitable for friends traveling by car. It is only 50 meters away from the river, and there are many places to eat across the small bridge."

"Very good hotel. Lobby reception probably not so experienced with foreigners but always polite and helpful. Clean room and comfortable. All facilities were excellent. Didn't eat at the hotel, but noticed it was always very busy which is always a good indication. Certainly can recommend to visitors to Longyan. Close to train station (about 15 minutes by car)."

"Staying in a modern room within a centuries-old Tulou was an incredible experience! They even installed an elevator in the Tulou, which was a thoughtful touch. The location is right next to the Tulou Prince scenic area, and there's parking available for those driving. What made it even better was the fantastic evening show; we specifically came for it and felt it was totally worth the trip! My only minor complaint is that the mattress was a bit too soft, and after a day of driving, it wasn't great for my back. Luckily, there was a firm daybed I could sleep on. I'd recommend visiting during the off-season; it's quieter at night, and you'll feel like you have the whole Tulou to yourself for photos. However, it's still a good idea to bring noise-canceling headphones, otherwise, you might get woken up early by tour groups checking in."

"This hotel is a beautifully converted tulou, offering a modern and polished take on a traditional structure. While it may lack some of the original lived-in charm you might expect from such heritage buildings, it still provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The service was a standout, staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, which really enhanced the overall experience. As for the room design, we were initially impressed by the split-level layout, with the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom and toilet below. However, this became a bit inconvenient, especially for older guests needing to use the bathroom during the night. The shower setup was another slight drawback, as there’s no space to hang clothes or towels inside. This means you have to change outside the shower area, making it difficult for others to use the lower level at the same time. These were minor inconveniences rather than major issues, and they didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment of the stay."

"The hotel service is very good and considerate. It is very convenient to eat, drink and have fun here in Wanda. I like snacks so much that I can't finish them. The beds in the room are quite large and the floor-to-ceiling windows make it very warm to live in. It will be my first choice next time I come to Longyan. The fourth floor has a restaurant, gym and conference room."

"We were very fortunate to have chosen Huanxing Inn for a night's rest; it was a perfect stay. First, the room was large and comfortable. Second, the location was excellent, right next to Huanxing Tower, very convenient for tourists wanting to see performances. Third, the food provided by the inn was good, and the dishes suited our tastes perfectly, especially the braised eggplant, which was very unique. Fourth, the owners were very welcoming and kind, offering us helpful advice on planning our itinerary, saving us time and energy. Finally, parking was convenient for tourists with cars. "A new hotel right at the entrance of the scenic longyan tourist site . Smart hotel with voice activated light control. Friendly front desk, comfortable beds and clean linens. Come with room slippers and other standard toiletries. Breakfast is basic . BYO coffee or tea. Not supplied at breakfast . Best part is the complimentary tour guide . Ms Lee is amazing , very knowledgeable. Recommend staying one night at least..We missed the evening show due to bad weather. The tulong and river night scene is pretty spectacular. And the morning is the best time to discover the town before tourists arrive."

"We came to Longyan from Chaoshan to see the Tulou, and chose this hotel on Ctrip. In my daughter's words, it was a big surprise! We had many adults and children, and originally booked a twin room but couldn't put it together, so we went to the front desk to change to a king-size bed room. The beautiful lady at the front desk saw that we brought a baby and directly upgraded it to a parent-child theme room. The children were so surprised and happy when they entered the room! The room is very large, the bed is 2.7 meters, and the bedding tent and rocking horse are all very child-friendly. I like the lady at the front desk. Hygiene: Very clean! Every place is in place Comfort: The mattress, pillows and quilt are very comfortable. This is the best night of sleep in the ten-day tour. I don't worry about the sound insulation at all, and the noise from the outside can't be heard on the high floor. Laundry room: There are seven or eight washing machines, most of which have drying function, and there are two separate dryers. The children's dirty clothes are washed at once, which is very liberating for parents when going out. Breakfast: There are many varieties, fresh ingredients, and the taste is also very good, especially the homemade peanut milk, which is delicious. Parking: It is right in Wanda Mall, which is very convenient for dinner and shopping. You can park directly in the Wanda Hotel area. The elevator is convenient and free. In short, I was really lucky to stay at Fenghua Hotel when I came to Fujian for the first time. I picked up a treasure. The price of the parent-child room during the Spring Festival is more than 600, including breakfast, which is much more cost-effective than the four-star and five-star hotels I stayed in before. The key service is superb! !"
