The room was very warm, and with the electric blanket, I had a cozy night's sleep in the chilly Litang. The service was also good, and they responded to my needs promptly. Although there weren't many options, the stay was quite satisfactory, and I have to give it a five-star rating.

We were able to get a ride from Yading to Litang via a carpool service, and the driver dropped us off directly at the hotel. The accommodation itself was well-equipped with underfloor heating and an oxygen concentrator. The owner, who is also a musician, spoke excellent English. Litang is a city at an altitude of 4000 meters. I really wanted to see Mount Genyen and visit Litang Temple, but due to the rain, I couldn't. If another opportunity arises in the autumn or May, this is a guesthouse I'd love to revisit.

The owners were nice but I couldn't communicate in English. They have a hotel cat. The room was really nice, but there were some issues. The ceiling was leaking water overnight. A constant drip sound and water on the floor, luckily not on the bed. My bathroom also has drainage problems. The floor was also very dusty and dirty. It was explained in the morning when a sledge hammer was being used on the floor above starting at 8am. Not a big issue, but they also didn't give me the obligatory two bottles of water. I had to boil my own. No heating, but there is an electric blanket. This will be a good hotel once they sort a few issues out.

We booked a room right before arriving. We were able to check in immediately. To be honest, the room had everything we needed: a warm shower, a kettle for tea, a radiator. The only ”issue” is that one of the two beds was unmade and the shower seemed like it had just been used. No real problem for us as we only needed one bed, but it was definitely was a bit weird.
