"I chose a room with shared bathroom facilities and a tatami mat. The toilet was very close by and clean, and the shower was decent too. It was snowing continuously, so I'd suggest they help wipe off luggage at the entrance; otherwise, it'd mess up the room when you come in. The air conditioning worked great, but the faucet in the room's sink needed a lot of force to turn off completely. The hotel was a bit hard to find; with all the snow, I couldn't see the sign. On the day I checked in, there were so many cars parked outside that I didn't even realize it was the hotel entrance. The front desk staff was excellent and very friendly. If you go out, you need to return your room key to the front desk."

"The location was great, only a 5-minute walk from Maruyama-koen Station. The room felt nice and was very clean. It had a kitchen with a large refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, and electric stove. There were also two sinks, which was perfect for the four of us. Wi-Fi was available, and there's a supermarket nearby.
However, upon arrival, there was a sign for the front desk on the 3rd floor, and when I got into the elevator, it wouldn't move without a 3-digit code. I didn't know about this, and I'm not sure if I was informed of it beforehand. It caused some hassle during check-in, which is self-service. I eventually had to call to complete the check-in process."

"Incredible value for money stay in the heart of Sapporo. I have never stayed in a capsule hotel before which made me hesitant to book this hotel, however I am so glad that I chose it. The location is unbeatable, in the very heart of Sapporo, in Susukino district. There is an endless amount of izakaya and restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. The onsen and sauna was the best I have visited in Japan so far. I have heard the sauna is famous across Japan, and I can see why. It is kept impeccably clean and the entire facility is well maintained. The amenities such as unlimited towels, toothbrushes, razors and hair products are a great touch too. The capsule hotel itself was great, like the rest of the property, spotless clean and well kept. Despite being a capsule hotel, I heard no snoring for disturbance during the night. The breakfast was delicious and excellent value. Upon checkout, I requested to book again due to my great experience."

"This hotel is excellent overall, with a superb location just a 4-minute walk from Susukino subway station. All facilities and services are satisfying, and the environment is exceptionally clean. The hotel features separate floors for men and women (including separate elevators and floors), significantly enhancing privacy and safety. The self-check-in system is also very convenient, minimizing unnecessary human contact. ☃️
The hotel provides disposable slippers daily. Although there's no daily room cleaning service, it doesn't affect the overall experience at all. I stayed in a deluxe room on the 7th floor. Guests on this floor are generally very considerate, always tidying up after using public facilities, making the entire floor feel clean and comfortable. The bed in the deluxe room is spacious and can comfortably accommodate two people.
The only minor drawback is that you have to continuously press a button to keep the shower running; it doesn't provide continuous water flow once turned on. You need to press it every few tens of seconds, which is a bit inconvenient. 🥹"

"This trip, I traveled solo as a woman. The accommodation is only 700 meters from the train station, and important areas like Susukino and the bus stop are not far at all. Plus, there are plenty of shops nearby, including a Lawson convenience store. The area around the hotel isn't isolated, making it perfect for solo travelers. The room is small but very clean and comfortable for one person. I could easily open my suitcase. The bathroom is clean, and there's a heater in the room. There's a very large TV that connects to YouTube, and the hotel's Wi-Fi is super strong. Check-in was easy using a self-check-in machine. Free breakfast is included, which consists of fresh coffee from a machine and some bread. Laundry and drying services are also available if needed, though there might be an additional charge. Overall, it's an excellent hotel for this price – truly fantastic! If any Thais see this post, I highly recommend booking it. It's cheap, economical, and comfortable."

"Stay Mid May 2026. The female dormitory is clean. They have humidifier and heater in room. You have to change the bedsheet, pillow cover, duvet by yourself. Towel, earplug, razor, toothbrush are provided. They have chiiler & freezer to keep you food. The kitchen also if you want to cook. Coffee and tea are free all day. Located only 5 min walk to Susukino and 15 min walk to.Sapporo Station."

"There was an issue with my capsule hotel booking, and to top it off, Sapporo experienced heavy snowfall, causing the JR airport line to shut down. By the time I finally made it to the city center, the subway and buses had stopped running. Luckily, I spontaneously booked this place, and it's within walking distance of Sapporo JR Station. Given the price, I didn't have high expectations. I just pulled the curtain, put in my earplugs, and slept soundly until morning. It's a decent option for a solo traveler needing a last-minute overnight stay."

"It was very convenient as it was right in front of Kita 18-jo Station. There were My Basket, Seicomart, Seims, a bakery, a pasta restaurant, and more nearby.
The free space on the second floor was spacious and comfortable, with a mini-kitchen and microwave.
The shower rooms were shared, but there were about four of them, they were clean, and there was a hairdryer, which was great. Fresh bath towels were provided daily. There were no regular-sized towels. Also, toothbrushes and slippers are available for a fee, so I recommend bringing your own.
The staff were kind and provided excellent service. I would like to stay here again when I visit Sapporo."

WWanLing1005I had a wonderful stay at Pension Setsurin! The tatami room was an amazing and authentic experience, making my trip truly special. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, even asking about food sensitivities to accommodate my breakfast, which I really appreciated.
The breakfast is definitely worth trying—it’s rich, diverse, and full of traditional Japanese flavors. There’s even anime playing during breakfast, which adds a fun cultural touch to the experience.
All toiletries were fully provided, so I didn’t need to bring anything extra. I stayed on the second floor, so just keep in mind you’ll need to carry your luggage upstairs.
A special thank you to the host for going the extra mile—when I checked out, they even helped clear the snow off my car, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend Pension Setsurin for anyone looking for a warm and authentic stay!

Walking with luggage in the snow can be a bit tricky though, so it’s better to take it slow to avoid slipping. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay: the hotel offers self check-in and check out, and there is complimentary coffee and matcha latte available for guests. The only downside was that the body wash felt a little harsh on my skin, so I would recommend bringing your own if you have sensitive skin.

There are only a few private shower rooms on the third floor. However, the public bath on the 8th floor is very spacious and includes hot and cold plunge pools, as well as a sauna.
The hotel provides indoor wear for guests, but complimentary drinking water is not available.

AAnonymous UserThis is an older hotel, but it's very clean. I booked it because I wanted to stay somewhere close to Sapporo Station for my last day before heading to the airport. I only planned to stay one night, but it really exceeded my expectations. Plus, Kani Honke (a famous crab restaurant) is right next door, so you can just walk in, get a number, and then wait in your room until it's your turn. The booking said breakfast wasn't included, but they actually give you a voucher for the place next door. You can choose between a sandwich, hot dog, or toast, and it was quite tasty.

The building’s exterior looked like something out of Ghibli movie, and the interior felt like a cozy tavern from an anime. The room, toilet, and bath were all very clean. Highly recommended for budget travelers who value cleanliness and comfort. I wish I’d had time to try a meal at their restaurant. It looked inviting..

XXinshoucundehabibiThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to a subway station 🚉, and there's a Lawson convenience store downstairs. For dining, you can walk all the way to Susukino. Nakajima Park, which is beautiful in winter, is also nearby.
However, the room had a strange smell. When I reported it, they wouldn't let me check out, so I was stuck with the smell for two days. Ctrip's mediation service was very helpful, but the hotel's response was just unbelievable.

DDevendra NI had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Sapporo. They kindly allowed me an early check-in, which made my trip so much more comfortable and stress-free.
The interior design is beautiful and modern, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the human-less (self) check-in system — it was smooth, quick, and very convenient.
The highlight of my stay was definitely the amazing jacuzzi bathtub. It was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the city.
Overall, this was one of my best stays in Sapporo. Highly recommended!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The facilities were good and the place was comfortable. We especially enjoyed the onsen, which was very relaxing after a long day.
One thing to note is the location 🙂it is not very convenient without a car, so I would recommend driving. If you have a car, then everything is fine and easy to get around.
Service was decent overall, and everything went quite smoothly. There is still some room for improvement, but it was a good experience and worth the price.
Would consider staying again.
