"Environment: The environment is quite good. Stepping out from the first floor, you're greeted by a mountain view, perfect for quietly relaxing. The common area on the first floor is also great, which is definitely a plus. Cleanliness: Very poor. The bathroom cleanliness is subpar. If you're particular about hygiene, be aware. Also, having mixed-gender occupants on the same floor sharing a bathroom is quite inconvenient. Hostels I've stayed in before at least had bathrooms that weren't so mini and generally this unhygienic. Room: It's alright. There's a faint woody scent. The bed curtains seem quite old, as most of the hooks have fallen off. Perhaps booking a private room (double bed) would be better. Service: Very frustrating. I arrived quite early, and the beds weren't fully booked, but I was assigned the most inconvenient, hardest-to-climb bed in the corner. I then had to go up and down five flights of stairs twice to change it. Overall, it's just so-so."

"The view from the room is amazing and the location is walking distance from the bus station that takes you from yangshuo station. Although, the room had lots of harmless bugs (flies and moth) which is understandable due to its location right next to the mountain. However the door was wide open upon check in which probably didnt help. The mattress is not the most comfortable so would not recommend long stay. But if the view is worth it one or two nights is probably okay."

"I brought my child to Yangshuo this time and chose the Mercure Yangshuo Liyang (West Street Branch). The experience was absolutely fantastic! The owner, a straightforward and warm-hearted person from Northeast China, treated us like family, which was incredibly touching. The Liyang Hemei Family Suite we stayed in was spacious and bright, decorated in a cozy and comfortable way. My child immediately started playing happily upon entering the room. The hygiene was impeccable; every corner was spotless, so I didn't have to worry about my child crawling around on the floor. The hotel's location is also superb. West Street is right downstairs, making it super convenient to take the child to explore the night market and enjoy snacks in the evening, just a few minutes' walk away. What's even more thoughtful is that electric scooters are available for rent right outside the hotel, and at a much lower price than elsewhere. This made visiting attractions like the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River incredibly convenient with the child. We could go whenever we wanted and stop wherever we liked, completely avoiding crowded buses or taxis. The owner also proactively recommended many hidden local eateries and travel routes, always responsive and quick to help with any request. From the environment and service to the facilities, everything exceeded our expectations. It was a wonderful family trip experience. This will definitely be my first choice again next time I visit Yangshuo. I highly recommend it to everyone! • Location: Prime location, just steps away from the entrance of West Street. It's quiet despite being central, so sleeping at night was very peaceful. • Room: The family room was well-designed with excellent natural light. Opening the window revealed a view full of greenery, instantly lifting our spirits. • Service: Efficient and attentive service from check-in to check-out. The front desk proactively offered travel tips and even helped us arrange a car. • Hygiene: A detail-oriented person's dream! The bathroom was spotless, and the bedding was pristine, making our stay very reassuring. A perfect family trip, we'll definitely be back!"

"The room is new, very clean, and exactly as pictured. The hostess is warm and welcoming. On the last day, I finally got to try the Guilin rice noodles made by the hostess, and they were especially delicious. It's a shame that for the first two days, I was out and about, eating before returning to the hotel. Next time I go to Yangshuo, I'll definitely book here again. The facilities inside are excellent and it's super clean."

"This was my second stay here, and I have to say the location is fantastic! The hotel rents out electric scooters for only 20 RMB a day, which makes exploring the Ten-Mile Gallery and enjoying the delicious food on Yangshuo West Street super convenient. It's also very close to the 'Impression Liu Sanjie' show in the evening. The hotel is right by the road, next to Yangshuo Park, so it's easy to get around whether you're on a scooter or walking. For foodies like me, this hotel is clean, has beautiful mountain views, is convenient for sightseeing, and offers a variety of room types – perfect for a girls' trip, a romantic getaway, or a family vacation. Both the male and female staff at the front desk are incredibly enthusiastic. I highly recommend rooms 302 and 401; they're excellent. There are also rooms with balconies and family rooms available. Both times I've stayed here, the hotel has been quite busy, so remember to book in advance. Choosing a mountain view room is also a great option! I'll definitely pick this hotel again on my next trip to Yangshuo!"

"This guesthouse really gave me an amazing stay, a definite five-star recommendation! ✨ 🌟 Facilities: The private small balcony in the room was incredibly comfortable. Drinking coffee there in the morning and enjoying the night view in the evening was truly therapeutic. The bathroom was spacious, not cramped at all, and the toiletries were very well-stocked, making for an excellent shower experience. 📍 Superb Location: It's just a few minutes' walk to West Street, making it super convenient for dining, shopping, and visiting popular spots. Yet, it's not noisy at all, so sleeping at night was very peaceful. 🛵 Special thanks to the owner! They proactively asked if we needed an electric scooter. The price was great, and the scooter was practically new. Riding the little electric scooter around the area was so liberating and enjoyable~ Overall, the guesthouse is clean and cozy, and you can feel the thoughtfulness in every detail.
