"This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Check-in was super efficient, and they even kindly upgraded my room. The room itself was spacious and bright, with soft, clean bedding and a selection of pillows at different heights – once I lay down, I didn't want to get up! The bathroom facilities were brand new, hot water came quickly, and the toiletries smelled lovely. The location was also very convenient; there's a subway station and a convenience store right downstairs, and it was only about a fifteen-minute taxi ride to major attractions. Breakfast offered a wide variety, with both Chinese and Western options, and the freshly made rice noodles were especially delicious. Upon check-out, they even gave me a small souvenir, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, the experience was incredibly comfortable. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and will recommend it to my friends!"

"First, shoutout to the staff, because they were all superb, very helpful, friendly, and on top of everything - spoke great English. The hostel itself has a really nice bar area with daily live music. The cocktails and coffee are amazing, and there are also reasonably priced breakfast options (that I personally haven't tried) that you can enjoy indoors or outdoors. The hostel offers daily activities and access to tours and private drivers, so you may want to check it out before you book yourself for something. Location-wise, there is a metro stop a short walk away, and taxis never had issues finding the hostel, but you'll always be picked up on the other side of the street. It's within a walking distance from the Wenshu Monastery, and therefore street food area - very convenient. My room was a four-people bedroom (female only) and the room itself, although small, it was clean. So were the bedsheets. The towels are not provided, so bring your own, but shower gel and shampoo are. Having bathroom inside the room is definitely convenient, but can be a nightmare if your roommates come back and use a hair dryer at 1am. It's not the hostel's fault, but pointing it out as something you may want to consider discussing with your roommates. Each person in the room will have a locker assigned too (mine didn't have a lock, but the others' did, so you may want to check that with the staff. Personally, I wasn't bothered). There is also a communal fridge and washing machine (for an extra fee) on the second floor. Overall, I'd say it was a great experience and a nice hang-out spot in Chengdu!"

"The room was really spacious and great. The front desk service was also very thoughtful; you could reach them 24/7 if you needed anything. It's super convenient for getting around since it's right in the city center of Chengdu. I stayed for several days, and the cleaning staff came daily to tidy up and restock essentials. "great location near the IFS and friendly staff! they do group dumpling nights and have alcohol/coffee for sale. the air conditioning worked great and they provide free water. the shower was not very clean though, the drain was almost entirely clogged and the foor was not slanted in a way that it would have drained well regardless. very moldy and stank up the room :(. we stayed at a private two bed room instead of shared accommodations so other showers may have been better."

"The facilities are quite comprehensive, and it offers great value for money. There's a common area on the second floor where you can meet other travelers, so overall, I was pretty satisfied with my stay. However, during my several-day stay, the staff didn't inform me that I could get a free bottle of water daily. When I asked about it later, after being there for three days, the staff member was reluctant to give me what was rightfully mine—just one bottle of water. That was completely unnecessary and quite a mood killer. Their service awareness definitely needs improvement."

"Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! The hotel allowed a 3 PM checkout, which was incredibly accommodating for us slow travelers – it meant we didn't have to rush, which was a huge relief. I accidentally left something behind, and the front desk contacted me immediately after finding it. They even took the initiative to pack it up and mail it back to me, which shows truly thoughtful and responsible service. All the staff were warm and friendly, and our room was spotless, tidy, and very comfortable. The hot water was great and available 24/7. Plus, the hotel has self-service laundry and dryers, so we didn't have to lug dirty clothes around – super convenient! This place offers excellent value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in town!"

"First off, the hygiene was excellent! We stayed for three days, and our room was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and duvet covers, which was very reassuring. There's a private elevator, so no waiting in lines. Plus, the shared ice cream machine was a lifesaver in this scorching summer heat! The owner was very friendly and recommended some great local snacks. Being from the same hometown in Northeast China, they even treated us to a draft beer! So good! 👍"

"This is my fifth time in Chengdu, and I've always chosen hotels within the Poshpacker system. The hotel is beautiful, the reception staff are very attentive, and they can help with anything via WeChat. Even though I'm a foreigner, they always try to communicate and help me. Although the elevator is run-down and the building is under renovation, it's very close to Xinnanmen Station Exit D and Chunxi Road. I've tried the double room and the dorm room and was satisfied with both. They even let us leave our luggage there. I'm really grateful."

Did not opt to have breakfast at the hotel, but there are several shops nearby, including a 24h convenience store. It is extremely well located with a metro station nearby. There are also several restaurants at the metro station and in the surrounding streets, all worth trying!

GGuest UserWe stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable. The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area. There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort. Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families. The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging. When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture. From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area. There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet. The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals. Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain.

AAnonymous UserThe loft room was spacious and quite clean. It had all the amenities, like a hairdryer, washing machine, and fridge, plus an induction hob. You could even buy groceries from Hema (just across the street) and cook your own meals. The location is right next to Niúwángmiào subway station, so transportation is very convenient. The only downside is that the bathroom exhaust fan blows air into the room, so after using the toilet, the whole room smells. And after showering, the moisture also blows back in. Combined with Chengdu's rainy weather, after two days the room got very humid. Considering it was a special offer room, I think it's acceptable.

It's also close to People's Park. What's especially great is that there's a table tennis club right in the building, so you can play in the evening and work off all the delicious food you ate during the day!

The parking lot is super close to the hotel, and they even have breakfast on the second floor. We booked three rooms and they managed to put them all together for us, which was really thoughtful. They also recommended a fantastic noodle place nearby.

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. Xiao Lin at the front desk was incredibly patient; even though I arrived in the early hours of the morning, she greeted me with a smile and processed my check-in quickly. The room was clean, odor-free, and had great natural light, and the bathroom amenities were all there. When I checked out, Xiao Lin even reminded me to take my personal belongings, which shows amazing attention to detail. This place offers incredible value for money, and I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThis is not a holiday inn/holiday inn express, (the chain) even though that’s the name. Other than that it’s a fine hotel. They offered free airport pickup service, and were very friendly in helping us. The hotel is in a very remote location, 20 minutes away from the airport. It’s in a beautiful setting in the countryside, and we could hear birds and chickens outside the window. The lobby is a bit sp****, and the bathroom is small, but it worked for us after getting in late at night.
