"This guesthouse is right at the entrance of the Fujian Tulou Prince Scenic Area. We visited during road construction, but parking was available right outside. The guesthouse itself is a converted Tulou, and the rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable. It's truly impressive how well a 500-year-old Tulou has been renovated. In the evenings, there were Hakka cultural and art performances. The service was excellent, and breakfast offered a good variety. Overall, a very satisfying stay during our road trip."

"This hotel is a beautifully converted tulou, offering a modern and polished take on a traditional structure. While it may lack some of the original lived-in charm you might expect from such heritage buildings, it still provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The service was a standout, staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, which really enhanced the overall experience. As for the room design, we were initially impressed by the split-level layout, with the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom and toilet below. However, this became a bit inconvenient, especially for older guests needing to use the bathroom during the night. The shower setup was another slight drawback, as there’s no space to hang clothes or towels inside. This means you have to change outside the shower area, making it difficult for others to use the lower level at the same time. These were minor inconveniences rather than major issues, and they didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment of the stay."

We came to Longyan from Chaoshan to see the Tulou, and chose this hotel on Ctrip. In my daughter's words, it was a big surprise! We had many adults and children, and originally booked a twin room but couldn't put it together, so we went to the front desk to change to a king-size bed room. The beautiful lady at the front desk saw that we brought a baby and directly upgraded it to a parent-child theme room. The children were so surprised and happy when they entered the room! The room is very large, the bed is 2.7 meters, and the bedding tent and rocking horse are all very child-friendly. I like the lady at the front desk. Hygiene: Very clean! Every place is in place Comfort: The mattress, pillows and quilt are very comfortable. This is the best night of sleep in the ten-day tour. I don't worry about the sound insulation at all, and the noise from the outside can't be heard on the high floor. Laundry room: There are seven or eight washing machines, most of which have drying function, and there are two separate dryers. The children's dirty clothes are washed at once, which is very liberating for parents when going out. Breakfast: There are many varieties, fresh ingredients, and the taste is also very good, especially the homemade peanut milk, which is delicious. Stayed for a night at the hotel and took the free guided tour to the 王子 Tulou. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Food is slightly above average. Location is right next to a Tulou. but it is not the Tulou with the tour. Attended the dinner shoe next door using the discount coupon. It is probably one of the lamest show I have seen in China. Very loud and piercing compère. Don’t waste your money on the show. The free guided tour is only for 王子土楼. The free guided tour is good. You may need your own transport there. You still need to pay for your tickets into the 土楼。 the guide’s relatives live there. Basically she will bring you to her house or cousin’s house for tea. And the tea is expensive. You get the drift.

The wisest decision I made on this trip to Changting was choosing the Song Ci Hangzhan Hotel! As a four-star hotel, it perfectly blends historical charm, a superb location, and modern comfort, making for a fantastic stay. A hotel in the heart of the ancient city! The windows offer views of the Tingjiang River, and it's super convenient to walk to Jichuan Gate and Shuidong Street. The modern Chinese-style rooms are clean and smartly equipped, the bedding is so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed, and the front desk even provided helpful travel tips. Parking is reimbursed for those driving, making it incredibly cost-effective. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changting!

The old Changting Hotel is a very good choice for the price in the local area. It is not far from the ancient city and it is very convenient to go out and play. The hotel has its own parking lot. You don't need to toss when you drive over to park. The disadvantage is that there is no underground garage. In the evening, many people recommend the pig waist, tried it, the fishy is not enough, the fishy smell is more obvious, the taste is worse. The overall room is quite satisfactory, clean and neat, there is not much fancy design.

The KTV equipment is full of new songs. Everyone sings happily. The big round table just accommodates the three families for dinner and the atmosphere is lively. The hotel's own Wulong Lake Forest Plank Road is built along the lake, and it is very pleasant to walk. The villa has a large space and full function, taking into account privacy and interaction, which is very suitable for family or friends gatherings and is worth recommending.

The service of the hotel is very good, the hygiene and food are very good, and the guests are always responsive to their requests. The hotel is located in the center of the city, next to the local snack street. After crossing the bridge, you will reach the intersection of the scenic spot. We ate almost all our meals at the hotel, which saved us the hassle of looking for restaurants outside. The breakfast buffet was nutritious and filling, and the Chinese restaurant served authentic home-style dishes made with fresh ingredients. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. Whether it was for a quick bite or a proper meal, all our needs were met. Stayed during the 2025 National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays. The room was spacious and overall very clean. The bedding was comfortable, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard, which made for a great sleep. The staff had already turned on the AC before we checked in, so the room was cool, a welcome relief from the autumn heat. We were on the 7th floor with a mountain view. Parking was free, and we also received two breakfast vouchers, tickets to the 'Tulou Night' show, and a choice of one out of three main dishes. We picked the pickled fish, which was a massive portion and tasted delicious. The staff even delivered it to our room – very warm and helpful service. Considering the reasonable price of just over 400 yuan per night, it felt like excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
