"Located in a prime downtown spot, it's convenient for getting anywhere. Downstairs is very lively with restaurants, a food street, and a shopping complex all in one. During weekdays in summer, there were many foreign guests... and quite a few elderly Chinese too. The front desk often had queues for check-in, and there were always people waiting for taxis outside. Business was really good, yet the room offered excellent value for money! Thanks for the free upgrade to a deluxe suite~ It was newly renovated. I was on a business trip and decided to bring my mom along so she could relax and enjoy herself. **Facilities** They offer a table tennis room, a swimming pool, and a gym. No robots for food delivery pick-up though. **Hygiene** Clean. **Environment** The overall environment is good. The old five-star hotel is very well maintained; it doesn't feel old or dated. The room was newly renovated, but the sense of space wasn't huge, and the bathroom was a bit small. **Service** The service attitude was excellent and professional."

Hotel near Shanghai Disney Resort,Shanghai
Shanghai Million Stone Onsen Hotel is located at No. 99 Shendi East Road, Shanghai International Tourism Resort. It is an integrated hot spring resort complex that combines hot spring wellness, accommodation & catering, leisure cultural tourism, and business conference services. Covering a total land area of 18,000 square meters, the hotel features architectural design inspired by Oriental classical gardens. Built around deep underground natural fluorine hot spring resources, it boasts distinctive onsen pavilions. Complete supporting facilities include shared public hot spring zones, private hot spring guest rooms, dining outlets, kids’ play areas, landscaped gardens, multi-function conference halls, and a dedicated shuttle fleet. Adjacent to Shanghai Disneyland and Bicester Village, the hotel enjoys an outstanding geographic location with convenient transportation. It delivers all-scenario services covering hot spring recuperation, suburban getaways, family leisure trips, corporate team-building activities and small-scale business conferences, establishing itself as a benchmark high-end hot spring resort on the outskirts of the city.

"We stayed in a twin tatami room on the 1st floor with our child for a Disney trip, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the Disney metro station, but if you prefer, bus route 1 stops right outside the hotel and also goes directly to Disney. The communal bath (Gokurakuyu) was excellent. We went in the afternoon when it was practically empty, almost like having the whole place to ourselves. The water was clear and at a perfect temperature. The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite Bicester Village, so we took a stroll around, enjoyed some food, and did some shopping. While the hotel parking lot didn't have charging stations for guests, the staff went above and beyond to find a solution, and we ended up driving home with a fully charged car, which made us feel very secure. During our stay, it was our child's birthday, and the hotel provided a wonderful birthday setup. Our little one specifically wanted to praise the balloons! However, the hotel doesn't have a Western restaurant, so getting a birthday cake, whether delivered or bought, was impossible unless you brought one yourself. Also, the dining service stops after 10 PM, so for those returning late from Disney and wanting a late-night snack, you'd need to arrange for the restaurant to pack something for you in advance. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. It's a perfect base for visiting Disney, and you can avoid the crowds at the official Disney hotels."

Hotel near The Bund Area,Shanghai
The Shanghai Bund Puya Hotel is located on Beijing East Road, next to the Suzhou River, and offers breathtaking views of the Shanghai Bund. The hotel is within walking distance to famous Shanghai landmarks such as the Bund, Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street, Lujiazui, Xintiandi, People's Square, and Yu Garden; Adjacent to the No. 2 and No. 10 subway lines, it is convenient to enter and exit, enjoying the prosperity. The hotel has a total of 18 floors, with more than 100 luxury rooms and suites. The excellent viewing angle in the room will never miss the wonderful difference between the day and night of the Bund. Adhering to the aesthetic concept of "one city, one painting" of Puyan, the hotel creates a space that combines oriental charm and modern consciousness, perfectly presenting the Haishui culture of the Bund that has been passed down for a hundred years - modern and nostalgic, modern and retro. In this old ten-mile foreign land, today's financial hub, Puyan uses modern brushstrokes to meticulously depict the details of the iterations of time: the wonderful continuation of local traditional shapes, the exquisite carving of details, and the elegance of the East. The harmonious coexistence of the overall tone of light and dark, the minimalist art of extended lines, and the compatibility with modern rhythm. All kinds of ingenious designs create a subtle balance between modern and traditional, just like the cultural context of old Shanghai, which is both inclusive and accommodating.24-hour fitness center to keep you in shape at any time; The 18th-floor sky restaurant offers unobstructed views, allowing you to enjoy the dazzling night view of the Bund; The Chinese-style specialty restaurant interprets the authentic Shanghai local cuisine, and the star chefs skillfully prepare it, bringing a rich taste experience. The Shanghai Bund Puya Hotel offers guests a comfortable and dignified stay, as well as a cultural and artistic atmosphere, allowing guests to feel the pulse of the city and enjoy the unique charm of Shanghai's Bund.

"I had an incredible stay at this hotel, and the overall experience was absolutely wonderful. First of all, the hotel enjoys an unbeatable and prime location in Shanghai. [爱心]The transportation here is extremely convenient, allowing easy access to major scenic spots, shopping areas and city landmarks. It saves plenty of traveling time, which is perfect for tourists exploring the city. The highlight of my stay was definitely the stunning room view. From the room window, I could directly overlook the magnificent Huangpu River and the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower. The daytime scenery is bright and pleasant, while the night view is breathtaking and spectacular. As the city lights turn on at dusk, the entire riverside and tower are illuminated with gorgeous neon lights. The shimmering river water matches the brilliant city skyline, creating a dreamy and luxurious urban night scene. Watching the beautiful night view quietly in the room was extremely relaxing and healing. The panoramic view brings a fantastic visual enjoyment that perfectly represents the charm of Shanghai. Thanks to the superior location and amazing river view, this stay was unforgettable and worthwhile. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers who want to enjoy the best Shanghai night scenery."

"Fantastic central location, right opposite People's Square, close to 3 metro lines including Line 2 which goes almost everywhere (and to the airport in 1 hour), and connected to a huge shopping mall adjacent to the hotel. We had a late arrival due to a flight delay, but the staff was available for check-in. The breakfast was magnificent with a great selection of savory, sweet, Chinese, and continental options – something for everyone, plus superb freshly squeezed orange juice. The family suite was immense, though a bit dated, but it suited us perfectly. Housekeeping was done daily. I was able to communicate with the concierge via WeChat beforehand, and they were very kind. The only reason I'm not giving a 10/10 is that we didn't receive any information about dining at the hotel's restaurants, visiting the bar, or going to the swimming pool. For the pool, we had to find its location ourselves, and it was complicated to figure out which floor it was on relative to our building. We were on the 9th floor: we had to go down to the 8th floor, cross into the adjacent building where the 8th floor became the 6th, and then go up to the 8th floor of the new building 😛 It was hard to figure out and understand where we needed to go. The pool and jacuzzi are great and felt wonderful after a day of sightseeing. Swim caps are mandatory but provided by the lifeguard if you don't have one. There's a magnificent view from the bar located in the upper tower, even if the elevator is tricky to find for going up or down."

"We booked this eco-friendly hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is very conveniently located: there's a metro station nearby, as well as two shopping centres. The hotel is large, but there was quiet and peaceful. The view from the window was beautiful, even despite the typhoon that was hitting Shanghai these days (our room was on the 12th floor. We chose the hotel because of its location and good breakfasts. The breakfasts were really very delicious and tasty. There was both Chinese and European food. A wide selection of fruits: watermelons, melons, apricots, mangoes, bananas, dragon fruit. There were many different pastries, several types of yogurts, even matcha yogurt. Also, at the exit from the restaurant, there was a Candy Bar with chewy marmalade: you can put the marmalade in a small bag. The room had everything, including a capsule coffee machine, an ironing board, and an iron, which is very convenient. l'd especially like to mention the eco-friendly slippers, which really stand out from the slippers in other hotels: they're very comfortable. The staff was polite and quickly resolved any issues that arise."

Hotel near Shanghai Disney Resort,Shanghai
"We stayed for several days and didn't want to check out, feeling a sense of reluctance when it was time to leave. We mainly visited Shanghai with our kids and family for Disneyland, and the hotel's hygiene, service, and environment were all excellent. Most importantly, it's very close to Disneyland and the airport, and they offer reliable pick-up and drop-off services for the airport, which made our trip to Disneyland with everyone incredibly smooth. The room layout and facilities were my favorite. The king-size bed was very comfortable and spacious, and there was a large balcony. It's truly family-friendly, especially for those with children, with a swimming pool and an indoor kids' play area. The kids had fun while the parents relaxed. It's a great choice for a family vacation. We'll definitely stay here again next time."

Bellagio by MGM Shanghai on the Bund

CNMy muyao
My weekend stay at the Bellagio Shanghai, operated by Suning, was a truly comfortable and relaxing urban getaway. The hotel's location and views are, of course, outstanding. Watching the Suzhou Creek and the Pudong skyline at night, all the quintessential Shanghai charm unfolded before my eyes. The hotel's aesthetic also really appealed to me; it doesn't chase flashy modernity, but instead has a timeless and understated classic feel that withstands the test of time. The room was very comfortable, especially the bedding, which was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. Even casual photos turned out beautifully – it's the kind of place that's pretty from any angle, without needing to deliberately find a good shot. This time, I particularly want to thank Penny. Over the years, I've stayed in many hotels, and once the hardware reaches a certain standard, it's truly the people who make the difference. Penny left me with an impression that can be summarized in two phrases: meticulous attention to detail and thorough consideration. Before and after check-in, she proactively sought to understand our preferences and needs. Many things didn't require repeated explanations; she had already thought of them in advance. What's remarkable is that this attentiveness never felt forced; she had excellent discretion, making the entire weekend feel very relaxed. One small incident, in particular, is worth mentioning. Even after her shift, Penny continued to help coordinate and arrange things for us, and she specifically clarified our personal preferences one by one. Guests may not always realize how much internal communication is involved, but the seamless experience she delivered speaks volumes about her dedication and professionalism. Good service is never just about enthusiastic words; it's about anticipating what the guest hasn't thought of, and having already arranged what the guest has thought of. Penny excelled in this regard. It was a weekend without a tight itinerary or any special plans – just enjoying the views, getting good sleep, and leisurely passing time at the hotel. Ironically, this was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing breaks I've had recently. The hardware, views, and ambiance of the Bellagio Shanghai are all worth a return visit, but what truly makes someone choose a hotel again are often these small details in the service. Thank you, Penny, for your care. I will definitely choose this hotel again and hope to see you next time.

This is my second time at the Ritz-Carlton Pudong, and the facilities are, as expected, top-notch. Since I have a flight to the UK in two days, I decided to spend both days fully enjoying the hotel experience. The concierge team thoughtfully prepared extra bottled water for me in advance, and also gifted me a little lion charm and a personalized room key. The handwritten card was a truly warm and sincere touch, showing they remembered details I had mentioned, and they even helped me with restaurant reservations. I also took the opportunity to experience the Ritz-Carlton spa. While the price might be a bit higher, the quality of service and the staff's attitude are absolutely impeccable.

This is our second weekend stay here with the kids. Our room had a great view of Century Park and even a glimpse of the 'Three-piece Suite' (Lujiazui skyscrapers) in the distance. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly. While the kids' play area didn't have a huge variety of activities, it was certainly enough to tire them out! Being right above Kerry Parkside, dining and shopping were super convenient. We'll definitely be back again next time!

I made a last-minute decision to stay at this hotel, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. They personally escorted me to my room, explaining all the features and amenities, and even highlighted the hotel's special services. The room offered a direct view of the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' skyline, including the Bund and the Oriental Pearl Tower – the entire panorama was right before my eyes. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it's still very well-maintained. The breakfast selection was extensive. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Stepping into the room, I was immediately greeted by the towering 'Huangpu River Four-Piece Set' (referring to the iconic skyscrapers) outside the window. Sitting on the sofa, the Huangpu River unfolded before me like a dynamic scroll painting. The bedding was incredibly soft and delicate; I instinctively wrapped myself tightly in the duvet. The Aesop pine-scented amenities were elegant and long-lasting, perfectly matching the Waldorf's style. The walk-in closet was well-designed and practical. I had bought some 'Ice Beauty,' 'Goddess,' 'Pink Iron Cannon,' and 'Orange Dream' flowers, and was using the room's trash can as a makeshift vase. The thoughtful Nini noticed and kindly replaced it with a beautiful glass vase. 👍 Aaron and Katrina provided meticulous and attentive service. It was a great 4-day experience. I'll definitely be back.

Excellent stay at Grand Central Hotel Shanghai! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed in the Deluxe Business Double Room, and it was huge, spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom layout was especially impressive, with two sinks, a separate toilet, and separate shower facilities, which made it very convenient for a couple. My husband was particularly impressed with the room and said he would definitely like to stay at the same hotel again if we return to Shanghai. The hotel location is very convenient, and our room was clean and well maintained. The reception staff were polite, professional and helpful throughout our stay. The bell boys were also very helpful and attentive, always ready to assist us when needed. What impressed me most was the housekeeping team. The housekeepers were exceptionally warm, attentive and friendly. Whenever they saw us returning to our room, they would proactively check if we needed our room cleaned or required anything. They were always smiling and greeted us warmly whenever we met them. Their thoughtfulness and genuine hospitality made us feel very welcome. it is never an easy job to be a housekeeper tho. While the reception team was professional and courteous, the housekeepers added an extra personal warmth that made our stay especially pleasant and memorable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Grand Central Hotel Shanghai. Excellent room, excellent service and wonderful hospitality. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Shanghai!
