"The Deevana Plaza Krabi Ao Nang has a great location, making it easy to explore the area. The lobby is welcoming and nicely designed, and the pool area is clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
However, there were several downsides that made the experience less enjoyable. The bathroom in our room was very old and outdated, with poor drainage that caused the shower to flood. The grout was dirty, and the bathroom itself was quite dark, making it feel uninviting.
Another issue was the cleanliness in the hallways—room service trays and leftover food were left sitting out for days without being cleared, which wasn’t pleasant to see. The hotel appears to be divided into two sections, with one part seeming much older and clearly in need of renovation.
One of the most concerning aspects was the lack of security. It was surprisingly easy for anyone not staying at the hotel to enter and go directly to the rooms, which made us feel quite unsafe.
Overall, while the location and staff were positives, the outdated facilities, cleanliness issues, and security concerns would make me think twice before staying here again."

"The location of the hotel was excellent — just a short walk from the beach, a 7/11 store, restaurants, and entertainment options. However, our stay had several downsides.
When we arrived, there was no electricity until 5:00 PM, which meant no Wi-Fi and no hot water — quite inconvenient after traveling. We stayed in a private bungalow with a king-size bed, which turned out to be two single beds pushed together. Unfortunately, the beds kept sliding apart, and we had to constantly move them back together.
The air conditioner had a broken cover that was taped in place, directing airflow straight onto the bed with no way to adjust it. The ventilation was also extremely dirty and dusty, making the air inside the room heavy, humid, and musty. We also saw two cockroaches in the bathroom, which was very unpleasant.
Despite these issues, room service came every day with two bottles of water provided. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in is officially at 2:00 PM, but although we arrived early, they allowed us to check in before that time.
Overall, the location and staff were great, but the room conditions left a lot to be desired."

"I really loved it here. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was really good, not a lot choices but everything was tasty. I really loved the fact that the manager walked around and talked to guests about their stay. Pool was huge and we loved it. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Location was quite distant but they offered a free shuttle rides to main street and beach. One thing: i didn’t like that the fishes were fed with bread by the hotel employees, buy them some fish feed :)"

"The bungalow was a good size and had a nice bath. But it needed some refurbishing and it was a long walk from the front of the hotel, in fact almost by the East Beach. And there are no hotel facilities by the East Beach. The walk included a long stretch with aircon units and little shade (see the photo).
The buffet breakfast was very good. stated prices for food and drink had 17% added to them for tax and service."

"Pleasantly surprised to get a room upgrade from Superior to Duluxe room (perhaps some of the Superior rooms were under maintenance and the rest were fully taken during my stay). The differences in rooms are the latter has a bath tub plus a couple of perks like coffee-brewing machine and blue-tooth sound bar to listen to your music. There are 2 wings in the hotel: (1) rooms in the 4 and 5-storey main buildings are slightly older but I find that the views are better here: they face blue-tiled pools, lush garden or distant seaview (2) rooms in the new 3-storey building have newer, nicer furnishings but hardly any view. These newer rooms have view of the pool with tiles in a horrifying shade of neon green (hahaha, depends on your taste!) that reminds me of algae and moss. So if you prefer very nice/new room interior, get room in the new wing; if you prefer nice varied balcony views, get room in the main wings.
Overall, this hotel met all my expectations: excellent location, calm environment, overall room cleanliness and amenities, varied and delicious breakfast and very prompt and helpful services from the staff. So glad I booked this hotel!"

"The hotel has a great location! Away from the crowdy main street but not more than 10 min walk. Great view from the rooftop pool. It's truly amazing. Breakfast is basic. Could be better. Coffee is not really a coffee. It is served from an iron canister. I really don't understand hotels who don't invest in a good coffee machine. The hotel needs some refreshing. But it is close to the beach, has a great rooftop pool, stuff is very friendly, and the price is very reasonable."

SStitchieThe overall atmosphere of the place gives off a relaxing, chill resort vibe. The lobby was welcoming, and the reception staff were all very friendly. You’ll definitely feel a touch of nature throughout the stay. However, do note that certain areas could use a bit of maintenance, and the rooms aren't soundproof—you might hear birds or even the toilet flushing from nearby rooms at night.
The view is lovely, though the sea view was blocked by trees, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the service team was excellent—warm, attentive, and cheerful. Honestly, this is the kind of resort where the people shine more than the facilities. Well done to all the staff!

MMickey PWe had a relaxing stay. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a refreshing matoom drink as our welcome drink. Our booked room is not yet ready upon check-in but luckily we received free upgrade and early check-in from front desk which is nice. The view from the room is outstanding. Some of room amenities is not in the room and has to be requested through the app or call front desk which is inconvenient. Wifi is not working sometimes I have to use my own data. Breakfast is a buffet and offer variety of choices. Swimming pool looks nice but we have no time to use it. After check-out they even allowed us to take a quick shower at the swimming pool area and a toilet to change our clothes before our flight. Recommend

JjballWe booked this room for our two children. Upon check-in, we requested that our rooms be close together, and the hotel kindly provided a complimentary upgrade. This certainly warrants another positive review!
Bicycles are available for complimentary rental at the hotel, although a fee applies if they are damaged or lost.
The swimming pools are nice. We only used the one located near the beach; the other one with a slide was a bit too far, so we didn't bother going.
The hotel offers a 'Nemo' fish feeding service daily, from 9-10 AM and seemingly again from 4-5 PM, which the children absolutely loved.
Breakfast was quite good, with plenty of variety and fresh fruit juices.
During our stay, we could explore the tidal flats between 10-11 AM and 9-10 PM. The children had a blast catching small fish and crabs.
Mosquitoes were not a significant issue at the hotel, and we even saw a lizard.

AAimee.CA Mixed Honeymoon Experience at Pakasai Resort, Krabi 💚
My husband and I recently stayed at Pakasai Resort in Krabi for our honeymoon, spending 6 days and 5 nights in their charming Honeymoon Chalet (Room 423). While the resort’s eco-friendly concept and tranquil natural environment created a memorable stay, our experience was a mix of highs and lows due to varying levels of service.
On a positive note, we were thoroughly impressed by the outstanding hospitality of Hakim and Ibrahim, two staff members who truly went above and beyond. Hakim (the one who attached in photo with loved one) welcomed us warmly on our first night, providing fantastic recommendations for must-visit spots in Krabi, which really enhanced our trip. Ibrahim (didn’t get a chance to take a photo, he was on his off day during our last day in Pakasai) was equally helpful, especially when he assisted us with our heavy baggage to our chalet, located at the highest point of the resort. His suggestion to rent a bike in Krabi made exploring the area more enjoyable and convenient.
However, our experience at the front desk left us feeling disappointed and disrespected. After a tiring walk back from Aonang Landmark Night Market for 20 minutes, my husband and I were exhausted and thirsty. We decided to rest at the lobby and politely asked the receptionist named Pin, if we could have some water to drink. Her response was curt and dismissive: “Here don’t have water. If you want water, you can go to the restaurant to buy it,” she said, pointing to the restaurant without a smile.
As me and my loved one came with a background in hospitality, we found this interaction unprofessional and lacking in basic courtesy. What made it worse was witnessing her behavior toward other guests shortly after. When a few Western guests arrived, her demeanor completely changed—she greeted them warmly, with smiles and respect. This stark contrast made me question whether there was a double standard in how Asian and Western guests are treated.
Despite this incident, Pakasai Resort has much to offer, with its peaceful environment, eco-conscious practices, and the strong hospitality of most staff members. I would also like to kindly request that management recognizes Hakim and Ibrahim for their outstanding service, as their dedication truly made our stay memorable. Staff like them are an asset to the resort and should be rewarded for their exceptional efforts.
To Pakasai Resort management, I hope you can address inconsistencies in service to ensure every guest feels valued, respected, and welcomed equally.

Also a great value of money. Only one the flush in our room didn’t work well, but just minor. Overall, great resort and recommended.

It's not directly on the sand, but it's close enough to enjoy the breeze all day and easily go back and forth between the beach and the pool. But the Wi-Fi is very slow in the rooms and lack of lighting at night.

The resort is very kids-friendly — the highlight for us was the pool area with water slides, which kept the children happily entertained. The size of the resort is just right — not too big and not too small — making it easy to manage with kids.
We booked connecting rooms for our group of four, which worked perfectly. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The only hiccup was on our last day when the whole building had no water supply, so we couldn’t shower before checking out (a funny memory now!).
Location: The resort is slightly away from Ao Nang Beach and the main street market, but still accessible. Tuk-tuk rides are easy to get and cost around 100 THB, which was convenient.
Massage & Spa: Like most places in Thailand, finding a good massage isn’t an issue — there are plenty of shops next to each other near the hotel, and the massages were great!
Overall, I’m happy with our stay and would recommend Ananta Burin Resort to families looking for a kid-friendly, comfortable place in Krabi.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a good price and the deluxe premier room with a balcony tub is wonderful. As with any 5 star resort hotel, it’s further out of town and grab/taxi takes a while to get but you can schedule in advance.
Food in the hotel is good. Lots of choice. Slightly on the pricier side but still not too bad.
Spa and massage is very expensive (for Thailand massage price) so we have that a miss. 2,000 thb head massage for 60min. Bangkok would be half of that. This includes happy hour 10-2pm 30% discount.
Full body 3k.
But having a jacuzzi on the balcony of the room was very worth it.
Breakfast is great.
Would I say here again? Yes!
Is it 5 star? Yes!
Is it value for money? Yes!
Just be prepared for longer travel distance and time and slightly more expensive food and drinks and spa.
P.s. it’s on the beach directly!! A smaller boutique 5* resort. Pools are nice and overall resort didn’t feel crowded.

RReinis&IvetaGreat service, good attitude! Easy communication in English! Can rent a motorbike on a spot! Also can book many activities at hotel - like boats tours to islands and cooking classes and more! Swimming pool is open 24/7 . Good location- 5 min ride to beach! Shops all around!
Good recommendation from staff- which made easy to know everything! Laundry service near to hotel! Room service is good ! Can buy some drinks at hotel which is great as no need to go to grocery!
Hotel have free transportation to beach 3 times a day!

LLimtIt is a great resort. The service of staffs are extremely friendly. Book The ocean view suites. Nice and spacious. However had to climb multiple flight of steps to the room unless you take their golf car to your building. Then again another flight of steps to the lift. Not too fun if you hurt your legs.
The room had a jacuzzi tub which is nice , but when we start filling up the tub, a lot of hair start floating in the water , hence we decided not to used it.
Toothbrush are not provided , if you do need one request from the counter.
The weird thing is that they only provide 1 door card. Hence if you are going out separately, you have to coordinate on the return with your other half.
The fridge is only functioning when the door card is plugged into. I bought a cake and it melted as we are out of the room with the door card.
However overall it is still a nice hotel.
