"Holiday Inn, owned by InterContinental, has always been the first choice for working families to go on vacation. The breakfast, bedding, hygiene and service are quite satisfactory. Fortunately, I was able to enjoy the bar concert in the ventilation duct for free for 2 consecutive nights, which was full of Mexican flavor! However, the deposit has not been returned after 2 weeks!"

"The hotel was a fairly new property. It had a contemporary vibe which I like. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and I wanted to know where they bought the pillows - they were that nice. The room was clean but there was a large brown stain on the carpet. The breakfast was as expected but even at close to 10:00 there was still ample food to choose from - bagels, fruits, yogurt, waffles, sausage, eggs. I would gladly return if in the area. Oh, and the young man at the desk was awfully helpful. If correct, I believe his name is Liquit."

"Our experience was solid. Here are my pros and cons Pros: The pricing was fair. Rooms, for the most part, are clean and maintained. Rooms are spacious. The position of the aircon is good, doesn't blow straight at you like some other places. The Room didn't smell. Both the shower and sink have good water pressure. The service was solid, the lady we met was welcoming and she got straight to the point. Rooms are equipped with a microwave and fridge which is convenient. The beds are spacious and the mattress is supportive. Cons. The carpet in the room as well as the tiles in the bathroom are a bit sticky. Not sure if that's due to the high moisture or if they are not cleaned well. Some might find it nasty. The gym only has a cable machine which is alright but some more equipment would have been much better. They advertise saying they have a great breakfast however it isn't anything crazy. Just some eggs, waffles that you have to make yourself, and some coffee. Not much variety overall. This is nitpicky, but the furniture is a bit old and could use some polish/maintenance. The biggest con for me was the location, its located right beside the frontage road which is in theory good, but during rush hour the road becomes completely jammed with cars. Especially at the time of writing this review because there is a lot of construction going on nearby so driving in and out of the residence can be dangerous and annoying. Overall: This place is great for staying a couple nights on a short trip however I wouldn't recommend staying here long term. Its safe and has mostly everything you need."

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The check-in process was quick and hassle-free, allowing me to start relaxing right away. My room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect rest after a long day of travel. The room’s modern amenities, including a large flat-screen TV and fast Wi-Fi, made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my visit was the complimentary breakfast offered each morning. The selection was impressive, with a variety of options to suit every taste. Whether I was in the mood for something light like fresh fruit and yogurt or something more hearty like waffles and eggs, there was always something delicious to start my day off right. The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs, being just minutes away from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The complimentary shuttle service was a huge convenience, making my travel to and from the airport effortless. Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel was quiet and peaceful, ensuring a restful stay. The hotel’s amenities, including the well-maintained fitness center and inviting outdoor pool, added to the overall experience. It was nice to have these options available to unwind after a busy day. Overall, my stay at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Airport was excellent. "I was extremely upset to see a movie with nudity and a scene of a nude man and a woman having sex (AKA porn) on the lobby / breakfast room television. I was even more upset when after asking the the manager, Diana, to change the channel she came into the area and I instead of just changing the channel to something more appropriate, asked the man seated behind me if it was okay for her to change the channel as if something like that was up for a vote among guests instead of hotel policy. To say I was angry at the way she mis-handled this would be an understatement . Despite the fact I stayed at this Hampton at least a half dozen times last year or so , I won’t be returning. Keep porn off public televisions and teach managers how to deal with matters of corporate policy would be my suggestion Hampton/Hilton. Otherwise the location is good and the rooms are clean. Too bad they allow unclean programming to be played on their television in the public area. Thankfully no children were in there at the time this occurred. "

"This place is not really a hotel. It gives off more of a motel vibe. The building is heavily outdated, with crumbling walls and stains. Our room was average. Bed was comfortable and clean. Our room had a little bit of trash in it (candy wrappers, etc). The toilet did not flush for me and there was peeling wall paper in the bathroom. Shower temperature was poor and was only lukewarm at best. I most likely will not stay here again. The facilities need a huge update."

"Come to Austin mainly to see the UT campus where the children used to study. The hotel is not far from the campus. The hotel staff is warm and the room is clean and tidy. The fly in the ointment is that the air conditioner in the room is split. The sound is too loud when booting, affecting the living feeling."
