"so far sangat puas hati duduk sini, wish i could stay here longer. bilik besar betul, lagi2 bila duduk sorang. bersih & kemas, cuma diorang provide 2 towel, 2-in-1 bodywash shampoo & 2 toilet paper roll. kawasan pun near pekan nak kemana semua dekat sangat tapi kawasan tak bising. also kena provide depo cash time check in & dapat balik bila check out. tilam semua ditukar baru by housekeeper. a worth place to stay if you’re travelling to ipoh ＜3"

"Excellent! A perfect 10/10 rating. Although the hotel is a converted shophouse, the service, ambiance, and cleanliness were surprisingly superb! The location is also very convenient, right in the city center, making it easy to grab bean sprout chicken or buy local specialties. It's about a 10-minute walk to 'Tong Sui Gai' (dessert street), and the coffee and food at the corner kopitiam behind the hotel are fantastic. The proprietress is very welcoming; she always greets guests from out of town warmly. Another thoughtful touch is that this type of hotel usually doesn't provide disposable slippers, but they do here – truly commendable! 🌟 I want to give special thanks and praise to the Chinese uncle and lady at the front desk; both were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. The lady at the front desk was especially accommodating when I needed a late checkout; even though the hotel was fully booked, she managed to extend it for half an hour. She also gave very practical advice when I had a question about using my computer. While I was using my computer in the lobby, I overheard her patiently and enthusiastically assisting a guest from Indonesia, even carefully explaining parking regulations to the guest who wasn't familiar with local rules. This kind of service attitude is truly rare nowadays, and I hope she continues to maintain her passion! 😊 I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Ipoh, but I won't recommend it to my family and friends, otherwise, it will become even harder to book! 😝 Still, I wish them prosperous business! 😍"

"Stayed there after a long and exhausting event. I chose it primarily as a place to shower, rest, sleep and write some reports, and it served that purpose well. Booking was a breeze, and the hotel is very easy to locate. They use a self-check-in kiosk which is quite straightforward, but the staff didn't hesitate to step in and assist when needed. I stayed in a no window room. Because there’s no window, there was a slightly damp smell when I first walked in. Luckily, I brought my own room spray, so it wasn't an issue for me, but it's something to keep in mind. The air conditioning isn't incredibly strong. If you prefer a freezing room, you might struggle, but as someone who isn't a huge fan of intense AC, it was perfectly acceptable to me. Also, the floors are mosaic tiles (no carpet), so I highly recommend bringing your own indoor slippers. On the bright side, the water pressure and hot water in the shower were excellent. There were also more than enough electrical sockets for two people to charge their devices. I didn't use the Wi-Fi, so I can't comment on that. There are water dispenser and iron with board at the corridor on my floor (3rd floor) While the hotel is surrounded by plenty of local restaurants, I opted to order GrabFood because I was too tired. It was super easy, I just asked the rider to leave the food at the lobby. Service: The staff on both the day and night shifts were incredibly helpful and friendly. They genuinely made the place feel welcoming, almost like home. Important Tip on Deposit: Make sure to bring RM50 cash for the security deposit. You can use a card, but the reception mentioned it takes a few days for the bank to release the refund, so cash is much more convenient. Overall, it’s a simple, no-frills hotel. If you just need a budget-friendly place to crash after a tiring day, it does the job. Thank you to the kind staff for looking after me!"

"On the 1st day check in and realise the water heater the button is on & hot. And the basic lower part was dripping, Only do the feedback next day due to the fact that we are checking in late. And during 5am start to hear the sound from next door The dim sum restaurant prepped all the stuff open and the rolling doors were so loud. I believe I will be staying next on the corner lot also the building is low only 2 floors. This sounds is until I'm check out every morning, the room number is 205. And cleaning up room while inhang the tag in the morning always I'm back didn't clean up, only imho out in the afternoon inform the receptionist then come back evening then done the cleaning. Overalls staff wS friendly, location was good. Only border is the low floor and sound"

"Cleanliness was below expectations as the bedsheets had stains. The location is good and convenient, close to the city area. Service was acceptable, but it was inconvenient that the hairdryer was not prepared in the room and had to be collected from the front desk. Amenities were decent with basic facilities provided, but it would be better if a refrigerator was included, in pantry also can but no. Overall, an average stay."

"I had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making my stay enjoyable from start to finish. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service was efficient and professional. I would especially like to commend the Indian girl at the Front Office for her honesty and integrity. I accidentally left my RM100 deposit at the reception counter, and she immediately informed me and made sure I got it back. Her honesty and excellent service truly impressed me and made my stay even more memorable. The hotel’s location is also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. "Had an absolutely flawless stay! The self-check-in process was incredibly smooth and fast—I received all the instructions well in advance, which made arrival a breeze. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and exactly as described. I loved the convenience of not having to wait at a front desk. Highly recommended! Exceptional customer service! When I had a minor issue with my room, the reception and maintenance teams were incredibly fast, polite, and resolved it immediately. It’s rare to find such responsive and caring staff nowadays. "Staying here was genuinely comfortable. The 24-hour reception made me feel secure, and all the staff were friendly (zero judgment vibes). The WiFi was fast, and the room was clean and tidy – even though it was an inner room without a window, it was still comfy for resting. The location is strategic, making it easy to get a Grab. It's suitable for solo travelers, couples, or backpackers who just need a place to crash; coming and going multiple times is totally fine. It's a budget stay but feels just like home. Recommended 👍✨"

"1. The common areas are incredibly spacious, both upstairs and downstairs, indoors and out. 2. The rooms are also huge; six people share one room with two bunk beds each, and there's plenty of space to move around inside. 3. There are many bathrooms, all very discreetly separated. 4. The decor has a charming old Nanyang style, feeling very classic and antique. 5. The water dispenser provides hot water quickly and consistently, and the tea bags are exceptionally good quality. 6. They even offer a complimentary breakfast. This is truly an amazing hostel! I'm going to miss it!"
