"Located right in the middle of 春熙路, it is close to everything in the busy shopping street.
Staff is very helpful and friendly and very apologetic when we had to change our booking plans.
Booking page indicates the room is equipped with Smart Room management system but it does not actually. When we enquire with the staff, we were told there never was any smart room facilities in their rooms. It is kinda false advertising and we felt so shortchanged by it that we decided to cancel our booking for the rest of the days and left the same night we arrived."

"First, the hotel signage name hasn't changed. Tell the taxi driver ”XIPU- HIDDEN CULTURE HOTEL” and you'll be confused. The original name was ”JIANGUO HIDDEN HOTEL /”. Second, you have to take the elevator to the 2nd floor, walk to the restaurant, and then take the elevator again to your room... I met an old Chinese man who blocked my way to my room... The advantage is that it's not far from the IFS building."

- The room has a big bathtub and beautiful lighting that creates a cozy, romantic atmosphere
- Free laundry service and overall perfect service and attitude
- Rooms are arranged vertically, so you might need to carry your luggage upstairs
- The room is well equipped: a mini fridge, hot water station, TV, towels, and slippers, etc.
Recommendation: Since the place has such a relaxing vibe, it would be amazing if the hotel also provided bathrobes.

The twin room I booked at first had windows that didn't close tightly and faced the street market, which was extremely noisy.
Then I went to the front desk to change rooms, and they told me that only twin beds faced the street market, and asked me to pay more.
I paid more, and changed to a room that didn't face the street market. If the next room was a little louder, I could hear it? ?
The soundproofing is terrible. It's not worth the price."

"Fantastic hotel perfectly located - only a few minutes walking distance from Chunxi Road metro station (line 3). I came by chance to this hotel as the previous one I stayed 2 nights was fully booked for the 3rd night. If I knew I would have definitely selected this hotel for the 3 nights. I loved it. Especially the room temperature is amazing = 24 degrees (of course there is AC if you want to cooler). Perfect for a wonderful warm night. It was night and clean too. And the personnel very friendly. I recommend this hotel to whomever want to be centrally located to Chengdu ! There are also lots of shops around (for food etc.) . Amenities are also included. To summarize all was perfect and I will definitely come back to this hotel when I go back in Chengdu !"

The price of cocktails is a bit expensive. It is about the same as the pricing level in Shanghai. The hotel corridor looks very ordinary. The room is generally very good and clean. The location of Huapaifang is very convenient. Wenjiaxiang and other places nearby can feel the atmosphere of the old community in Chengdu. It is very relaxing and comfortable. I like it very much. I spent a wonderful May Day holiday!

We went to see the 'blue tears' at night, which turned out to be just lights, but there were a lot of people. MMeng HengI didn't expect to get an accommodation with such a good price. Service staff is professional, polite and helpful. The room is high-tech with a voice activated control. Room is clean with all the needed appliances for a traveler. Housekeeping is done right with all tidy up and cleaned. There is also a mini-gym and a laundry room. I would expect all these facilities in a 4-star hotel.
Location is excellent! It is near Chunxi Road within walking distance of about 10mins. Nearby there are also several eateries. If you like to explore a local wet market, there is one right behind the hotel where you can witness how the locals do their groceries shopping in the morning. Behind the hotel, it is actually a seafood street where shops sell all the live seafood - go take a look, interesting!
For supper, if you do not mind street food, there is a stall selling Sichuan local dishes like noodles, dumpings, etc. It is operated by a young couple - they set up their stall from 10pm onwards until 6am next morning.
Kudos to the management. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Chengdu!

The location was excellent! It was just a short walk to the subway, which made getting around the city and reaching IFS incredibly convenient.
The staff were all very nice and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed.
My room was beautifully decorated and gave me a real sense that my trip had started the moment I stepped in. It was both comfortable and stylish. Breakfast was another highlight, with a good selection that set me up well for the day ahead.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming, making it a pleasant place to return to after exploring the city. I mostly biked from the hotel to the sightseeing spots, which was easy and enjoyable thanks to its central location.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting

The staff are all incredibly friendly and, impressively, they all speak English. Daily breakfast and coffee are included, and staying for two days was absolutely wonderful. This place is very popular with foreign tourists, including families and groups, so accommodations get booked up quickly. Advance booking is definitely recommended, and it's best to communicate your group size and any specific needs to the owner beforehand. I always choose to stay here whenever I visit Chengdu. The beds are incredibly comfortable; the owner told me they were all replaced last year as part of a recent renovation. Consequently, amenities like the toilets, washing machines, and dryers are also brand new. They genuinely keep up with the times and prioritize their customers' needs – what's not to love about a place like that? I definitely hope to visit again.

AAnonymous UserThe service was amazing. The front desk staff lady was extremely nice, approachable, and helpful, even at 4am. The hotel staff as a whole is there whenever you need help and offers speedy assistance with superb customer service. The security is good as well. If you're a foreigner, the staff makes you feel taken care of and welcome, so don't worry about feeling out of place if you're foreign. The location is a bit far from where it's poppin in downtown Chengdu and the panda sanctuary, but the location is quiet and away from any noise. There are some small restaurants and convenience stores less than a minute walk away from the hotel, so the location is also good in that regard. As for room hygiene, the sink drain had a very bad smell that would only go away when we would wash our hands or faces, but the smell would come back quickly. It wasn't too bad unless we walked by the sink. The bathroom was relatively clean but the drain would occasionally smell, though not as bad as the sink drain. The shower mat it came with was dirty but we didn't use the shower mat. The toilet was rather clean as well as the rest of the room. Ayis did a fine job of cleaning, especially since we stayed for 5 days. The lobby and hallways were also clean. The laundry room's washer and dryer are free and operate in great condition. This hotel is a great choice if you want accommodations on the newer, functioning, and affordable side as opposed to the expensive international hotel chains in Chengdu.

Very Good
JJASMINE KHAR PUILOCATION is super good. Within couple of minutes to Taikooli, which has lots of shops including a big supermarket and plenty of eateries. Also within walking distance to Chunxi and IFS.
APARTMENT is big and spacious and good for at least 4 pax (mine was a 2-bedroom Japanese-style apartment). Very aesthetic and IG-worthy at every corner of the apartment. View from room was amazing. Although looks old from outside, it is actually nice and clean within. Comes with kitchenette with fridge etc, washer, 1 bathroom cum toilet and 1 separate bath outside (open concept). There's a big screen wigh projector to watch movies in the living room. There's even a fireplace with logs! Free bottled water every day and you can request for daily housekeeping at your preferred timings.
OTHERS: There are 2 mini marts within the building, it's easy to get ******* delivery. Convenient to get Didi. A few cafes and quaint boutiques, roadside food stslls and street vendors just outside the apartment building.
Communication woth the apartment staff via WeChat was seamless as their responses were always prompt.
Overall, highly recommended!

VVITALocation is very close to Wenshu Monastery and 5mins walk ish from the metro.
The neighborhood is very local and fun to explore. 24mins walk from Wanda Plaza Mall and the Mall across. Perfect for last day shopping.
Room is nice and bed very comfortable. Room is wide but the cleanliness can be improved. The room is non smoking but i can smell smoke for sure. When i first enter the room, i found a small white wet towel hanging in the middle of the shower area. Maybe its a cleaning cloth that's forgotten by the cleaner?
Also there's dew hair near the toilet door. And the bottom of the kettle looking weird. So not using it.
But bed is nice, comfy and clean.
