"The room isn't small, and you get a free ride on the mini-train. The hotel offers complimentary kids' and adult activities; I particularly enjoyed the beach texture painting. The travel photography service was also decent. Breakfast was okay too, and my kids loved the clown making balloon animals during breakfast. Honestly, the Westin had more family-friendly offerings than I expected, with both an outdoor and an indoor heated kids' pool. The hotel's Sichuan restaurant was genuinely delicious. I went with low expectations as it was empty, but I was pleasantly surprised. A set meal for two adults and one child, priced at just over 400, could easily feed four people and wasn't expensive compared to outside restaurants. The ingredients were fresh, and the seasoning was just right. The open kitchen, where you could watch the chefs cook, was also a nice touch, and the service was excellent. Our butler, Mile, provided incredibly thoughtful service, sending detailed activity and dining information, and even arranged welcome fruits and small cakes. All our requests were promptly addressed, and our overall stay was very pleasant. I'll definitely come back again!"

"The hotel is relatively new, built in 2022, and is designed as a collection of buildings, each no more than four stories high, nestled among the tropical plants of Hainan at 18 degrees north latitude, with distant views of the sea. The rooms are also very stylish, making for a truly comfortable stay. You can participate in activities at the hotel or take a stroll along the beach nearby. There are two breakfast restaurants: one for Chinese breakfast and one for Western breakfast, so you can choose based on your preference or mood. The front desk staff, particularly a lovely lady named Quan Quan, was incredibly nice, patiently introducing the hotel and thoughtfully accommodating our requests. The hotel's Yu Restaurant cooks local Hainanese ingredients in a Cantonese style, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. We even left a phone at the Yu Restaurant during breakfast, and their staff kept it safe for us until we could retrieve it. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit."

"This is our third consecutive year bringing our kids to Le Méridien Shimei Bay, and it has never disappointed me; in fact, it keeps getting better and better, I'm extremely satisfied. The hairdryers in the rooms have been upgraded, and the large bathtub right by the entrance has finally been replaced. Kid-friendly: Beach slippers, indoor slippers, bathrobes, and toiletries are all readily available. I hope Le Méridien can consider providing pillows for children, as adult pillows are really not ideal for kids. The Squirrel Farm has welcomed many new small animals. On the first day, my child went to the farm and played for half a day before coming out, absolutely thrilled. The children's activities have also become much richer, they're truly thoughtful! Camucamu has also opened at Le Méridien, so you can make chocolate right at the hotel! Many thanks to James for all his help on this trip. It was a very enjoyable trip, and I look forward to coming back to Le Méridien next year."

"Glad I booked this room. The easy pool access was the highlight. We felt like we got a villa for a cheap price. The room and the pool were very clean. The service could have been better though. Like the afternoon tea at the lobby. We requested it to be delivered in the room but it was not allowed so we need to get it at the lobby. Second was the room service. There were many dishes that were not available in the menu and the staff made a mistake twice with our order. It took us an hour or so before we can finally eat our dinner. Overall, we would still want to stay here again."

"I took advantage of the off-season to vacation in Wanning and chose the newly opened Holiday Inn Resort Hotel on Shenzhou Peninsula. I only found out at check-in that it had just opened a little over a month ago, but the experience was fantastic! The rooms were spacious and bright, the bedding was comfortable, and the hotel pool was incredibly long and large – the water was especially clear on sunny days. The hotel is conveniently located, and the surrounding restaurants are all delicious. Don, the butler, provided exceptionally attentive and helpful service. I'll definitely come back!"

The butler contacts you on the day of check-in, and you just follow their directions to the guesthouse parking lot. They even turn on the A/C beforehand! As soon as we parked, the butler was already there with an electric scooter to pick us up, helping with all our luggage – so thoughtful! During our stay, the electric scooter was always available to take us to town, the bar street, and the beach, which was incredibly convenient. Any questions we had were answered instantly, which was a nice touch. The guesthouse's views are simply unbeatable. Everything is laid out beautifully, and every little scene is picture-perfect. The combination of the pool's color, the architecture, and the sky's hue is just stunning. The room facilities are excellent too – clean and hygienic, with wonderfully soft and high-quality towels and bathrobes.

The scenery is so beautiful that it is suffocating. The hundred acres of rice fields are the soul. The scenery is different in four seasons, so I come here four or five times a year! The white house complex in southern France is a work of art in itself. There is a scene at every step, and I can't stop taking pictures. The oil painting terrace, the rice field swing, the wishing pool, the hot spring pool... Every point hits my aesthetic! It is also very comfortable to stay. The bedding is a guarantee of sleep. Those who are familiar with the bed will not want to get up after lying down here! The washing and care are also very healing. It smells of lavender and has a full sense of quality. The room is clean and spacious, and there is a rice field view outside the window~ Soaking in the hot spring to watch the sunset, dazed on the rice field swing, watching movies under the starry sky, enjoying food in the wooden house restaurant... GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the housekeeper personally came to pick us up. The service was very intimate and water and toiletries were prepared. The view from the residence is really beautiful. You can surf downstairs. There is also a shooting place for the TV drama Xiahua. There are also amusement facilities downstairs. Unfortunately, these two days are cloudy, but fortunately, this trip time is short. I will choose here next time.

The small courtyard and public area outside are also large. The location is relatively central in the village, and it is very convenient for breakfast and noodles. The door is slightly not soundproof, and it is noisy at 8 or 9 o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, it is quiet outside after 10 o'clock. The overall feeling is great and the price is not expensive.

GGuest UserI went to Hainan with my friends and booked a hotel. My friend stayed in the Haiya Big Bed. You can see the sea and lighthouse from the balcony. It was so beautiful that I couldn’t help myself and took a photo on the balcony. It was so beautiful that it surpassed the photo. Sure enough, you get what you pay for😭The garden view cannot see the sea. There are cruise ships out to sea right in front of the hotel. You must go out to sea, it’s super cool. There are really many swimming pools in the hotel. There is an infinity swimming pool, which is very photogenic. You can take photos of the lighthouse. It is beautiful to take pictures of. You must go to take photos and check in during the day. The lighthouse is dark at night and cannot be seen. We had breakfast at the hotel the next morning. There were really many types of breakfast. There are also Western and Chinese food. Salad cakes are available. I like the freshly cooked noodles very much, it suits my taste very much. Later, we went to the lighthouse to check in. After all, it was the filming location of her missing photo. Taking photos is also very impressive. The hotel is not far from the lighthouse, and it takes more than ten minutes to get there by taxi. It's very comfortable to rent a car and enjoy the scenery slowly. On the way, we stopped by the Shenzhou Peninsula. I love hh photos so much. The wind is really strong over there, so be sure to fix your hair to take photos📷 I also saw my hotel opposite the lighthouse, it was so beautiful. Next time you come, you must stay in a room with a view of the sea😭 The view is really beautiful! The hotel service is really good. My room is not far from the lobby. The waiter also drove me to help me with my luggage. There are also staff changing hotel supplies every day. It’s really thoughtful💗 I even brought some specialties when I went back, they were really delicious😋 I’ll come back next time💃

KKelkooLocation: ONLY book if you are coming with your own car. Accommodation is not easily accessible by foot especially if you are arriving at night. All food places at least 5-10 min DRIVE. However, it is an interesting location as it is not close to the sea, so you get to experience another side of Hainan’s environment. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent. Service: Was just okay - not the most helpful unless you ask questions. For example, the SUPs have to be booked ahead so their trainer is scheduled to come - which was not mentioned. So if you are only staying for one day, make sure you tell them ahead. Cleanliness: Since it is a humid environment, mould will likely appear. The tent we were in had a lot of mould on many of the inner walls. There was an attempt at simply covering it but these tents should be cleaned and treated. Amenities: the tents definitely are definitely more fancy than normal tents - ours had a shower and AC. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of activities and food availability. I think if you are an accommodation that is difficult to access - at least food/drinks options should be provided.
