"This was my second stay, but overall, it wasn't as good as the first time. When I checked in, the front desk told me that the king-size room I originally booked was full and they'd upgraded me to a round bed room. I figured there wouldn't be much difference, so I agreed. However, when I got to the room and tried to use the key card, it wouldn't open. I called the front desk, and they said the card probably hadn't been activated properly. I had to wait a few minutes outside the door, which was quite inconvenient. Also, in the round bed room, the power outlets near the headboard were too far away, making it really hard to charge my devices 😓. These issues were somewhat acceptable, but then around 9 AM the next morning, the landline in the room rang unexpectedly. I'm not sure if it was the front desk or someone else, but it really disrupted my sleep. The soundproofing wasn't great either; I kept hearing loud noises from the hallway. Next time I'm in Tongren, I'll definitely have to reconsider staying at this hotel."

"Loved this place! The hotel is next to the river and the old cultural area. Right across the bridge has street food, restaurants, their famous matcha products, and shopping galore. The room was great! We can't tolerate smoke, so the room was a true non-smoking room. However, some other guests arrived and then we could smell smoke in the hallways and other common areas (even though there are signs posted for no smoking). It's still one of the best we've stayed in~. They have washers AND DRYERS, so it was easy to do laundry 😁. The breakfast was also nice quality with a variety of freshly cooked items. They even had warm water bottles at the front desk. The staff was also very helpful. We recommend 😊."

"Its right near the HSR station, 3 minutes walk! The location of hotel near subway is great and also with yummy authentic food and restaurants to fill your bellies for days! The room is ok by Chinese standard with private bath and the usual toiletries."

"The room was okay, the hot water tap was large and the shower was fine, but the air conditioner was terrible, which was disappointing 😞. Although it's a Gree air conditioner, for some reason, after being turned on for 15 minutes, it would display an E1 error message and wouldn't start again. We had to manually turn it off and on again. We went to the front desk to report the problem, and the owner came to the room, unplugged it, and then turned it back on, saying to contact us again if it didn't work. But it stopped working again after 15 minutes. By then it was already 11 pm, and we needed to drive the next day, so we couldn't contact the owner again. But we couldn't sleep without air conditioning, so we had to turn it on and off 5-6 times. We spent the whole night struggling with the air conditioner and couldn't sleep. Gree is a well-known brand, and we also use Gree at home, and we've never had this problem. Could it be intentional to save electricity? Before booking the room, I specifically called the hotel to ask if the air conditioner was working properly, and they said it was. But after checking in, the air conditioner is malfunctioning. I wonder how the hotel will handle its customers? Secondly, the parking lot was far from the hotel and located on the second basement level. After parking, we struggled to walk up the driveway with our luggage, and were exhausted by the time we got back to the hotel. In short, the air conditioning and parking experience were terrible."

"The location is fantastic, situated between Tongren Railway Station and the bus station. It's a 5-6 minute walk to the train station and very easy to find. There's a high-rise building with the four large characters ”Jin Tong International” on it. Go straight to the 24th floor. Both the hotel bathroom and rooms have windows. The room windows are large. The rooms are bright and clean. The hot water is very warm, just like a water heater at home. The landlady is kind, patient, and friendly. My backpack somehow tore open, and she offered to sew it up for me, but I felt bad troubling her, so I sewed it myself. Coincidentally, my check-in day was the Lantern Festival, and I could see the fireworks display in the square outside from my window that evening. There are restaurants downstairs that open early in the morning. The bus station is just around the corner. It's very convenient to get to Fanjingshan. And the price is reasonable."

"The room was clean and tidy, with good hygiene, and a decent amount of space. The surrounding area is convenient and transportation is easy. The front desk staff had a good attitude. I stayed for several nights in a row and will definitely come back again. This is a great hotel."

"The hotel is very close to the train station, and it only takes ten minutes to walk from the room to the train station. The lady boss is very considerate and will get up early to cook eggs for the guests. When checking out in the morning to catch the train, the boss enthusiastically reminded me not to forget to take the eggs, which was very touching. There are coffee and other drinks and small snacks and desserts available at the front desk. The room also provides a washing machine, a disinfection cabinet and a smart toilet. The price-performance ratio of this hotel is quite high. The only drawback is that the window sound insulation is a bit poor. You can hear the sound of the train, and wearing earplugs does not affect your sleep. The hotel has free parking, and it is very convenient to park and return the car when renting a car for a self-driving tour."

"Pretty good. It's very close to the train station, which was convenient since I arrived late that evening and needed to head to Fanjing Mountain early the next morning. The hotel is also very close to the bus station, and the shuttle bus to the scenic area picks up right outside. My only complaint is that after checking out in the morning, I waited for the bus and suddenly felt unwell (my own issue, really). I went back to the front desk to ask if I could use a restroom, and the staff member just told me there wasn't one available and to find one outside. Where was I supposed to go? It felt like once I checked out, I was no longer a guest. A bit frustrating. 😮💨"

"Very convenient hotel next to tongren railway station, just a walking distance. The hotel is located on the 12 th floor and the same building has restaurants and supermarkets outside. Being so close to the station, I was worried about the noises from the station but it wasn’t that bad! I slept comfortably."

"For the price, this place is great. I needed to be close to the train station and it was right across the street. The bed was very hard, the bathroom is simple with a squat toilet; overall no problems and very clean for the price. I found it a bit confusing trying to find the location the first time and couldn’t find instructions anywhere. So, when you are dropped off on the street in front of the building, walk towards the left side of the building and go into a covered walkway “under” the building towards the back. It winds a bit but you are looking for an entrance labeled C6, then the hallway takes you to the right until you see the elevators, and go to level 18."
