"The Bee farm is built with a rustic look and looks great and different, loved it. But the rooms look very old and outdated and needs refurbishment, especially the bathroom. Also a lot of light pollution into the room from the big window in the door. Even though the restaurant serve organic grown foods, I did find the food bland and did expect better flavoured dishes. Did find it strange they added parmesan on a vegetarian dish... A great concept and can be done better with a few upgrades."

"Everything is just great! We just fell in love with this place, with a large green yard, a pond, a swimming pool. We planned to stay here for 2 days, but ended up staying for a week and still don't want to leave! Everything is clean and wonderful, the service is excellent! Cool water, they put aromatic sticks around the yard if mosquitoes appear. They called and agreed on bikes with a discount. So we are very happy."

"What an amazing find! Location is quiet with good rooms and lots to do there. The views from the restaurant are fantastic and the food is also excellent. The breakfast is nice and we had an early check out at 4am and they even left a breakfast for us to take without us asking which was a lovely touch! The shop is great with local gifts made on site and the coconut ice cream is so so so good (spicy ginger especially amazing)! The rooms are a great size and comfy with good AC. Hot water wasn’t great but after a day in the sun a colder shower was welcome. The only thing lacking here is a beach but there are drivers outside the farm to take you around or they can organise a trip/ scooter rental. In this price range, this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. Will definitely be back. Thank you"

"I recently stayed at the E.L. Westensee Resort in Panglao, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The resort itself is very cozy and charming. I think part of its charm comes from the fact that it has a small number of rooms, which creates a quiet and intimate atmosphere. The rooms were spotlessly clean and, importantly for the tropics, completely free of any unpleasant local smells. The on-site restaurant also served delicious food, which was very convenient. However, what truly sets this place apart is the staff, and in particular, a young lady named Montessa who works at the reception. She is an absolute gem! Montessa went above and beyond to help us with literally everything. She assisted us with arranging transfers, recommending restaurants, and booking our ferry tickets. No request was too small or too difficult. I have traveled extensively in Thailand and Vietnam, and I can honestly say I have never encountered staff as genuinely kind and helpful as Montessa. In a very short time, she made us feel so welcome that she felt like a friend we were sad to say goodbye to. Because of the beautiful atmosphere of the resort and especially because of Montessa's outstanding service, I would love to stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"A beautiful, truly cozy and quiet hotel. Unfortunately, it's a bit out of the way, but you can rent a scooter. There are only a few very small shops nearby selling the bare essentials. The beach next to the hotel is unfortunately very littered and dirty, but that's not the hotel's fault. Breakfast was very tasty, but since you could only choose one dish from the menu, you might not go hungry. We ate dinner there once, and it was okay, but rather expensive. The prices for scooter rental and a day trip were also quite high compared to other hotels. There's also a small pool, which we didn't use because the water was very murky throughout our stay. Overall, though, we felt comfortable there, as the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful."
