"Our stay at the hotel had many positive aspects, but unfortunately, the overall experience was not satisfactory. Let me start with the good points: the rooms were clean, bright, and beautifully designed. The breakfast was excellent, and the facilities—such as the gym, kids' club, spa, and swimming pools—were impressive. The location is also amazing. However, two major issues overshadowed these positives and would prevent me from returning. Events and Weddings: During our 3-night stay, events disrupted our experience on 2 nights. On the first day, the rooftop infinity pool was closed to all hotel guests due to a private event. It felt unfair—having a beautiful pool but being unable to use it because it was rented out to someone else. On the third day, half of the beach area was occupied by a wedding setup, and loud music could be heard from our room until 10 PM. This made it impossible to relax on the balcony or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a 5-star resort. Instead, it felt like being at a nightclub. The noise was particularly frustrating because we were traveling with a 2.5-year-old child who usually goes to bed at 8:30 PM but couldn’t sleep until 10 PM due to the loud music. After the wedding ended at 10 PM, the staff began cleaning and moving equipment back to the building, creating significant noise until 11:45 PM. This happened repeatedly, with loud sounds every 15 minutes (Unfortunately, I cannot upload videos to give an idea of the noise experience due to size limitations, but I’ve included screenshots below). For a hotel charging over $300 per night, this level of disturbance is unacceptable. Service Speed and Quality: The service was consistently slow and inconsistent. Simple requests, like asking for ice to be delivered to our room, took up to an hour. At the beach restaurant, it took 15-20 minutes just to receive a menu, even after asking multiple times. There were also mix-ups, such as being brought a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc instead of the Chardonnay we ordered. While the hotel has many great features, the lack of consideration for guests during events and the poor service quality significantly impacted our experience. For the price paid, we expected much better."

"The second time I stayed at Exploration. It is a worry-free choice to stay at Exploration in Boracay. It is located in S1, which is relatively quiet, the beach quality is also good, and there is free airport pick-up and drop-off. In addition, the attitude of every service staff I met is super nice~ Although the swimming pool is not big, there is a hot spring pool next to it, and it is still very comfortable to soak in it; there are not many types of breakfast, and the more popular dishes are not available if you go too late; the room is quite large, but if you are sensitive to light, remember to bring an eye mask, because the room uses roller blinds, which do not block light and leak light seriously, so you don’t sleep well, and you are very tired when you go to bed late and wake up early. The shower water pressure is sufficient, which is great~ After all, it is important to take a comfortable hot bath. If the room can be replaced with blackout curtains, I think I will choose Exploration again when I go to Boracay next time."

"I enjoyed my stay in Henann Regency Resort and Spa. Hassle free from the airport to hotel service. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. Their buffet was so good as well. I highly recommend this hotel when going to Boracay. See you again on Jan 2026!"

"We stayed in Movenpick for one whole week following the recommendation from a friend who stayed there twice already when she traveled to Boracay, and on the whole, we didn’t regret this choice either. We’ll share some positive things first, then negative. It was our first time to visit the island, and we knew that the White Beach area is always crowded, full of beggars and people offering you to go sailing or try out massage at their salon literally every five steps which is quite annoying. On the contrary, Movenpick is a quiet and secluded place where you can enjoy your vacations at the fullest. The prices in the resort restaurants are almost the same as in the White Beach cafes, maybe a little higher, but the food is way more delicious (we especially loved the dishes in Brezza). We didn’t expect it to be so good after reading some negative reviews on Ctrip, so it was a nice surprise. The breakfast was also amazing, with a variety of options and outstanding service (and they do have black coffee, so don’t trust those who mention that there is no coffee at the breakfast buffet). But what impressed us most was a very warm and friendly attitude of all staff to every single guest. They always approached us with a big smile, and after several days of staying, they could even remember our cocktail preferences at daily Happy Hour! Nice little sweet treats at Chocolate hour, live music from 6pm daily, plenty of space and activities offered at the resort - we loved it a lot. However, there are some tiny things you must know before booking. Half of the swimming pool might be closed for maintenance, which is totally understandable yet isn’t what you expect when choosing this hotel (neither it is convenient nor pleasant to see). Although the rooms are comfortable and clean, you can see they haven’t been renovated for a while (AC/fridge are quite noisy, some things like shower gel dispenser might get broken easily - but they can be replaced at once if you inform the hotel). Last, if you are unlucky with neighbours (especially if there’s a family with an infant in the room one floor above yours), then you might enjoy terrible noise all the day as the rooms are not soundproof. We couldn’t sleep for 2 nights, and only on the 3rd night we were offered a bigger room for sleeping overnight (but the AC was loud there, not to mention some weird sounds outside in the middle of the night - could be an electricity generator or something else - that woke us up and we had to move back to our main room with the hope that our neighbours were fast asleep). In a word, it is recommended to bring some earplugs and not hesitate to inform the receptionists about any problem you have at once and ask for an immediate solution. Generally speaking, if we ever decide to return to Boracay for vacations, it’s highly likely we will choose Movenpick for the whole stay time again."

"The land transfer was smooth, but unfortunately, the check-in time took longer than promised. One of the front desk staff mentioned our room would be available by 1 PM, but it wasn’t until 2:30 PM that we could check into one room. We then had to wait another 30 minutes before the other room was ready. Additionally, the second room had an unpleasant “kulob” smell, unlike the first room. It’s disappointing that the check-in was the only issue, as everything else was fine."

"Amazing service at this hotel, the staff go above and beyond at every step to help you, and they were extremely polite and friendly the whole stay. The rooms were light and spacious, but I would recommend garden view over the pool view because of a loud fire show that happens poolside every evening at around 8pm. The hotel undersold it's proximity to the beach, it is less than 5 minutes from hotel to the water, and they have a great towel system where you can borrow from the hotel and take it with you. They also have sunbeds on the beach reserved just for hotel guests. The hotel itself has 4 pools, 2 of which are connected to rooms. One pool has the bar attached, and the final pool at the end closest to the beach is quiet (and with less children!) Plenty of sunbeds available with comfortable mats, tables, and umbrellas. The only part of the stay that was underwhelming was the food - the area that the hotel has made for the restaurant is open-air, and so the pastries were crawling with flies every morning. It was also very busy every day due to limited space, and there weren't a lot of options."
