Ipoh Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"I researched a lot of hotels in Ipoh. Most hotels are spread out around the Ipoh “downtown”. If you’re arriving on a bus from KL, the bus terminal Amanjaya is 9km away. 20 mins on the local bus will take you to Terminal Kidd and it’s a 15 mins walk to M Boutique. I wouldn’t suggest this option if you have a lot of suitcases as the walk is on the main roads with cars and truck zipping past. Location is surrounded by industrial and car dealerships, but once arrived you’re surprised! They live up to their name - Boutique! They have been in that location for 13 years. Staff are friendly and helpful! Room (single room with no windows) was clean and comfortable and provided the amenities after a long day on the bus. And the hotel - SMELLED nice. Like a high end hotel. It was a nice treat if you’re a solo traveler looking for comfort on a budget. I tried to extend an extra night, however Trip were only showing double and twin rooms - out of my budget for a solo traveler. Asking at reception if the single room was available, they checked and I paid directly to hotel for a 2nd night. Your loss Trip! Hotel amenities were great. Hot shower, WiFi and air conditioning working. It’s a 10-15 min walk to the old city. When I arrived around 4 PM, a lot of things are already closed and quiet. Walking around in the dark back to the hotel was a little uneasy, but you can easily just arrange a car to GRAB. Highly recommended!"

"The property is a newly built bungalow just beside a hill and a temple. there are plenty of local foods around within a few minutes of walking distance. the check in check out is very simple, and the host and caretaker are friendly. since it's slightly further out from the city, the air is fresh especially so because we are beside one of the big hills. One downside: at night, there will be a low pitch humming, which I presume is the pump running for the water tanks. it didn't bother me, but soundproofing could be improved for the rooms. there's enough parking at the property or beside it for about 6-7 cars, so no issues there."

"The hotel has a beautiful view, convenient location, and a clean, fresh lobby. The shower pressure is strong, the room is spacious, and the service is excellent. Most importantly, it's dust-free, gets plenty of sunlight, and the mattress is soft."

"We stayed one night at Bedrock Hotel Ipoh and had a very pleasant experience. The room was very nice and huge, with plenty of space and everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. The location is convenient for exploring Ipoh and the Old Town area. The only small downside was the breakfast, which was just so-so. It was fine, but not the highlight of the stay. Overall, everything else was perfect and we would definitely stay here again."

"A deposit of RM100 is required upfront before checking in the hotel, and they only accept cash or card. If it's paid by card, they will only return your deposit in 2 week's time, something I find ridiculous. Luckily I paid in cash so it doesn't apply to me. Other than that, I find the facilities to be satisfactory, the complimentary tea and breakfast to be adequate and the hotel staff to be very courteous. The strongest point is actually the location, which is right next to a shopping mall."

"Had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were polite and friendly. The room had everything I needed and was very quiet, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. There is a famous dim sum restaurant nearby that’s worth trying."

"First time stay here , it’s great bed for good sleep, but to the top floor restaurants is disappointed. No one serve at counter and table non clean up even wait more than 5min , although we see the guys, finally we did ourselves…"

"The location very good. You can walk to many famous restaurants in Ipoh old town. All not more than ten minute, very convenient. House is very big and bed is comfortable. But the smell from the sewer is very strong and extremely unpleasant. It helped when you close the toilet’s door. Not much soundproof,you can hear other guests walking and chatting at the corridor. It can be quite noisy in the morning and night when people passing by. The design of the car park is a nightmare. It’s octagon shaped - really challenging when you drive the car up to level 7 in one go. The management team quite approachable. They will collect RM300 for damage deposit through credit card. And will return in 1-2 days after your check out. ( I haven’t checked if I received the return)."

"I am satisfied with everything in the hotel. No doubt one of the best serve for breakfast with roti canai, nasi lemak, pulut kuning, nasi impit with kuah kacang, laksa etc"
