"It may happen, but when I arrived around 18:30, there was no light at the entrance and it was very dark. There was a step, so I thought it would be a little dangerous for the elderly."

A hot spring ryokan with the atmosphere of the Kaga area, overlooking the Kakusenkei Gorge, the most beautiful valley in the Hokuriku region. Featured in the Michelin Guide, our ryokan offers a taste of the culture and history of Kaga, an old castle town that produced one million koku of rice, with nightly performances of traditional Yamanaka-bushi songs and dances and an interior that incorporates traditional crafts such as Kaga Yuzen dyeing, Yamanaka lacquerware, Kutani pottery, and Kaga mizuhiki decoration. Complimentary services such as homemade pancakes, Kaga pudding, coffee, Kaga stem tea, beer after bathing, carefully selected colorful yukata, and a private bath will add color to your stay. At Kissho Spa, one of the largest spas in the Hokuriku region, you can enjoy an elegant moment with treatments using local ingredients such as gold and silver leaf. For dinner, enjoy a kaiseki cuisine or teppanyaki course with seasonal ingredients served in Kutani ware or Yamanaka lacquerware dishes. You will be satisfied with freshly fried tempura and traditional Kaga cuisine with fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan such as snow crab, sweet shrimp, rosy sea bass, and Kaga vegetables, along with carefully selected local sake. Our shop offers a wide range of popular souvenirs. Kissho Yamanaka also offers special services for guests staying consecutive nights as well as for guests celebrating anniversaries such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries. We promise you a stay immersed in hot spring and Japanese style, with beautiful mountain stream views from the guest rooms, lobby lounge, and outdoor baths, and a rich natural environment that changes with the seasons, such as cherry blossoms, fresh green, moon viewing, autumn leaves, and snow-covered winter scenery. We offer a free shuttle service with 11 daily departures, which takes about 20 minutes from Kaga Onsen Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line and 30 minutes from Komatsu Airport. You can also take a local bus from the nearby bus terminal to Eiheiji Temple, the famous main temple of the Zen sect (about 50 minutes).

"In the 2025 cherry blossom season, the first five hotels in Kyoto, Japan and the Hokuriku region were all rated poorly, either dirty or noisy. Finally, there is a hotel with all 5-star reviews. You must make an appointment for the transportation from Kaga Onsen to the hotel at least one day in advance on your own official website or ask Ctrip. I made an appointment with Ctrip two days in advance. I like the customer service. Follow the instructions at the south gate of Kaga Onsen Station to see the hotel's car. The timetable is shown in the last photo. The driver is courteous and considerate. On the way, there will be a brief introduction to the Buddha statue, snow mountain, famous product Mantou Niangniang, etc. It takes 25 minutes to arrive at the hotel. It feels like home. The staff kneels down to serve. Now the process is done quickly. The corner Western-style room I booked is very good to live in. The sun is bright and the size is just right. The hotel is generous and the coffee and tea bar is available 24 hours a day. The quality is excellent. It is so thoughtful. You can choose a Kutani yaki tea cup. The latte is very delicious. The afternoon tea teppanyaki restaurant makes fresh pancakes. At 4 pm, five kinds of sweet cocktails are provided for happy hour. They are prepared by the staff and are delicious. Pudding is provided at 8 pm. There is a geisha performance at 8:45 Yamanaka Festival. A plate of snacks is also delicious in the morning. There is a row of sake for dinner. I didn’t pay attention to whether it is a self-service sake or free. I think this price and quality are above average. Breakfast is also full of sincerity and free sake is provided. The staff in the restaurant are very warm and thoughtful. My room does not have a private bath. When you check in, you will be asked to choose a private bath for 50 minutes. The large bath is also very good. You can also soak in the foot bath when you are free. I really can’t find any fault with this cost performance. I stayed in the expensive hotel next to it, Huazi, the next day. There was nothing except two bottles of water, a bag of coffee and a bag of stick tea. There was a welcome tea, but no other activities or food. Jixiangting is really serious about running a hotel. The only thing is that sometimes there is a faint smell of sewage in the hotel. In addition, there are a lot of Hong Kong tour groups staying there, and they talk very loudly."

"The newly opened hotel after refurbishment, so it looks very new, the hot springs are very interesting, the outdoor hot springs are for mixed men and women, and there are many small pools. Dinner was very good, breakfast was too Japanese and I was a bit unaccustomed to Japanese pickles. We also ran into a female manager this time, who was a Chinese. She enthusiastically escorted us to the station and explained to the bus driver our need to go to Yongping Temple temporarily. The hotel is very close to Hexian River."

Our quiet inn is hidden, secluded away in the woods. Begin your journey with us.

"Our stay in Morino Sumika was wonderful. This hotel is probably one the best Hotel (Ryokan) We’ve ever stayed in Japan. We are so impressed with their service. The staffs are polite and responsive even though language barrier. We stayed in a room with open air bath type with balcony looking at the slope garden and hotel itself. The architecture is stunningly beautiful. Room are spacious and bigger than we had expected. The room layout is great. We are so amazed with the hotel facility and everything in the hotel that we want to spend much more time at the hotel rather than going out. The hotel is about 5 km away from Kagaonsen Station in the area called Yamashiro Onsen. They offer shuttle service which we contact them via email. Yamashiro Onsen is very nice and calm. FYI… Kagaonsen Station is 20 minutes travel from Kanazawa by Hokuriku Shinkansen… very convenience.."

"The Kyoto hotels I booked in the 2025 cherry blossom season are almost all bad reviews. The business is good and the service is poor. The hotels in the Kaga area of Hokkai are satisfied. The Kaga Hot Spring Station has a Shinkansen transportation. Each hotel has a free pick-up and drop-off station service. Shanzhong Hot Spring Jixiang Pavilion is very cost-effective and the service is warm and generous. The flower purple aesthetic taste next to the online master design is quiet and elegant. You can reach Shandai Hot Spring by taxi in 15 minutes. The most wise thing is that you don't choose Jiejiahe to choose the barren house. 4.9 The score is worthy of the name, and the score is deducted. I have no lights on this bedside table. I have to get up and turn off the lights. Check in at 2 pm without early check-in. If you have saved your luggage, you can go to the town to visit the hot springs in the mountains. There are grass grasses where Lushan people have lived. He should have been recognized at that time, help the old shops carve the signboards, and learn Jiugu roasting technology. , Eating food and soaking in hot springs. Taotao has collected a lot of Lushan people's works and has a display room. Unfortunately, I stayed on Monday or closed for other reasons. Entering Taotao is a beautiful enjoyment. Lushan people, Noguchi Yong, Nordic furniture, and Jiugu Yakuza can be immersed in the experience. The service is a traditional hot spring old shop style, with a very high standard, even the young staff are careful and very responsible. The hot spring is very good, and the food is tasteful and elegant. The indoor full tatami includes elevators, artworks can be seen everywhere, there is no unpleasant tatami mat smell, no need to sleep on the ground, air conditioning is very good heating. The hotel can receive children. I stayed in a family of three and it was a little noisy at night. I still want to stay again."

"Stay in the 105 pine green of the pine wind, and there is a small open-air hot spring bath in the room. You can choose two bathrobes to wear in the store, and the bathrobe colors are very good. The dinner was very rich, but the cold dishes were a bit too much, which was a bit difficult for the Chinese to adapt. There are two public hot spring baths, men and women will exchange in the morning and evening, and the open-air hot springs on the first floor are particularly cool at night."

"🍶 Forget the Worry Suite: The Ecstasy Crab Night of Time Finally stepped into this building, founded in 1887, transformed from a high-end pavilion. The heritage of the century-old style is needless to say, and the air is filled with the quietness of history and the persistence of food. Sure enough, the cuisine is the true soul here. The chef presented us with a delicate feast with the freshest ingredients of the season. The main character tonight is the luxurious crab feast! The richness of the incense crab was a surprise, but when we bought two Canon crabs for 50,000 yen on the table, I knew it was the climax. The sweet and full meat made every mouthful intoxicating. Food, wine, and laughter from close friends around us fixed the night together. In the building, we are not only staying, we are enjoying a super enjoyable soul feast that is refined by time."
