"I originally booked Fan Jing Yun Shan, but upon arrival, they upgraded me to Dian Zui Ge (both hotels are very close and owned by the same person). Dian Zui Ge is better than what I originally booked. It's right by the road, very easy to find. There was even a well-behaved dog greeting me at the entrance. The room is large, spacious, and fully equipped. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the vanity is outside, which is great. The room faces the mountains, so it's very quiet at night. There's a restaurant on the first floor, and breakfast is complimentary. The hotel is not far from the East Gate of Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area, just a 10-minute walk away. It's also close to the nearby Zhaisha Dong Village, a few minutes by taxi. For anyone visiting the East Gate of Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area, I highly recommend staying here."

"To be honest, this guesthouse is truly excellent! The rooms look exactly like the pictures, and it's not just the fantastic location right behind the visitor center, making it super convenient to access the scenic area. The owners and their family are also incredibly kind! They even came to pick me up when I arrived and helped me with my luggage. Plus, the room is huge, and the bathroom is spacious with a separate wet and dry area. The hot water pressure is amazing, making for a very comfortable shower! I stayed on the street-facing side, which had great natural light and excellent ventilation – no strange odors or that unpleasant new renovation smell that can be harmful (I really hate that new hotel smell and prefer places that have been open for a few years). The owner's brother runs the restaurant, and the food is delicious! The stir-fries are great, but the sour soup fish is even better! 😍 It's truly delicious! Better than many sour soup fish dishes I've had in Guiyang! The main reason is the excellent quality of the river eel itself; the fish has no fishy taste, is very fragrant and tender! And the flavor is just superb! I was happy to eat all three meals at their attached restaurant rather than venturing out to the food street. The owner is very honest and down-to-earth. For a guesthouse (because it is positioned as a guesthouse, not a star-rated hotel! 🤭), to achieve this level, I personally think it's very satisfying."

"The location of this hotel is great, there is a place to park, there are many places to eat nearby, there is a beef that is delicious. Booked a parent-child room, the room is big enough, the facilities are enough, and the health is good. The front desk sister is warm and patient to answer questions."

"Beautiful mountains, beautiful water, and a kind family. The owner even cooked during the Spring Festival – so touching! 🥹 The rooms were clean and tidy, and because it's next to the mountains, the air was incredibly fresh and comfortable. 😌 The food smelled amazing; we didn't even have time to take pictures before our group started eating! Tourists looking for food in the area flocked here. I recommend the spicy fish with fermented bean curd; the noodles for breakfast were also ”fragrant but not spicy” – the owner's secret recipe. After eating, we had plenty of energy to climb Mount Fanjing. The owner, despite being busy, also took time to pick us up and take us to the scenic area – so hospitable! We'll definitely come back to Tongren again."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 Stay Near Fanjingshan I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fanjingshan. The location is excellent, situated right at the foot of the mountain and very close to the entrance of the scenic area. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to find food or anything you might need during your stay. The room was spotless, modern and extremely comfortable. Everything worked perfectly, from the TV and heater to the hot water and bed. It genuinely felt like a home away from home after a long day of hiking. What made the stay especially memorable was the owner. She was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. She owns a restaurant nearby, and whenever I ordered food, it was conveniently brought up to my room. She also offered snacks, gave useful local advice and helped arrange transportation for my onward journey after Fanjingshan, which was a huge help as a foreign traveller. The combination of a great location, comfortable rooms and genuine hospitality made this one of the highlights of my trip. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Fanjingshan."

"As a Shanxi person, I came to Fanjing Mountain to climb the mountain. I was deeply moved by Guizhou all the way. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The decoration is very new, natural and elegant, the supporting facilities are very intimate, there is actually an elevator, and the climbing equipment does not have to climb the stairs. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the facilities are perfect. There is a restaurant next door, and it is especially convenient to go down the mountain for food. The warmest thing is that the boss family always smiles. After climbing down the mountain, they happened to eat and drink a cup of the boss's medicine and wine, and they were exhausted. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to chat with the store and listen to them talk about the local customs. The boss also brought his own tea to me to make, and I really experienced the simplicity and enthusiasm of Guizhou people, especially Jiangkou. The most funny boss has been mopping the floor, and the next morning, the boss is still mopping the floor. The hotel and the urban powder shop have a price, and there is no premium at all. It tastes comfortable. It's a surprise all the way, warm heart all the way, I ❤️ Guizhou."

"The boss is very good. I heard that I want to buy a ticket, so I borrowed an electric bike to buy a ticket. The elderly climbed the mountain and were tired. They should have checked out at noon and stayed in the room until the elderly woke up. The room is not bad, the location is very close to the attractions, and the dishes are very good."

"The homestay is a 15' walk to the Mountain gate. I stayed in the simplest room, but it was big enough and everything was working well. Mistress Liu was incredibly welcoming, she assisted me to find a taxi for my next destination at local price and, despite the language barrier, was helpful in everything I needed during my stay"

"Fanjingshan East Gate Scenic Area Pick-up and Drop-off Service: The owner personally picked us up and dropped us off at Fanjingshan – so thoughtful! Cleanliness: The rooms were large and very clean. Environment: The courtyard was beautiful, with dogs and turtles. Facilities: The facilities were new, and the TV was huge – perfect for watching from bed. Location: Very convenient, just a few steps from the village entrance. Thumbs up to the owners! They were incredibly welcoming ❤️ They provided us with all sorts of travel tips and even helped wash our dirty clothes 🥹 We'll definitely stay here again next time."
