"The only thing good about this hostel is location. I stayed few days there. I saw housekeeping not really done properly, room not vacuumed, shower cream not replaced, everything on the shared table in the room was dumped, even a plate! Charging point not working in most bed. Kitchen only have one microwave, 3 fridges but don’t put your things in there, because there were thieves who steal food! Check in after 7pm is a messed and chaos few days ago, or everyday I not sure. System down, people queueing not because business was too good. Was told it happened daily."

Hello, we are located just a 5-minute walk (350 metres) from the main entrance of Venice Mestre Train Station. This is ideal for independent travellers or family trips with young children. We have a kitchen to cater to your Chinese culinary preferences. The area below is a residential neighbourhood, very quiet and safe, with various supermarkets nearby for convenient shopping and cooking. The suite consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, and 3 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, while the third shares a bathroom. We provide a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, iron, wireless WiFi, and air conditioning/heating. We can also arrange paid airport transfers. There is a small courtyard with parking spaces, but these are paid. Free parking is available nearby. Transportation is very convenient, with a 5-minute walk to the train station for direct access to the island, a 9-minute walk to the bus station for direct access to the island, and airport shuttle buses, Flixbus, and BlaBlaCar available. "The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable to sleep! ! Although it is a public bathroom, because there are two rooms shared, there is basically no need to queue up, which is quite convenient. There are three keys to ensure safety. Hahaha. There are many Chinese restaurants and Asian Chao around. The station is also close. I should stay again. :)"

"This hostel is quite large, offering plenty of space for activities, but the signage isn't very clear, and I couldn't find any information detailing the layout of different areas. The bedside lamp in my bunk was broken, and there was no privacy curtain. The kitchen area was very messy, and the cups on the shelves in the cupboards were inexplicably dirty. They don't provide water or coffee, nor do they offer towels or toiletries. On the positive side, there was a Chinese receptionist who was exceptionally kind and helpful. Also, the view from the room's window was lovely for watching the sunset, and there were plenty of hooks for hanging things. The location in Mestre is quite good."

"The scenery of Venice is great. This hotel is located in the center of the main island, and it is relatively convenient to walk anywhere. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the train station. The hotel is relatively old (all hotels on the island are old buildings), so there is no elevator. You have to walk up the stairs with your luggage to the room."

"First of all, it is an apartment, not a hotel - accordingly there is no resepchen. Second , with settlement no problems, I wrote a message to the host in advance about the time of arrival , he came to this hour. It says the settlement has been 2 p.m. but we were lucky and he was able to settle us at 12 . When booking a room on the tripcom it was stated that the tax is 3€, however, we were asked for 4€ per person of 8€. In the apartment 4 living rooms and a sauna, kitchens are not available, the equipment has a teapot, a refrigerator and a fan. Everything was clean, in the closet there were additional blankets and pillows. Batteries are included on time at 3 a.m. Evict until 10: 00, before leaving, are asked to close the room and the keys to throw in the mailbox."

"The staff were very warm and friendly, the breakfast was very family restaurant atmosphere, the check in was a little late, the front desk also let us stay smoothly, there are oranges and lemon trees planted by the hotel downstairs, very cute. Overall satisfaction!"

"Room and bathrooms were clean. Showers felt like not a lot of privacy offered with fogged glass separating you and everyone and everyone else in the bathroom. Common areas were fun and social. Location was not on main island Venice which meant it was challenging to get home during Italian transport strikes, with limited water bus services. Please be prepared in advance for this. Otherwise it might be more convenient to stay on main island Venice."

SScapyBecause of the financial burden, I decided to stay in a place before the station instead of the main island of Venice, but the location was close to the station, so I wasn't afraid to go alone as a woman, and there was a large mart nearby, so it was good for shopping! The facilities were clean and nice enough to make me want to stay in the hotel longer, and I was really touched when I was greeted with a handwritten welcome postcard as soon as I entered!! If I go to Venice again, I'll choose this place again!!!

GGuest UserEven though it was on the main island of Venice, I booked it because it was cheaper than other hotels, and the room was very nice! It was also helpful that the staff showed me to my room when I checked in. ✨ The breakfast was also delicious, so I recommend it! However, I couldn't figure out where to turn on the light in the bathroom, and the shower area couldn't be locked, so if you're concerned about privacy, you might want to avoid it.

GGuest UserTheres no elevator but I dont mind they put me in the second floor , first door to the right , nice carpeted hallway so you dont hear people talking …..nice room, nice bathroom, nice bed… smells good. its the Best! And its very quiet. I will miss the very nice smell and delicate texture of the shower gel. I left at 11:30PM and the narrow street is not dark at all. There were people coming toward me on the narrow street that night. This will be my hotel when I come back again.

BBuduThe room was big and spacious , and the view from our hotel was also good . We really liked and enjoyed . The only issue we had is the bathroom , it was on the second floor and we are on the first floor. When we asked about it on the reception , the staff on the time at 2 pm on 18-3 was quite rude. I dont know why she need to yell. Its better to say in a polite manner.

KKara TaiThe hotel location is great! Very close to everything. The service is excellent. The manager is very pleasant and helpful. You can check out and leave your luggage and then come back to rest in the restaurant if needed. Be prepared for noises. Venice is so touristy and there is not a lot of soundproofing. I use earplugs when I sleep so it wasn’t much of a problem for me. Be prepared to buy bottled water. Bring your own amenities like body wash, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrush, these items are not given at the hotel. The bed is comfortable and the heat works very well. Overall it is recommended for a good rest and a central location.

RRaluca DascalitaI stayed at La Pergola for 3 nights and it felt very homey to me, like a student dorm room. It was easy to reach from the Lido SME station, very quiet, my room had plenty of light, a desk to do some work, internet was working properly in the room though I was at the second floor. The bed was comfy, bed linen was clean, the water was warm and shower had pressure, though the shower head had some holes clogged. All the basics are there, coffee in the morning is included, and -despite the fact that the room could use a deep cleaning - I think it was great value for money, much better than expected given the previous reviews. This place will be on my return list in my future travels to Venice.

GGuest UserThis is a really lovely little hotel. It's small but perfectly formed, and the reception is just down the road at another hotel. It's the perfect place for a short stay of one or two nights, especially since it's really close to the train station. We were very grateful that they let us in at 1am. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful. The breakfasts are really good too, especially when you consider the Italian norm of just espresso and croissants.

KKaty16The service was liked, left things in the morning and was furnished to walk. Settled in time, the room is small but everything for convenience is. The bathroom is visible to be renovated. There were soap facilities, fan, towels. For breakfast, cruassan, 2 buffets, jams, coffee. The hotel location is excellent. Of the shortcomings: it was a little dusty in the room and it was cool as well, but there are blankets and climate control.

GGuest UserNo physical reception. Hotel difficult to find by the address given. We had to put the name of the hotel located opposite to find it more easily. Once in front of it, you have to call the number written on the door and it was not correct, however I had the one indicated in the reservation. Once inside, there is a pocket with the name and the room key on the reception counter and we have to look for our room. to just arrive, drop off your suitcases and leave it is okay but otherwise I would not recommend it.

TTatty SGood day! We stayed in Venice for two nights, chose this hotel because of the location! And we were not mistaken! We arrived at the train station, got out, immediately to the left, five minutes and we are there! No stairs along the way, no narrow, confusing streets, very convenient! We were checked in right away, the room was small, bright, the bed was clean. The toilet and bathroom were shared, not in the room. The cleanliness there is a C. Otherwise, if you need a hotel to spend the night, it will do) We visited all the sights on foot! Everything is nearby, Venice is beautiful!
