It is located on the west side of the Summer Resort in the center of Chengde. It is a 2-minute walk from the main entrance of the Summer Resort. It has a superior geographical location. The walking circle around the hotel covers the large fast food restaurant "Express Kitchen", Erxianju Night Market, Jinlong Shopping Plaza, Royal Guandi Temple and Chengde Central Hospital, and a bus stop is set in front of it. It takes 15 minutes to directly reach the World Cultural Heritage "U Ba Temples" building complex, and 25 minutes to reach the high-speed rail station, which is convenient to transport. The hotel is equipped with a buffet breakfast, free 24-hour laundry, Wi-Fi, coffee, and a specialty snack shop and local specialty shops. Staying at this hotel is an ideal choice for travel, shopping, shopping and experiencing Chengde Royal Garden culture and humanistic style.
"The room was clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was good. It's only a few minutes from the Mountain Resort, and right next to a express restaurant. The bus stop is right outside. Special shout-out to the front desk staff for their attentive and enthusiastic service. The cleaning staff cleaned daily. The toilet was electric, and the wet and dry areas were well-separated. The shower had good water pressure and drained well, no standing water. Very satisfied."

"I visited the Chengde Mountain Resort during the May Day holiday. After looking at many hotels online, I finally booked the Ji Hotel. The hotel is located in a residential area with its own parking lot, which is very convenient. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel environment is excellent. There's a laundry room and a gym on the B1 level. On a rainy day, my outer clothes got wet, but they were all clean and dry by the time I got back to the hotel – very convenient! Before checking in, because I wasn't familiar with the area or how to explore the Chengde Mountain Resort, I contacted the hotel staff in advance. Xiao Ai handled everything for me; she was incredibly helpful, providing advice on transportation, tickets, and routes. We even happened to arrive when she was on duty, which felt like meeting an online friend in person – it was very friendly!"

The hotel has been recently renovated, so the facilities are very new, everything is clean, and the service is attentive. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere, and there are all sorts of restaurants, big and small, nearby, so dining is a breeze."

"The room was exactly as pictured, the environment was very nice and clean. My friend and I booked a twin room, and the basic amenities were complete. The toiletries were individually packaged, which was very hygienic. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful, promptly resolving any issues. "The environment is beautiful, a true feast for the eyes and a perfect place to relax. It's wonderful for some alone time. There's a pool on the third floor where you can swim while enjoying the lush green mountains and trees, as well as the stars in the sky. Outside the courtyard, you can barbecue and fish. Downstairs, there's a mahjong room and a cozy reading nook. I stayed for two days and didn't encounter any mosquitoes. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a wet/dry separation. Looking out the window at the vibrant green trees instantly lifted my mood. You can even see the sky through the roof! There's a bar area where you can enjoy afternoon tea. The noodles made by the owner were delicious, and the afternoon tea was great too. The cleaning lady was very friendly; she even offered to take me on her e-bike to explore the nearby scenic spots if I visit again. When I checked in, it was raining, and the owner drove me to the station. My first impression of Chengde was fantastic, and I'm already looking forward to my next relaxing trip here."

"This hotel deserves a five-star rating for its front desk service, which was far superior to the treatment I received at the Yage Huanju Hotel in Beidaihe. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, thoughtful, and anticipated all our needs. Although the parking lot is small, the attendants proactively helped us park the car. The restaurant staff were patient and provided timely service. All the hotel staff made us feel well taken care of and right at home. The only drawbacks were that the room was a bit small, and the ceiling height was low, which felt a little cramped. The outer pane of the double-glazed window was quite dirty, likely due to the difficulty of cleaning it."

Guest UserIt was a hasty decision, but it was a pleasant surprise! Unlike many B&Bs and camping options, this is a hidden gem nestled in a valley, offering a sense of privacy. The entire site seamlessly blends in with the surrounding nature, creating a seamless experience. Speaking of which, a beachfront hotel has a private beach, and here, there's even a private forest! Enjoy the mountain freely, and both adults and children can find their own unique adventure! In just a few days, we enjoyed the convenience of climbing the mountain with our eyes open or closed. And there's a truly amazing barista!
The accommodations were also very comfortable and clean! It was a great place to bring our kids!
Looking forward to the early completion of the private hot spring courtyard!

The hotel is directly opposite the Bifengmen parking lot, and it's about a 20-minute walk to Lizheng Gate of the Mountain Resort. The quad room with bunk beds was very family-friendly for our family with two children.
While the hotel's facilities are fairly basic, I must particularly praise their excellent 9.9 Mountain Resort day tour and the front desk staff.
First, regarding the Mountain Resort day tour: it lasted a full 5 hours, and our guide, Xiao Qi, didn't waste a single minute. He provided thorough explanations, meticulously planned our route, and there were absolutely no sales pitches or additional charges. For such an honest and dedicated guide, the hotel deserves a huge commendation!
And then there's the front desk staff – every single person was beaming with smiles. They offered detailed information, provided attentive service, and went above and beyond to assist with any request. They even helped us cut a watermelon we bought, booked tickets for a show, and thoughtfully provided cushions for us as we were heading out. Truly heartwarming service!
Hidden gem: Just down the stairs next to the hotel is the Temple of Confucius. Plus, there's a highly popular lamb soup spot nearby, serving delicious *shaobing* (sesame flatbreads)!

Guest UserThis hotel offers great value for money, and even includes a free guided tour of the Mountain Resort. I have to commend the guide; their explanations were incredibly detailed and easy to understand – truly made the trip worthwhile. Also, a big shout-out to Xiao Hu at the front desk. Their service was exceptional; they actively helped me find a parking spot and coordinated the charging station late at night. I'd definitely come back to Vienna Hotel Chengde Mountain Resort if I get the chance.

Yanming Lake Hotel gave me the most profound impression during my trip this year. I am very satisfied with the environment and tent room. When we checked in that day, a total of four families stayed in tents. It was very quiet and the scenery was super beautiful. I regretted why I didn’t choose this place on the first day. It was only half an hour away from Ulan Butong. Shortly after checking in that day, it started to rain. There was thunder and lightning, and I even photographed beautiful lightning. You can feel the wind and rain outside in the tent. Then the power went out for ten minutes. Rainwater also began to flow into the house from the cracks in the tent. I was a little panicked at first and asked customer service. The customer service said not to worry, as the rain would be lighter and I could change to another tent. Later I discovered that as long as it wasn’t windy, it wouldn’t matter if it rained (it rained heavily that night, so I slept very soundly). I also encountered a wild deer running wild by the lake. I asked customer service and they said it was not raised by them and it should be wild. You can really reserve a day for Yanming Lake and just stay there. Looking at the endless grassland at the entrance of the tent, you feel so relaxed. The only regret was that it was raining and I couldn't see the stars in the sky. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. The tents here can be said to be the ceiling of the camping industry. Friends who like grasslands and outdoors must come.

DoufukuaireleEnvironment: The hotel is near Puning Temple, about 10 minutes' drive from the Summer Resort. There is its own free parking lot in front of the hotel with a moderate number of parking spaces.
Facilities: The room space is moderate and the curtains are fully automatic. Because it is adjacent to the road, it is a bit noisy when vehicles pass by outside.
Hygiene: The cleaning aunt cleans relatively cleanly
Service: The front desk staff has a warm service attitude. The air conditioner in the room needs to be turned on manually by the front desk, which is solved in a timely manner. I don’t know if the breakfast room is understaffed, but when I enter the door, the aunt reminds me that I need to put the finished dishes into the kitchen waste cart. If you want to eat poached eggs, you need to fry them yourself.

PablitolocokimI don’t speak Chinese, but the staff there were very friendly and helpful. From checking in to checking out, the front desk staff helped me like a personal assistant. She even scheduled a massage and taxi service. Local guests I met at the hot pools were also very nice and welcoming. This is somewhat old place, but I like places with history. Be aware of the large portion of dishes you get at the restaurant. I couldn’t finish all the dishes as a solo traveler.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and fresh air, and both the facilities and cleanliness are impeccable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I have to complain about a front desk staff member who answered the phone between 7 and 10 PM on the 31st. The first time I reported the washing machine wasn't working, she actually told me it was leaking and advised me not to use it. I ended up fixing and using it myself. The second time I called about the shower water not getting hot, her response was even more ridiculous: she told me to just keep running the water until it got hot. I wasted nearly half an hour, and the water never got warm. In the end, a housekeeping staff member came and simply inserted the gas card, which solved the problem. What's worse is her terrible attitude; she was argumentative and refused to admit her incompetence in handling issues, acting as if she knew everything. She definitely deserves a bad review! On another note, the hotel is very close to Jinshanling Great Wall, which is absolutely worth a visit!
