"The hotel has just opened, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The rooms are fully automated, and you can see the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening – absolutely stunning! The room rate is reasonable, and breakfast is included. The local rice noodles for breakfast are incredibly delicious. There's also a convenient dining area on the first floor of the hotel in the evening. Their sweet rice wine, rice paddy fish, and fragrant pork are all particularly delicious and local specialties, especially their sour soup fish. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay; the owners were very welcoming, and I'll definitely come back next time."

"The hotel is located between observation decks 5 and 6, making it very convenient for sightseeing. You can see the village and the terraced fields right from your window. The owner, the front desk guy, and all the staff were incredibly welcoming. We even got a free room upgrade! They thoughtfully told us about local attractions, the approximate sunrise time, and the shortest route to observation deck 6 for sunrise. All in all, we had a wonderful stay."

"The hotel is located on the No. 6 rice terrace. You can buy a ticket at the village entrance service center and take the shuttle bus. You can also drive in. If you drive, you need to make a reservation one day in advance and give your license plate to the hotel owner for registration. The drive from the service center to the hotel is about 20 minutes, so driving is recommended for convenience. The owner built and renovated the house himself. The room is spacious and clean. The room has natural light on both sides, and the view is very expansive. In October, the sun started to rise around 6:00 a.m. The hotel offers dining options. Dinner and lunch are served at the hotel, and the owner cooks his own meals. Recommended dishes include fish, chicken, and bacon, all local specialties. The rice wine is also very good."

"Thanks to the family who owns the hotel, we had a wonderful stay. The owner 胡姐 was very helpful amd responsive to guide us on public transport logistics. Our hotel room was immediately upgraded on arrival even without our request. There is a large restaurant within the hotel which is priced resonably. Apparently their restuarant is the biggest in this area. The hotel is directly right in front of viewing gallery platform number 3 and is great to see sunrise without travelling far to the other viewing galleries. Our stay has been made super memorable by the owner's sweet daughter who sells super yummy sausages. We look forward to stay at the hotel again for the autumn harvest."

"Viewpoint No. 6 is the best spot for watching the sunrise and has a high vantage point; it's not far from the guesthouse as you walk up the street. Locals prefer to build their houses with cedar wood because it needs proper moisture control, as brick walls are prone to mold. While it may not be soundproof, it offers a genuine wooden cabin experience. The most amazing thing was the food. The owner's motto is ”whatever's available, we'll eat,” with freshly caught and prepared fish with quick and skillful movements. In the morning, we told the owner we wanted rice paddy fish, and he went to catch them himself that morning. In the evening, we had a free-range chicken (one chicken and two portions), and when we asked what we wanted for the next day, he recommended loach. After dinner, he went to catch loach himself. The owner will also help you prepare various dishes and soups, so order with confidence and reasonable prices. The rice paddy fish had clean bellies without any black membrane. This is a natural ingredient you can't find in cities or towns. The air was fresh and clean; even after rain, my glasses dried without any residue. The owner's diligence and reliability inspired trust. After two days of enjoying beautiful scenery and delicious food, I experienced the wonderful mountains, clear water, fresh air, and friendly people. Parking is free for those driving. The scenic area has shuttle buses that run every 15 minutes to take people to six viewing platforms and the spiral terraces. I visited the mirror-like terraces (viewing platform No. 1) in April or May, and I want to come back in September to see the autumn harvest scenery. It's truly a heavenly place."

"Lady boss accommodated my multiple transport arrangement requests and provided recommendations to eat and to explore the village. Very patient, helpful and even offered me a boiled egg to go before I catch my train. Insisted on helping me to carry my suitcase up and down the stairs even though it's heavy and more than half her size. Accommodation is basic but more than sufficient for a lodging in a relatively small remote village area, towels, toothbrushes, body wash and shampoo provided. Western toilet and hot running water. Central location and close to the supermart and Souvenir area. Cosy guesthouse and most importantly, spectacular view! Very quaint and peaceful stay. If you're sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs as it's a wooden house so you can feel and hear movements, as well as chickens cooing in the morning, which didn't affect me. I absolutely love this place!"

But today, I have to make an exception, and it is still the first comment of this homestay. For nothing else, just for such a treasure place, I can't know, and I'm afraid it will be too hot to book in the future. This time I planned to live for one day, and finally stayed for three days. Let me talk about the location first. When the boss took us there, I also complained about how the road went more and more ”desolate”. After the result, it was really fragrant. It is not on the main street of the noisy village, but is directly ”packed” by the stacked terraces. It was a wonderful feeling, as if it had strayed into a small, isolated kingdom. What is the biggest highlight? Separate house! It is too difficult to find a really private space this year. What amazes me most is that its location can't even ride a bicycle, it has to walk for a few minutes, don't get me wrong, this is not complaining, this is boasting about it! What does this mean? It means that the noise outside, the noise of tourists, and even the sound of passing electric car horns are all isolated. Here, this is your own paradise. Open the window is full of greenery and the lines of terraced fields. I was woken up by birds in the morning and fell asleep with insects at night. Sitting on a wicker chair and blowing the hair, looking up is the sky full of stars, that kind of quietness is really long gone. The interior of the room is also very design, not the cheap farmhouse style, the details are in place, the bedding is comfortable, and the toiletries are not improvised. In this era of homogeneous homestays everywhere, it is really not easy to encounter a yard that really understands the word ”avoid the world”. I don't want it to become too commercial, but I feel that such a good place should not be buried. So, this review is my respect for good things. "The hotel has a great location. The entrance is easy to find, there are plenty of restaurants downstairs, and the food festival is just a short walk away. There's plenty of delicious food and fun activities. Taking a taxi or public transport is also convenient, and the staff are very friendly."

"Our stay began with a slight hiccup regarding the room type, but the owner, a pleasant young man, sincerely resolved it. Among accommodations in Jiabang, this guesthouse stands out for its pleasant environment. It's clean, and the rooms are spacious. For Jiache Village, the facilities are quite decent, and the location is excellent, conveniently situated on the road to Observation Deck #6. However, there were a few downsides. First, for guests staying multiple nights, daily room cleaning and replenishment of disposable toiletries are not standard. We noticed our room hadn't been serviced on the afternoon of our second day and had to request items from the owner. Second, our room was unfortunately situated directly above the kitchen's exhaust vent. During meal preparation, cooking fumes would waft into the room, making it impossible to open the windows. It was quite frustrating to keep them closed in such a fresh-air environment. Third, being a mountainous region, there's quite a bit of wildlife, so guests should be cautious. On our last morning, venturing out early around 6 AM, we encountered a small snake—about finger-thick and 30-40cm long—crawling near the first-floor staircase. Thankfully, my husband, who was ahead, didn't step on it, and we quickly walked around. This was the fifth snake we'd seen in our two weeks in Guizhou, but the others were unfortunately roadkill; this one was alive. While I understand this might be common in mountainous regions, guesthouses should ideally have measures in place to handle such encounters to prevent alarming guests. It's not easy for a young entrepreneur to run a guesthouse, and I hope its operations become more streamlined, eventually becoming a top accommodation choice for visitors. 🐵"
