I forgot to take pictures. It was a guesthouse I booked the night before my trip to Jiuhua Mountain, located near the high-speed rail station. It was a converted restaurant/farmhouse. The family of three had a very well-behaved little daughter. The room was large and clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the hot water came quickly. It rained that night, and my quick-drying overalls dried in less than two hours. The owners were very welcoming and offered to pick me up from the high-speed rail station. Because there were few other residents nearby, it was incredibly quiet at night. The only downside was that it was inconvenient to buy things; I was startled by several dogs, and oh, I also killed three mosquitoes. The owners even asked the uncle who was dropping me off at the station to help me buy some snacks at a small shop along the way. They were a very kind family. I wish their little shop continued success under the protection of Buddha.

A truly exceptional stay on Jiuhuashan I have stayed in many guesthouses across China, but this one stands out in a very special way. From the very first moment, the communication via WeChat was friendly, quick, and reliable – even though my Chinese is limited and the staff’s English is not extensive. Still, everything worked beautifully. Warm, patient, uncomplicated. It already gives you the feeling that you are in good hands. I stayed for two days, and throughout my entire time there, everything was perfectly organized. I was picked up right on time upon arrival – an invaluable service in a mountain area that can be a little confusing for newcomers. The guesthouse itself is extremely comfortable: warm, well-designed rooms with excellent facilities, a huge screen, electric curtains, cozy bedding, and all the small details that make travel easier. I immediately felt welcomed and well taken care of. During my stay, the staff assisted me with everything I needed, always with kindness and without any complications. When it was time to leave, they also arranged transport back to my bus at exactly the time I requested. Truly flawless service. But the most extraordinary highlight was something I did not expect at all: the free guided tour that the homestay organizes for all their guests. They drove us to the starting point, and then we spent the day walking through the misty mountain paths, visiting nine of the most important temples on Jiuhuashan. It was magical – quiet, mysterious, deeply atmospheric. Our guide took wonderful care of everyone, explained so much about the temples, the mountain, the history, and the spirit of Dizang Bodhisattva, and created a sense of depth that went far beyond sightseeing. This was not a tourist activity. It was a spiritual and cultural experience – something you can only receive from people who truly love their mountain and want to share it with others. In the fog, among ancient stones, incense smoke, and the sound of footsteps on wet leaves, one begins to understand why Jiuhuashan has been a sacred place for centuries. My conclusion: This homestay offers not only comfort, warmth, and excellent service, but also a genuine connection to the spiritual heart of Jiuhuashan. I can recommend Tanxiangyuan Homestay without any hesitation. For pilgrims, travelers, lovers of nature, or anyone seeking a meaningful experience, this place is simply perfect. I am grateful for every moment I spent there.

The boss was really nice. First, he came down from the mountain to pick us up during the non-control period, and then recommended reliable travel routes. The next day, I also helped to deliver the luggage to the exit, otherwise the luggage would be too heavy and it would be difficult to pay homage to the Buddha. The room environment is also very good, no different from the pictures provided by the boss. The location is near the Flesh Body Palace, and the bus stop is at the door.

【Sumu Homestay】 This time I came to Jiuhua Mountain and became associated with Hemu. I felt at home from the heart. The owner is a couple, and the kindness is naturally exposed in the treatment of people, and the details are also showing the meticulous and thoughtful service. Every night, the boss helps to make a pot of yellow tea, chat with you, refine the next day's itinerary and specifically ask for places worth paying attention and going. When I walked on the high-altitude plank road of Huatai, I suddenly felt that the owner was not the ”Guided Fairy” engraved on the stone of Huatai Mountain! Finally, I would like to express my special thanks to the rush of going down the mountain and not having time to go back to the hotel to pick up the luggage. The boss took the initiative to contact and drove the luggage directly to the mountain (not Yingxian Bridge, but the tourist service center under the mountain) [rose][rose][rose] I stayed at the hotel on Thursday night and left on Saturday night. The boss was enthusiastic to help make a reasonable itinerary. First day [morning] Moon Body Temple, small rooftop, Shangchantang, Yuchan Forest, Huacheng Temple, etc.; On the first day [afternoon] Take the bus to the rooftop at Huxingshan Station, take the cableway up the mountain, worship the ancient worship platform, the rooftop Temple, walk down the mountain, pass Guanyin Peak, Huiju Temple, Phoenix Song, take the bus from Phoenix Song Station back to Huxingshan Station, walk back to the hotel for five or six minutes. The next day [morning] Baisui Palace, 500 Luohan Hall, Feilai Guanyin Peak, Sleeping Buddha Observation Deck, Dongya Temple, Huixiang Pavilion, Wanfo Pagoda, go down the mountain in the direction of Jiuhua Street, walk to Gion Temple; Gion Temple will go up the mountain after worshiping layer by layer, walk to Guanyin Cave, and then go down the mountain; The next day [afternoon] Take the bus to Huatai at the entrance of Julong Hotel, take the cableway up the mountain, go directly up the steps with your left hand, go around the clockwise [natural sleeping Buddha], and return to the cableway along the high-altitude plank road of Huatai in the second half, and take the cable car down the mountain.

Facilities: Hot water comes quickly, paper cups are provided. Hygiene: Clean Environment: Convenient location, right behind Huacheng Temple, not far from the bus station, within a 10-minute walk. Service: The host was very welcoming and responsive. They picked us up from Yingxianqiao Station on the first day, helped us plan our trip and recommended good restaurants that evening, prepared breakfast on the second day, and provided hiking poles. We are very grateful.

The hotel is located a stone throw away after alighting from the tourist bus at the entrance to scenic area (50RMB to n fro the foot of the mountain). Had already chatted with owner on WeChat n he fetched me after I alighted . Room is clean and functional . Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage. He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 . So many restaurants too!!!!!!!! He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop . Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The B&B was spotless and well-maintained, with a cozy and comfortable layout. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the natural light and ventilation were excellent, making for a truly relaxing experience. The host was incredibly warm and attentive, always patiently and promptly answering any questions we had – the service was outstanding. The location was also super convenient, making getting around and finding food a breeze. This place offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit. The boss is very nice. The overall design is neo-Chinese, which is quite innovative. A clean and tidy environment makes people feel happy and easy to attract wealth. Because I came to Jiuhua Mountain on a whim, I booked a hotel on short notice, and there were basically no suitable single rooms. This partitioned single room has a different artistic conception. Cleanliness is the key. The boss is very enthusiastic and will answer any questions.

The owner was very kind and patiently explained everything, showing me the most convenient way to pray. It's rare to find such a good owner on my first visit; I'm so grateful to have met him. The prices were also reasonable.

The boss drove to the ticket office to pick me up. The boss and his family were very friendly. They also brought me a thin blanket at my request. The service was excellent. The room was as shown in the picture. Objectively speaking, it was in line with its price. After all, it was not expensive. It was clean and tidy. The only problem was that the shower door in the bathroom was not closed tightly and the water leaked outside. The water temperature was sometimes hot and sometimes cold.
