"I spent a fantastic time in JAM Porto. Staff were all very friendly and helped a lot to decide the tourist destination. As it offered, I was able to concentrate on working and writing my chapters. 20mins walking distance to downtown; but you will enjoy your neighbourhoods - there are a very and local vibe-cozy cafe, pub, and tapas bar I went everyday. Breakfast was very generous!"

"Nice clean comfortable hotel rooms. Shame that they accommodate too many children. In all fairness I was there for 3 nights the first 2 very good but on the last night, they must of put all the children on my floor. These children are at an age were they simply don't have the brain capacity to think. They were banging doors making noise till around 5 in the morning thus meaning I struggled to sleep. I did call down to reception to notify them earlier in the evening, to state I believe there is going to be a problem with these children through the night, obviously nothing was done because the noise continued. I understand that it's all about filling up the rooms, because it's more money for the hotel but if they are going to have youngsters, maybe it should just be an hotel for them only . In the future for future guests these children need supervision, this is surely the only way this would work if you are too continue to accommodate all different age groups."

"Great location! And that's about it for the positives! No slippers, and around 8 PM, the reception was completely deserted and the main door was locked! Guests couldn't get back in, and those inside were locked in! It was terrifying! After waiting 15 minutes, still no one opened the door. When someone finally rushed down to open it, they didn't apologize to any of the guests and even gave us dirty looks! They didn't even explain why we were locked in! Absolutely terrible! The local staff were okay, but the European staff really lacked any service awareness."

"We really liked the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent. It was located 5–7 minutes away on foot from two metro stations. There’s a grocery store nearby. All sorts of cafes. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the main streets. The area is very quiet. We had a comfortable stay."
