"The hotel boasts an excellent location, right on the main street, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Syntagma Square metro station. The older gentleman at the front desk initially seemed a bit discriminatory, assigning us a room right next to the elevator which also had an unpleasant odor. After we requested a change, he gave us a balcony room. The hotel features a rooftop bar where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and stunning night views of the Acropolis. Hotel guests also receive a 10% discount there."

"I stayed in a single room on floor 4. The room was clean and had a window. The windows opened. There was a new fridge in the room that was fantastic and I was able to have ice cold drinks. The bathroom was small but had everything I needed. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels and linens provided. The cleaner was very nice. There was enough room for all my bags, it was snug but very good for the price. I ate breakfast every morning. It was a really nice breakfast room. The breakfast is basic but everything is very fresh and nicely presented. Floor 1 had a strong scent of tobacco and I assumed it was the smoking floor. Floor 4 where I stayed was very quiet and I didn’t smell smoke at all. As a non smoking so traveller I have to have theses needs met! The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel is central it’s only a 20 min walk to all the Athens highlights. It’s a great walk too! Lots of interesting shops! The Archeological museum is only a short walk from the hotel so well placed. The train station main line is only 15 min walk too. There’s a great place to have a full dinner just round the corner for around 12 euros which is great value. I loved the shopping in the area. A very comfy stay I would definitely come back. As a solo female traveller I felt quite safe at the hotel. It is a basic clean hotel and at a budget price. The images attached are of the things mentioned including pictures of the room."

"The location is pretty good. There's a Chinese restaurant a few hundred meters away, and you can easily walk to the Acropolis from here. The hotel environment is decent, and the front desk staff was reasonably welcoming. Breakfast was also alright."

"I traveled to Athens for a business reason. The room was in the center, spacious near shops for coffee and food. It provides paid parking right next to it, so you don't have to look for a place. The service is amazing and the staff is very kind!! I would definitely choose it again!!!"

"The hotel's location is very convenient, with supermarkets, restaurants and shopping centers nearby. Opposite the hotel is the subway station exit, making it convenient to take luggage to the airport and pier. The front desk and breakfast staff are smiling and enthusiastic every day, and their English skills are high. The breakfast quality is also good, and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice every morning is particularly appetizing."

"The best hostel I've ever stayed in. I can't even call it a hostel, it's definitely a hotel. They even make you an egg dish for breakfast, and everything is delicious. The hostel is comfortable, stylish, modern, and most importantly, very clean. I stayed in another hostel in Athens, which was also good, but Ocupa is the best place for solo travelers. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!"

"This was my first time in Athens, and I chose this downtown hotel. The location is excellent, very close to the Acropolis and Syntagma Square, and it even offers free parking. The room was quite spacious and clean, and the breakfast was very rich and satisfying. However, the downside was that our room faced the street, and the noise from cars and motorcycles was too loud, disrupting our sleep. Another drawback was that the single bed in the triple room was right next to the double bed and very low, which made it uncomfortable."

"The location of the hotel is not too bad, quite near to the train station and about 15 minutes away from the Acropolis. Check-in and check-out were easy and the facilities were good. However, a major issue was that there were 2 blackouts throughout the evening, with the 2nd blackout lasting more than 7 hours from 2130H to 0500H the next morning. I had no choice but to sleep in my cold room as there was no heating, no lights and no electricity available. Overall, a rough night of sleep but if they can ensure that there are no blackouts, then this is easily a decent 4 star hotel."
