"LOVED staying at this hotel and would stay again if I were visiting Athens again. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Harris (the manager I think, he was constantly on reception or at the bar area) we were warmly welcomed. We arrived around 11am (check in was supposed to be 3pm but he allowed us to check into our room immediately - and also upgraded us to a beautiful room with a massive balcony. The room was gorgeous and modern and had many lovely amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste sets and lovely bathroom toiletries. There was a fridge with bottled water and the room had air conditioning and the biggest walk-in shower ever. So luxurious and modern. We were also able to store our cases after a late check out. "The hotel looks very beautiful in the pictures, but I was quite disappointed after checking in: First, the hotel faces the street, and the room I was given was a low-rise room facing the street. Later, the manager kindly moved me to a high-rise room facing the street, but it was still very noisy and I had to wear earplugs to sleep. The experience was very bad. This hotel was recommended as a design hotel, but this experience made people feel like a fast hotel; At the same time, the bathroom was also very small, and the quality of the toilet facilities was very average; There was no toilet paper in the room; The room was very small; The price I booked for this hotel was 1,500 per night. I stayed at the Grand Hyatt next door for only 2,000 per night, and the room area of this hotel was only half of the Grand Hyatt; the accommodation experience and breakfast experience of the Grand Hyatt were really much better. One night here really lowered the experience of the entire trip to Greece. Ctrip should do more research and be more fair when ranking hotels."

"This was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well. The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor. The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning. The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice."

"The room in this hotel is very small because the house is too old. This room is built on an ancient castle. There are glass on the floor of the hall and the door, and you can see the ruins of the underground castle. The room is not big but very clean. You can see the Acropolis at the breakfast on the rooftop. The elevator is very small and can only hold two people. The service is good and no tipping is required."

"Good breakfast and more choices, the front desk is more handsome and patient at any time to help me charge the power bank and find a conversion plug. It is also convenient to take a taxi when you are away from the subway station."

"The hotel is located in the heart of city centre. WeI took airport bus X95 from airport to the final stop at syntagma and vice versa. The bus fare was pretty cheap, 5.5 euros for each trip. But it took one hour to and from the airport. There was a cafe on 7 floor and the view was incredible. The room size was OK for one to two people. Just stayed for 2 nights to explore the city and it's surroundings."

"It is very classic and vintage inside the room! But hotel reception and doorman are very thoughtful and helpful on every guilde to everyone! Breakfast is amazing for traveller like me must wake up by good food’! So It is definitely a standard of 5 star and the location surround by great local cuisines with reasonable price! If you come for city walk for short! This hotel is the best of choice!"
