"This was my first stay at Intercity, and it exceeded my expectations. My husband and I have been checking out various hotels, from luxurious ones to cozy guesthouses, and this Yangzhou branch was by far the most comfortable and relaxing. They truly made us feel at home. Every staff member treated guests like family, which was incredibly warm. On our first day, the doorman meticulously washed our car because we had driven a long distance and there were many 'bug corpses' on the windshield. We were genuinely touched by his thoughtful gesture. Their enthusiastic service continued until we entered the elevator. Such small details were perfectly executed, which made me think that the rest of our stay would be just as good. And indeed, the breakfast was another pleasant surprise. Although the dining room was small, the dishes were exquisite and plentiful. Moreover, the service from Restaurant Supervisor Mu added another layer of excellence; honestly, there's nothing to complain about. (Also, Mao Mao from the laundry room was very patient and meticulous, and the laundry equipment was spotless, completely eliminating any concerns about hygiene). During our interactions, I learned more about Intercity's philosophy: to foster mutual respect and closeness, bridging the gap between people through the best service possible. This is truly a wonderful thing. We are very grateful for the warm service provided by every staff member at Intercity 💕. We will definitely be back 😊💕. We stayed in a Premium King Room, forgot to take pictures though 📷… 😅"

The Jiyuan Inn was founded on January 8, 1912 (the first year of the Republic of China). The term "Jiyuan" comes from the "Old Stories of the Sun" written by Zhao Jishi, a famous scholar of the Qing Dynasty, and later, there was the famous literary work "Jiyuan Sent". The Jiyuan Inn, as a century-old and time-honored brand, echoes with it. It is truly the only remaining hotel in the Republic of China. The inn employs famous ancient garden masters to repair the old as before, promote cultural heritage, and highlight the past glory. It transforms the 2500 year old civilization and material achievements of reform and opening up of the ancient city into an exquisite meal for folk tourism, adding another beautiful scenery to the old city of Yangzhou, and presenting a period of travel time for tourists. Both are an organic fusion of ancient simplicity and modernity. Among them are the footprints of Zhu Ziqing, Mei Lanfang, Yu Dafu, Uncle Jiang Shangqing, and others who lived in the Republic of China. The hotel will also provide guests staying in Yangzhou with special "three knives" to provide services, such as breakfast buns at the century-old Fuchun Tea House, pedicure and cutting in the Yongning Spring bathroom, and haircuts at the Violet Barber Hall.

"This hotel is located right in the city center, offering excellent transportation links. It's very close to attractions like He Garden, Ge Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, and Caiyi Street. Being near Maopailou makes grabbing breakfast incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean, tidy, well-laid out, and fully equipped. The bathroom has a great wet/dry separation and no unpleasant smells, and the AC works perfectly. The owner is super friendly and helpful, sending a detailed Yangzhou food and drink guide via WeChat. This guide is comprehensive, covering transportation, distances to attractions, and even categorizes restaurants with map locations, making it very practical. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I highly recommend it!"

The inn is located in the Yangzhou old-town area, approximately 12 km (7 mi) from Yangzhou Railway Station. Popular attractions including Ge Garden, the ancient canal, Zhunti Temple and the Eight Eccentrics Memorial Hall are all nearby. The hotel's on-site restaurants serve both Chinese and Western cuisine.Well equipped for the demands of modern business, the hotel features a number of meeting rooms as well as a business center. In their spare time guests can relax in the teahouse, or with a book in the library. This Yangzhou hotel provides free in-room Wi-Fi access as well as free parking. Search for "Changle Inn Parking Lot" on the navigation. Before arrival, call 15358500893 to make an appointment for shuttle service and help you quickly check in.

"Environment: The environment at Changle Inn is beyond words. It's on par with any of the paid gardens in Yangzhou. The rooms here are split from individual courtyards. I arrived a bit late, and luckily there was a room available. The front desk staff was very thoughtful and upgraded my room type. Service: Since the inn is located on Dongguan Pedestrian Street, I wasn't sure where to tell the taxi to drop me off. I called the front desk, and they told me I could take a taxi to their private parking lot, and they would send a shuttle to pick us up, which would help us avoid the difficulty of dragging luggage on the cobblestone streets. What's even more impressive is that when I checked out today, I asked if they could also drop us off, and they readily agreed. Many hotels offer pick-up but not drop-off services, so this was excellent. Facilities: The rooms are a bit old, and the bed is hard. However, looking at the bathroom facilities, you can tell quality materials were used back in the day. Plus, there's individual floor heating, which pleasantly surprised me. Very good. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this stay. It's highly recommended."

Hotel near Jinghua City/Yangzhou Railway Station,Yangzhou
Shangri-La Yangzhou, which is the 35th hotel of Shangri-La Group in mainland China, also known as the first One-stop Experience of Yangzhou Three Knives Hotel in the city of Yangzhou. With 360 guestrooms in total, Shangri-La Yangzhou is built with the largest fitness center in the city, which covers an area of 2,000 square meters. The 248 square meters Gym is equipped with international first-class fitness brand equipment, 25 meters long indoor swimming pool with constant temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, steam bath, sauna, Jacuzzi, hot and cold whirlpool, outdoor tennis court, outdoor sunshine platform, SPA, hair beauty salon as well as foot massage leisure center. Café Xiu offers a wide range of delicacies at five open buffet counters, while Shang Palace presents traditional Huaiyang cuisine. In 2020, it was selected as one of the first batch “Model Shop of the World Gourmet City” in Yangzhou, won the Annual Restaurant of 2021 Golden Phoenix Tree Jiangzhe Region Restaurant Guide and 2023 Golden Phoenix Tree China Restaurant 2 Star Restaurant and 2024 Golden Phoenix Tree China Restaurant 1 Star Restaurant and 2021 Trip.com Gourmet - Platinum Restaurant.Awarded One Michelin Star Restaurant By The Michelin Guide Jiangsu 2025. The hotel also has 1500 square meters of astylar grand ballroom, 8 multi-function rooms and 1 meeting room.

"Overall, the hotel is okay, but the service definitely falls short. As a Michelin one-star restaurant, Shang Palace should ensure that at least one server is within the guest's line of sight and easily callable. Restaurants in Shanghai with a similar per-person cost to a Michelin one-star offer far superior service to Shang Palace. In comparable restaurants, there's always at least one staff member nearby, and some even lower-priced establishments manage this. My side plates were never changed during the meal (even when nearly full), and dirty dishes were left untouched unless I specifically called a waiter (and even then, only some were cleared). In Shanghai, restaurants of the same caliber and price point would clear plates without being asked, why would I need to call someone? Honestly, if the staff were more attentive with changing plates and clearing dishes, I wouldn't have to call them over. I hope the hotel addresses this. I believe these are basic expectations for a Michelin one-star restaurant and those in a similar price bracket (or higher). I'm not nitpicking; just come to Shanghai and experience it for yourself. However, the food was delicious. The stir-fried shredded eel (like soft-shelled turtle) in the couple's set menu was particularly good. The front desk staff also gave off a vibe of wanting to go home. The chef at breakfast, who was making fried eggs, was incredibly slow for two days in a row (not sure if it was the same person). They insisted on finishing whatever they were doing before making my eggs, and even then, my sunny-side-up eggs were overcooked. The cleaning staff came to clean my room while I was at breakfast. Shouldn't they wait until after breakfast hours? I hadn't put away any of my belongings. I can only hope that Shangri-La staff wouldn't steal my skincare products 😔, and the room wasn't even cleaned properly... what was the rush? I've stayed at several Shangri-La properties, and this one is the worst experience so far. That said, it's not terrible, and I still recommend it. I just hope the hotel improves!"

Hotel near The city center of Yangzhou,Yangzhou
Yinmo Yangzhou · Half-Arshen Garden Hotel: Encounter the Poetic Dwelling of Thousand-Year-Old Yangzhou "Flowers bloom in March and the Yangtze River flows to Yangzhou." When the poetic charm of spring spreads along the canal, the Hidden Lane Half-Meter Garden Hotel invites you to step into a dream of Jiangnan that transcends time and space. The hotel is rooted in the historical and cultural district north of the Ruan Family Ancestral Hall on Yuxian Street in Guangling District, Yangzhou City. This place was once the residence of Ruan Yuan, a three-time Grand Secretary, a first-rank official, and the Viceroy of Liangjiang during the reigns of Emperors Qianlong, Jiaqing, and Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty's literary circle, there were not many people who could establish a school or a sect. Ruan Yuan from Jiangsu Province was one of them. Ruan Yuan's ancestral home was in Yizheng, Jiangsu Province. He was born in a family of officials in Yangzhou in the 29th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign. His grandfather was a military scholar and served as a general in Hunan. His father entered the imperial academy at a young age and studied "Zuo's Spring and Autumn Annals", becoming a master of classical prose. His mother, Lin, also came from an official family and was well-versed in poetry and literature, with good cultivation. Growing up in such a family, Ruan Yuan was influenced by his family's learning from an early age and gradually became a renowned talent in both literature and martial arts. At the age of 25, Ruan Yuan passed the imperial examination and entered the officialdom. Ruan Yuan not only held high positions but was also a staunch guardian of Yangzhou's culture. He compiled "Jingji Zanggu" and edited and printed "Thirteen Classics with Commentaries and Sub-commentaries", his cultural achievements shining like stars in Yangzhou's cultural heritage. Mr. Ruan Yuan dedicated his life to cultural inheritance and academic research. The "Jingji Zanggu" he compiled collected the essence of ancient annotations and interpretations, providing an important basis for later generations to study classics. The "Thirteen Classics with Commentaries and Sub-commentaries" he edited and printed, with its rigorous academic attitude in correcting classics, became an important model for the study of classics. The "Huangqing Jingjie" he compiled and printed was a comprehensive collection of Qing Dynasty's research on classics. His academic philosophy of "seeking truth from facts and not believing without evidence" not only influenced the academic atmosphere of an era but also became a shining spiritual treasure in the Chinese cultural heritage. When children step into this hotel filled with historical charm, every brick under their feet and every painting on the walls tell stories of the past. Wandering through the ancient corridors, gently touching the carved window lattices, they can almost see Ruan Yuan's figure writing at his desk. Standing in front of the pavilions and terraces in the courtyard, feeling the elegance of the blue tiles and horse-head walls, the aesthetic genes of traditional culture are quietly integrated into their cognition. The hotel has carefully designed nearly a hundred guest rooms, retaining the charm of ancient architecture while integrating intelligent technology. Double-layer vacuum glass windows block out the noise, and voice assistants and electric curtains create a comfortable and convenient living environment for children. The hotel's garden-like design, with its well-arranged pavilions and lush greenery, is a natural classroom for children to explore nature and stimulate their imagination. Here, children can listen to the birds singing in the morning, observe the growth of plants, and gaze at the stars at night, feeling the vastness of the universe. In this way, they develop a love for nature and an exploratory spirit unconsciously. In addition, the hotel's superior location provides convenience for children's cultural studies. The Renfengli Ancient Street to the east, with its thousand-year-old market life and intangible cultural heritage skills, the nearby Wenchang Pavilion and Siwang Pavilion, which carry the city's memories, and the scenic spots such as Slender West Lake, He Garden, and Ge Garden within a 10-minute drive, perfectly blend the exquisite elegance of Jiangnan gardens with historical stories. Parents can take their children to visit these cultural sites along Ruan Yuan's footsteps, taste traditional delicacies in Dongguan Ancient Street, learn about commercial civilization in salt merchant residences, and appreciate the wisdom of ancient garden design in the gardens, making the knowledge in textbooks come alive. When young entrepreneurs and professionals step into this renovated ancestral home hotel, it's as if they have traveled through time to have a spiritual dialogue with this great man. The 11 independent ancient-style courtyards, with their black tiles and grey walls, exude the weight of history. The carved beams and painted pillars are engraved with the accumulation of culture. Wandering through them, the overhanging eaves and brackets above seem to reflect Ruan Yuan's broad vision; the winding corridors and paths beneath are like his wisdom in navigating complex situations. Each guest room in the hotel seamlessly blends traditional aesthetics with modern intelligence. Double-layer vacuum glass windows insulate you from the outside world, creating a quiet space for reflection; the entire house is equipped with smart devices, from voice assistants to smart bathrooms, empowering an efficient lifestyle with technology. And when you open the window, the pavilions, waterside terraces, blooming flowers and lush trees in the courtyard instantly transport you back to the era of scholars and literati discussing poetry and philosophy, allowing you to find a peaceful haven for your soul on the bustling path of striving, and gain clarity on your career direction through contemplation. The hotel's prime location offers a fertile ground for inspiration and creativity among the younger generation of strivers. To the east lies the bustling Renfengli Ancient Street, where traditional craftsmanship and modern creativity blend harmoniously. To the west is the bustling Wenchang Baihui, where commercial vitality and cultural heritage complement each other. Historical landmarks such as Wenchang Pavilion and Siwangting, within walking distance, bear witness to the thousand-year-old rise and fall of Yangzhou. Within a 10-minute drive are the Slender West Lake, He Garden, and Ge Garden, showcasing the ingenious garden-making wisdom and life philosophy of the ancients. These cultural treasures are like mirrors, reflecting the boundless possibilities of innovative thinking and inspiring you to break conventions and innovate in your career development. Living in the former residence of Ruan Yuan, you will be immersed in the atmospher

"This was my first time staying in a courtyard-style hotel, and I loved it! The location is really quiet at night, no noise at all. It's also super close to Slender West Lake and Guandong Street. If you don't have kids, there are shared electric scooters nearby, which would be perfect for exploring on a nice day! The room was quite spacious. If you have a lot of luggage, I'd recommend a ground-floor room, as our room was on the second floor and there's no elevator in this charming old-style hotel, so carrying bags was a bit of a workout. They also offer free-to-use washing machines and dryers. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay!"

"The Tang Style Garden Hotel is really out of the way; there's nowhere nearby to even buy water or cigarettes! However, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the service more than makes up for the location! From the moment we stepped out of the car, the Golden Key concierge, Xiao Tang, opened the door and handled our luggage – it was a fantastic first impression! The red-clad lady in the lobby, Xiao Wu, was warm and attentive, and Zhu Yulu, who checked us in, had a wonderfully sweet smile. The room's bedding was incredibly comfortable, and it came equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and Natura Bissé toiletries, which I absolutely loved! The towels were super soft and luxurious too! In the afternoon, I ordered a small cake and a coffee at the Western restaurant and watched the sunset – it was incredibly relaxing. There was also a beautiful water show in the evening, though the lake had a bit too much moss, which wasn't as aesthetically pleasing. All in all, both the hardware and software make this probably the best hotel in Yangzhou! I will definitely be back~ I hope they maintain their quality and continue to improve!"
