"the hotel is the building opposite JW Marriot chengdu. Inside the building has few operators that run the hotel service. so Yunxili is one of them. the room is VERY BIG like a studio apartment size. automated with many smart functions. the toilet bowl has few functions (like in Japan) that can assist you. very comfortable, big TV , big sofa, a washing machine inside the room with dryer function and they provide the detergent. it also has a water dispenser that have cold and hot water. free luggage storage also. i really love this hotel and suggest to all to stay here."

If there are multiple people booking multiple rooms together, you can contact the hotel in advance to confirm if they are in the same community. The kitchen is not open, but the washing machine and refrigerator can be used for free. The hygiene service is free for one guest, and there is no front desk. The password is self checked in. If needed, please contact the butler. B&B has single rooms, suites, Taikoo Li landscape rooms, river landscape rooms, french window, and duplex units, giving you a different experience. Facilities and equipment are complete, the room type is quiet and not facing the street. The room is located in a residential building and gatherings are not allowed. Please do not make loud noises. We look forward to your stay!
"Helpful Host and a Charming Classic Vibe, with a Few Minor Hiccups
The guesthouse owner was incredibly helpful and provided clear guidance and directions via WeChat. However, the location is a bit tricky to find, even after sharing the exact location with our DiDi driver.
Inside, the house is decent and looks exactly like the pictures provided. It has a very lovely classic, vintage vibe to it. The only downside was the bathroom, which had a slightly unpleasant smell, though it was still acceptable and bearable.
As for amenities, the owner initially provided disposable towels, but when I requested regular large towels, they quickly provided them. Excellent service from the host!
We did experience a bit of a disturbance during the day because a neighbor was doing renovations. Thankfully, it was completely quiet at night, allowing us to get a good rest. Overall, an okay stay made better by a very accommodating owner."

"Before I went, I read the reviews, especially the negative ones. The most common complaints were about hygiene (the most exaggerated one even mentioned ticks in the bedding) and soundproofing. I decided to book it anyway, just to try it out. Here's my experience:
1. **Hygiene:** It was clean, and they cleaned daily and replenished disposables.
2. **Soundproofing:** I didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in the negative reviews. Maybe there was no one upstairs or downstairs, or perhaps everyone was considerate.
3. **Convenient Transportation:** Right downstairs is Hongxing Bridge Station. It's a 3-minute walk from the hotel, which is a huge advantage in Chengdu, especially during holidays when traffic is a nightmare – those who know, know. Taxis are cheap in Chengdu, but that doesn't help when you're stuck in traffic.
4. **Decent Service:** This depends on your perspective. First, you need to understand that the front desk staff can be busy. Second, it depends on whether they can promptly address your requests. Communicating through Trip.com was difficult, but talking directly to the front desk was very smooth. The front desk lady even recommended some great food, and she didn't disappoint.
Overall, it was still OK. The picture shows the walk I took following the recommendation from the front desk lady."

"I got an upgrade to a room with a balcony and a bathtub, which was pretty nice. The balcony had a washing machine, but no dryer, though there were plenty of hangers. The service was okay, but on the second night, after coming back from dinner around midnight, I found a dead cockroach in the room. I have no idea where it came from, as the balcony door had been closed the whole time, except for a brief moment when I first arrived. The shower and toilet are in one area, and the sink and bathtub are in another, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, the bathtub doesn't have a curtain, and the door is made of glass, so you can see right in."

Beds are soft and fresh, and rooms are spacious and clean. Did not opt to have breakfast at the hotel, but there are several shops nearby, including a 24h convenience store.
It is extremely well located with a metro station nearby. There are also several restaurants at the metro station and in the surrounding streets, all worth trying!

GGuest UserWe stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable.
The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area.
There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort.
Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families.
The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging.
When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture.
From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area.
There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet.
The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals.
Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain.

AAnonymous UserStay here for 4 nights. Overall is good, just the wall is too thin so you can hear everything from the next door and last night of my stay is quite loud. Location is the best, it takes less than 3 mins to subway, just 2 stations to Chunxi road. There are many restro downstair, lawson/family mart/ is berby. Opposite the hotel is mall that have holiland and taode with no queue. It's quite older than picture but still in good condition. But if you are sensitive to sound may consider.

There is a convenience store that is open 24/7 at the main lobby of the building, a big mall is accessible with a 2 minutes walk, and many restaurants.
It's one of the cheapest room I found on TRiP.

I was in Chengdu for a business trip and decided to explore a bit. This homestay is right across from Kuanzhai Alley, which is super convenient for transport. The room was clean and bright, and the bedding was soft, making for an incredibly comfortable sleep. When I checked out, they even gave me some local snacks. Throughout the entire experience, the service was warm and attentive. If I ever come back, I’ll definitely choose this place again!

XXingzoulvshuiqingshanStaying at the Sunderia Hostel was an amazing experience! It's right next to Wenshu Monastery, so you can walk to the ancient temple, and it's also close to the subway, making it super convenient to get to Chunxi Road and Kuanzhai Alley. There are tons of local eateries nearby, and the staff were really enthusiastic about showing us where to find good food. Our room was cleaned daily, the bedding was soft, and the private bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. Downstairs, the common area offers free coffee during the day and turns into a cozy bar with live music at night. Travelers from all over the world gather there to chat and share their travel stories. It's such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, truly a top choice for accommodation in Chengdu!

GGuest UserThis is not a holiday inn/holiday inn express, (the chain) even though that’s the name. Other than that it’s a fine hotel. They offered free airport pickup service, and were very friendly in helping us.
The hotel is in a very remote location, 20 minutes away from the airport. It’s in a beautiful setting in the countryside, and we could hear birds and chickens outside the window. The lobby is a bit sp****, and the bathroom is small, but it worked for us after getting in late at night.
