Find 2-Star Hotels in Duyun

I traveled to Old Kapok Cloud Art Village in July 2025 with my 18 year old son and three nephews during a month-long trip to China. Everyone agreed that our brief stay there was their favorite part of the entire trip! They all said they want to return and stay much longer than 2 days. It is absolutely beautiful, meticulously clean, interesting, and the most special location. The breakfast was delicious and the people there were so friendly and helpful with all of our requests. My son and his cousins quickly befriended one of the staff and hope that they can keep in touch in the future. I cannot say enough good things about all aspects of our visit. We chose that location because it is close to the tea plantation that surrounds the hotel grounds, but our stay within the Kapok Village hotel was as wonderful as the tea plantation experience itself.  This is a 5-star experience that will leave a life-long impression. They offer not only a comfortable, elegant setting, they mix that with gracious hosting. Thank you for the most wonderful experience for my family!   

The hotel front desk service is meticulous and patient, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is clean, and the face and bath towels are clean. There is a night market below the hotel, which is convenient for late-night snacks. But the rooms near the night market are noisy. In general, it feels good to stay here!

The room is still relatively clean and tidy, the price is relatively high, the room environment is also very large, the space is relatively wide, and it is still a squat toilet, this praise, I don’t like the toilet of the toilet, this squat toilet is quite good, and it is 5 minutes walk from the place where I travel. Very convenient, the nearby commercial street is also good, very close, can go around, very convenient

The hotel is easy to find, and there is also a paid parking lot (this one is not easy to find). The hotel is very newly decorated (renovated in 2023, relatively popular style), and is very close to Xishan Bridge and Duyun's food street. The only regret is that it started raining heavily before the lights on the bridge came on. There are many supermarkets and snack bars near the hotel. There is also a shopping mall next to it, which is very convenient, but it is not noisy and very quiet.

The location feels a bit remote since the surroundings are mostly unused buildings, so it's a bit creepy at night if you walk around by yourself. Not many people walk the street. I don't know whether it's because I went there in winter or it is usually like that. Have to walk around 10 minutes to get to the street with many restaurants and food stalls, but the receptionist sister is so kind and let me add her WeChat account in case I need some help when going to that food street. It'd be nice if they sell something to eat in the lobby/lounge though. The inn itself is pretty clean and you can find necessary amenities in your room. The heater was not really working though. It was set to 30°C, but I was still freezing inside. I could only feel warm and nice after the hot shower. Yeah, luckily the hot shower worked as it should have. But, the water leaked through the shower room's glass door, so you need to dry it with the towel mat if you don't want to slip. The ceiling also needs some repair or at least re-painting since it looked like it was leaking even though it maybe not. I chose this inn since it is not that far from Qin Han Film City and it's cheap. Overall, I guess it's worth the price.

The hotel lobby is very clean, the room is clean and tidy, the air conditioning and hot water are also very good, the front desk and the guest room are very enthusiastic and the service attitude is very satisfactory. The hotel also provides free kitchen use and a laundry room, which is very cost-effective. The bed sheets and quilt covers in the room are changed for each guest. It is a very satisfactory stay experience. I will continue to choose your hotel on my next business trip

The room should have been unoccupied for a long time, the musty smell is very heavy, there are mold ideas on the mahjong machine and chairs (although we can't use them), but they are really uncomfortable in a space, and there are hair and unknown substances on the bed. The liquid dried on the bed, It’s really unhappy to stay in the early morning. We were still changing pillows when we went early in the morning. Did we see any hair on the bed (disposable slippers are not provided yet)

After staying for two days, I felt that the facilities were quite new at the beginning, and the overall impression was OK. Then I found that the physical lock of the room door could not be screwed before going to bed on the first day, but because I was too tired, I put two cups at the door and slept first. The next day, I recorded a video to the front desk to reflect the door lock. The male boss quibbled that it was all the same, saying that the physical lock was useless. If there was a card, it would still be opened by a brush from the outside. Then, the next day, the outrageous thing happened. After inserting the card to get electricity, it came for a while. The power outage came automatically. Finally, after repeated tossing more than 20 times, it was completely out of power. I called the boss to repair it once, and it happened again after 20 minutes, and then repaired it again. In the middle of the night, it was more than 11 o'clock, and the electricity finally stabilized. During the period, the female boss proposed to change the room, but because there were too many things, I didn't want to pack it twice, and refused. More outrageous things, the male boss came up to repair the electricity and continued to argue with me that the door lock was no problem, but he reached out and twisted it, and the undisguised soul asked: ”Ugh??” Then he continued to argue that other doors were not like this. Anyway, it's quite speechless, there is nothing to say, I'm more unlucky if other doors don't.
