"The views are incredible, and the beach was perfect – lots of starfish and sea urchins. It's so peaceful here; you can really see the stars at night. The architecture also has a great local feel. My kids didn't want to leave. The amazing environment makes up for everything else."

"The owner is very accommodating. The facility is superb. Love the view, the place and very clean. I highly recommend the place. It's worth it. We even made a mistake but haven't heard anything from the owner, no additional charges as well. We are still communicating since we wanted to make sure everything's okay during our stay and to make sure we left the accommodation as it is. Worth to book again hopefully with our friends. P. "The hotel's location is a bit far from Alona (a 15-minute drive, 250 peso). I stayed here for two days and found it extremely inconvenient. There are tricycles right outside, but they're a bit more expensive than usual. The lack of nearby restaurants and stores was quite bothersome. The hotel staff were quite friendly. Rooms facing the pool can be noisy, especially on weekends with music playing until 10 PM. If that bothers you, I'd suggest avoiding those rooms. On my first night, I didn't close the bathroom door and there was a strong sewer smell. It improved the second day after I kept the door closed. Also, the hotel didn't provide slippers during my two-day stay."

"A small, cozy hotel with clean, well-maintained rooms and beautiful grounds. You can always grab a meal at the restaurant. The staff was incredibly helpful; they assisted us with booking a ferry, arranging transfers, and even drove us around to see the sights."

"location with access to the beach is great unfortunately the room available at that time was a standard room, too narrow for three beds to fit front office didn’t mention about extra amenities in the hotel like a live band in the evening or fireworks by the beach; we also missed to ask though premises has a very well manicured garden especially the green sprawling grass, the parking space is very limited to about 20 vehicles or less towels look shabby and off-white already, needing replacement in fairness, ala carte food is well prepared and tasty, though the complimentary buffet breakfast is just average sausage, fish, pork and eggs all in all, the Mexican/Mediterranean vibes of the place makes it unique from other resorts, especially that it has a Dino Park nestled around the well kept trees and gardens"

"our host was most delightful and this truely is a special place. This place is for the type of traveller that is wanting to emerse themselves in the visaya culture of the philipines. my plan was to spend just one night here and move on but between the peaceful serenity of this place and the amazing host Enid we ended up staying an extra three nights. we left early for an.island hopping tour and our host was up at 4.45 am to make us a lunchbox that we hadnt even requested. Bohol is still underdeveloped but that is the charm of an personality of this place. we rented a car and food outlets where in tagbilaran although there are some lovely local places that are on Panglao island just 5 minutes away. everyday spent at this resort was relaxing and charming. This area has suffered due to the pandemic and i woud encourage tourists to come back and especially to stay at sherwood resort . Thank you Enid and Ann for letting us have a resort of our own for a few days and the amazing hospitality"

"This place was one of the best. We had everything we needed in the house and more. Even shnorkels and life vests, we rented the car stright from the owner. They have pool cleanner on a dauly base. We will be back."
