Superb! I stayed for over ten days, and it had almost everything I needed, making it feel like home. The fridge was huge, I could store so much stuff! Initially, I stayed in Suite B, which felt like the ceiling. Every day, opening the sliding door and having breakfast with a mountain view set a great mood for the day. (Suite B offers more privacy; the interior photos are all of Suite B. Suite A is so beautiful from the outside I forgot to take pictures of the interior.) I thought Suite B was the ceiling, but then I checked into Suite A and was completely blown away by its beauty. I couldn't resist staying for another week. The balcony overlooks the entire Lashi Lake; it truly feels like a must-visit destination. I'll definitely come back in winter!

Newly opened in October, you can see the sunrise over Jinshan Mountain right outside. A little further up, there's the Sangu Maolu Observation Deck, which is also beautiful for taking photos. The ancient town is only about 200 to 300 meters away. It was very quiet at night and I slept soundly. The room was well-equipped with good amenities, and the bathrobes were super comfortable. The owner explained that all the water used in the hotel comes from a well over 60 meters underground, meeting first-class drinking standards. Overall, it's clear they've put a lot of thought into every aspect. The staff have also become more friendly, and the locals are warm and welcoming. The service was excellent. They even gave me a bag of local snacks and an oxygen tank before I left.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Mushan Homestay and would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Lijiang. The homestay is run by a lovely Naxi couple, and you can really feel the warmth and care they put into this place. The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. From my room, I could even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which made mornings and sunsets extra special. I slept extremely well here — the bed is very comfortable, and the whole place made me feel at home. Every morning, the owners prepared breakfast for us, and I honestly looked forward to it every day. The food was simple but delicious, especially their pickled vegetables (榨菜) and flatbread (饼) — hands down one of the best things I ate in Yunnan. They also have three adorable dogs, and their son is absolutely adorable 🥰. During my stay, I enjoyed playing with them and taking short walks — it’s only about 3 minutes to Baisha Ancient Town. Mushan is located on the quieter side of Baisha Ancient Town, which I really appreciated. The road leading to the town is cleaner and less sandy. I previously stayed on another side of Baisha where there was construction, making walking less pleasant — Mushan was a much better experience. I spent over a week in Lijiang trying different 民宿, and without a doubt, Mushan is the homestay I would return to. It offers excellent value for money and a truly warm, home-like atmosphere. If you prefer a cozy, welcoming, and peaceful place to stay, I highly recommend Mushan Homestay.

We drove along the Tiger Leaping Gorge all the way to Daju Township. We turned the wrong way on a small road in the fields and accidentally fell into a ditch. Thanks to the help of the owner, we were able to get the car out. The owner and his wife saw that I was alone and invited me to have dinner with them. The food was very homely and delicious. The environment of the B&B is very good. There is a large field of sunflowers in front of the door🌻, a large swimming pool in the yard, and you can sit and watch the snow-capped mountains. It is really a place to relax and unwind. Sitting quietly and watching the scenery will make you feel better. The only thing is that the water pressure and temperature of the shower in the room are not enough, and the drainage is not very good. I hope it can be improved.

Stunning view of the mountain range and surrounding village. The breakfast was personalised to our taste and fresh, the lady who cooked every day was fantastic. The rooms are very clean and modern, with a heated mirror so steam won’t block your view and a heater for colder mornings. The hotel itself is lovely, with a traditional atmosphere. The property has two sweet dogs, too :) We had a great time, I wish I could bring my family next time! ＜3

The room was spacious and clean, equipped with a washing machine, air conditioning, and an electric blanket. It's incredibly close to Baisha Ancient Town and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area. The owner was absolutely wonderful. During our stay, the weather was fantastic, so even late risers like myself could enjoy the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' view right from the room. The rooftop offered an even more expansive view, which was very convenient. Throughout our stay, the owner and their family were incredibly warm and thoughtful. They even reminded us to take our masks when going out due to the strong UV rays and packed us a bag full of bottled water and fruit, saving us from buying expensive items at the scenic spots. On the day we visited Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, they noticed we were returning late. Later, we heard the cable cars had stopped due to strong winds that afternoon. The owner, worried we might be stranded, called to check if we had made it back and asked if we needed a ride from the scenic area, showing genuine concern for our safety. Upon our return, when they heard we were experiencing altitude sickness, they even offered oxygen from their own home – truly amazing, so kind it just warms your heart. I promised them I would write a good review, and though it's a bit late, I haven't forgotten. This trip taught me that beyond the beautiful scenery, the people of Yunnan make the province even more charming. It was fun, comfortable, and I'll definitely be back!

The hotel is located inside the ancient town, and the taxi drop-off point is very close, so carrying luggage won't be a problem; the owner will come to help with luggage in a tricycle. There's a free parking lot, which is great 😊 The scenery in the hotel courtyard is beautiful; you can see snow-capped mountains 🏔️ just by stepping out of the hotel. There are also many places to eat nearby, and the owner is very accommodating 😊

Stay less than 24 hours there so my experience must not enough to describe fully the service. When I was arrive there the receptionist seems close already, I try contact via Trip.com but it linked to phone hotel which its difficult for me to call the owner as mostly thehy can't speak in English. I hope the owner makes initiative to answer guest that booking via third party like Agoda or Trip.com so it will be easier for me. The room I book not provided aircond and no showercap or basic toiletries given, usually hoteel.provide like tooth brush, tooth paste but nothing was there maybe they forgot to replenish I don't know as I also check in late around 9pm. Overall , its a strategic locstion for those who want to catch up train early morning because the hotel location just like 400m away from Ljiang railway station (high speed train)

The location is near to HuTuWo farm which is walkable 15 mins, it's about 40 mins +- if you take a taxi from LiJiang Ancient to BaiSha Ancient Town. We enjoy the famous local speciality - rose bun by ManTou Shiren and XiaoLongBao and GuanTangBao nearby. This hostel is located at BaiSha Ancient Town which have a perfect scenery view for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. But too bad there is bad weather when we arrive there so we couldnot have a clear view but we do enjoy the stay there. But outside the room is open living area with many trees and we found out small insect appear in our room that cause us very scary and could not sleep well but the PIC did come to help and take off the insect after non-stop several calls at 10.30pm 😬 The photos with animal is in HuTuWo which is walkable 15 mins from this hostel.

My 3 nights stay here has been nothing but amazing. The location is a short 5mins walk away from Baisha Old Town. There are lots of food and shops to visit around that area and it's not really crowded with tourists as compared to Lijiang Old Town. This accommodation is very quiet and peaceful. The view from my room was fantastic - old rustic traditional buildings sit in front of a gorgeous mountain view. At night, if the skies are clear, you could take a stroll out of the hotel and you'll find the skies fully decorated with stars. Day or night, I am blessed with lovely sceneries. The staff that handled my stay was really nice and always greeted me with smiles. The check-in process is fuss free and I could always communicate with the staff here through WeChat App. As a backpacker, laundry is very important. There is a shared washing machine. Perfect for me who needs to have my laundry done regularly. Definitely a recommended place to stay if you're looking for a room away from the city crowds, with nice atmosphere/views and near Baisha Old Town.
