"First of all, we received a very warm welcome. Good thing is the view is stunning at this price. Ok, the bad thing is the wifi is non-existing. Breakfast you might need to queue up for 15-20 mins to be seated, it’s not that the tables are not enough, it’s just the recover is too slow. During the midnight you couldn’t open the windows due to the noise from the car racing in the street almost the whole night. You could walk to the town but not close."

"The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming every day, and the breakfast team always greeted us with a friendly smile. Besides the standard breakfast items, they also offered several egg dishes, which was a nice touch. Our room was super comfortable, and the bed was so plush we just melted into sleep. We also had turn-down service every day, complete with two chocolates! We'd informed them beforehand that we were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine – such a thoughtful gesture! You won't regret choosing this hotel if you're visiting Porto."

"Very good hotel, breakfast is very good, good service, the mattress is spectacular. The worst thing is the Spa, for a Spa the water was cold, some other people who were there complained about the same thing. Far from the center, you need a car (but we already knew that)"

"This was not the first time I've been at this hotel. It's a nice place to spend a few nights. The breakfast food is good in terms of variety and the staff is nice and helpful. The spa is always a pleasant place for you to relax. However, the buttons of the jets don't work properly, specially the ones that are only accessible when you are in the pool, which can be frustrating if you like to use them and won't be able to. This time, the sauna was out of work, as well, but they were fixing it. They didn't really seem worried about fixing the jets' buttons, though... When I was at the hotel last year, they weren't already working properly, but now I couldn't even get them to work. The ones that would work, wouldn't be active for a long time after you pressed on them. In other Spas, they usually work for a few minutes when you turn them on. In this one, they would only be active for about 20/30 seconds at a time. The room I stayed in, had a different display. You would go through a corridor with the bathroom at the front and on the left you had the sleeping area. I liked it because it would conceal the noises coming from the outside a bit better. All rooms have a balcony, but something that feels that is always missing are a couple of chairs and a table. The balcony becomes useless without them! I couldn't open the bathroom door well (not even in 90 degrees in relation to the entrance) because it would bump on the bidet. Also, the shower and glass covering the bathtub seemed to be at the wrong wall because it was inevitable to wet the entire toilet when you showered. The corners were a bit dusty and the bathroom bin hasn't been changed from the previous guest. I think the cleanliness can be improved."

"We had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay. One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel. The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal. Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Impeccable service and the staff is intelligent and beyond professional. I’d say they were my favorite part of the stay. I loved the design and luxurious feel of the hotel, as well. The rooms are on the small side in Portugal but this hotel is of high quality and extremely clean. The sauna, steam room, and are pool are incredibly beautiful. Great location. Wonderful breakfast. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was always quiet. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I’d love to know who developed the hotel. One thing that I wish I had been told is that there was a rooftop. No one mentioned this at check-in and I just saw it in another post on Google."

"Hotel is nice. Clean and spacious room. Comfy beds Absolutely worth the price. Location may not be near the touristic places but ain't a far drive with Uber. A supermarket just beside the hotel is terrific. greeted us with a complimentary champagne at their top floor lounge with a scenic view of Porto."

"Front desk not as helpful as expected. Asked them to help me book dinners, never let me know if they manage to book for me. I was early due to change of flight. Requested for early check then says she will inform me so I waited. She didn’t make sure I didn’t wait too long. So I went for a walk and requested to text me when room is ready. She didn’t do that too. So service is not great"

"The Hotel is a true 5 star. Unbeatable location facing the sea. The staff very professional. They are aware of everything but you don't know. Period palace with a new part very well integrated. Decoration with personality. Exceptional value for money. For me, the best in Porto. Excellent breakfast."
