"The room was fantastic, and they even gave the kids some arcade tokens, which they loved. The next morning, we went up to the Cloud Observation Deck. Even though the weather wasn't great and we missed the sunrise, we still got to see a beautiful panoramic view of Longyan city, which was pretty amazing. During the Chinese New Year, they also organized some intangible cultural heritage experiences, like making lacquer fans and woodblock prints. The kids had a blast and even learned something new! 😄😄
The breakfast was incredibly rich with lots of local specialties, and the taste was really authentic. They had both Chinese and Western options, highly recommend it!"

"The smart hotel is worthy of its name. It is really surprising to have such a good room for less than 200. The space is large enough, the hygiene is very good, the decoration facilities are very new, and the front desk service attitude is very good. The room size is also very comfortable, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas and the space is large. Smart devices are very suitable for young people. What I like most is that the lights in the toilet are all induction, so I don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn off the lights. The robot delivery is also very fast and super convenient. The location of the hotel is particularly easy to find. It is a very satisfactory experience! Highly recommended, I will stay here again next time I have the chance."

"Staying in a modern room within a centuries-old Tulou was an incredible experience! They even installed an elevator in the Tulou, which was a thoughtful touch. The location is right next to the Tulou Prince scenic area, and there's parking available for those driving. What made it even better was the fantastic evening show; we specifically came for it and felt it was totally worth the trip! My only minor complaint is that the mattress was a bit too soft, and after a day of driving, it wasn't great for my back. Luckily, there was a firm daybed I could sleep on. I'd recommend visiting during the off-season; it's quieter at night, and you'll feel like you have the whole Tulou to yourself for photos. However, it's still a good idea to bring noise-canceling headphones, otherwise, you might get woken up early by tour groups checking in."

"The front desk is friendly and the room is large. The hotel is right behind the Ramada. There is a refrigerator, shoe cabinet, and rocking chair in the room. The overall value for money is good. However, the kettle is a bit dirty and the bed is too soft. I have a bad waist and cannot sleep on a soft bed, so I still give it 5 stars."

"The location is excellent, very close to the back entrance of Tulou King Scenic Area. There were a few restaurants to eat, but there was quite a large road construction going on, so we went to a restaurant in the scenic area. The price difference was not as much as I thought it would be. The service from the hotel front desk was very heartwarming. She took me and helped me buy a bus ticket. She even accompanied me to the bus stop and accompanied me until I got on the right bus! The hotel room was clean, just like the pictures. Some of the facilities were old-fashioned, but it didn't seem like a big problem."

"The cleanliness of the rooms is definitely outstanding among all the guesthouses in the Tulou scenic area. The young ladies at the front desk have a great service attitude. The hotel rooms are very spacious, the bed is large and comfortable, and the bedding is very clean. The shower has strong water pressure, and the smart toilet is also spotless. Overall, I think the experience for this price is quite good! The Tulou performance offered by the hotel was excellent. I originally planned to eat at the hotel on the night I arrived, but the chef wasn't there. However, the restaurant the hotel recommended was also pretty good, though surprisingly not cheaper than the hotel's prices. For a pet-friendly hotel to have this standard, I'm already very satisfied. 100 points!"

Ms Lee is amazing , very knowledgeable. Recommend staying one night at least..We missed the evening show due to bad weather. The tulong and river night scene is pretty spectacular. As soon as I entered the hotel, I felt that the environment was very clean, spacious and beautiful. The service staff will help with the luggage, and the people are very nice and enthusiastic. The charging piles and other facilities are also complete, and the stay is convenient and fast.
The hotel's supporting activity function room has a billiard table, swimming pool, gym, etc., but I don't have time to go this time. I will definitely try it next time. It is really pleasant to take a walk on the back road at night, and it is really worthy of a resort hotel.
I live in a villa room. The overall decoration design is very comfortable. There is a small living room and a small dining table. I especially like to sit there at night. Calling and contacting the staff to get something is also coming soon.

The stay offers an immersive look into traditional Hakka culture and architecture, surrounded by thick earthen walls, wooden beams, and antique details that speak volumes of the past. What mak it extra special was meeting the friendly innkeeper, a 6th generation descendant of the family that built and preserved this Tulou. He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful.
The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring.
Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city.

SShanshan·The wisest decision I made on this trip to Changting was choosing the Song Ci Hangzhan Hotel! As a four-star hotel, it perfectly blends historical charm, a superb location, and modern comfort, making for a fantastic stay.
A hotel in the heart of the ancient city! The windows offer views of the Tingjiang River, and it's super convenient to walk to Jichuan Gate and Shuidong Street. The modern Chinese-style rooms are clean and smartly equipped, the bedding is so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed, and the front desk even provided helpful travel tips. Parking is reimbursed for those driving, making it incredibly cost-effective. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changting!

She helped us find a private car with a guide to Dingwuling village. The room is a bit small but provided all necessary equipment. The hotel also has a washing machine and an area for drying clothes.

I expected and the Hakka dishes in the restaurant next door were also delicious. The front desk sister Jiang is also very hospitable and talkative. In fact, this time from Malaysia to Yongding is to find roots. After talking to her, she was very happy to introduce me to the tour guide. After the tour guide took me to a lot of earth buildings, I found the ancestors by the way. In the evening, I returned to the hotel and met my sister at the front desk. We talked again before getting off work. She knew my hometown and was very happy to help me. I said that there were relatives who could help me find my hometown relatives. YYouyayoumomoyuThe entire square Tulou building, Chaoyang Tower, has been transformed into a guesthouse. It retains many of its mottled walls, giving it a strong sense of history and rustic charm. The wooden stairs, hallway floorboards, and wooden doors all creak, which the kids found quite fun. It's truly pleasant to quietly listen to the birds, admire the distant mountains, and sip tea here.
We visited during Chinese New Year, and generally felt the festive cheer was a bit lacking. For example, the front desk didn't have any New Year's candies or similar treats (which, of course, isn't a requirement). The spring couplets by the entrance had also fallen off, and the ground floor was mostly deserted, feeling very quiet and lonely.
Breakfast was served at a different guesthouse, 'Duli', and it was absolutely delicious!
The room design had some inconveniences. The countertop next to the sink was quite low, making it uncomfortable to stoop down for makeup or other activities. Hanging space for clothes was limited, and the hanging rod felt a bit shaky, so we were hesitant to put too many items on it. In the duplex room, it got quite cold at night. While the upper level had air conditioning, the lower level did not, with only a heater in the bathroom. The shower water pressure was extremely low, and the storage water heater couldn't sustain hot water for long, leading to a very poor overall showering experience.
I'd recommend visiting on a weekday, as the prices are better value. It's acceptable for a short stay, but for a longer trip, I wouldn't advise it for anyone who enjoys taking proper showers.
