"Really great place if you want to stay in Taicang. The staff is super nice and helpful. The rooms are really modern and smart, with automatic curtains lol. :) However the rooms are not super large and especially the space around the sink is a bit limited. But the loveliness combined with the advanced interior make this a really special place!"

"Was recommended to this hotel as the location is very good. True enough, the location is super as Wanda Plaza is just a stroller... However, as I am kind of allergic to Smoke, I requested a NON Smoking room... unfortunately, once we entered our room, the smoke smelled were so terrible....there is a No Smoking sign, but the fact there is an ashtray, it suggested otherwise.... Luckily we only stayed for 1 night... Breakfast is good though... In a nutshell, if you are okay with Smoke, the hotel is pretty good. However, for a NON smoker and allergic to Smoke, better think twice...."

"The room on May Day was very tight, but I missed it early on May Day and booked two rooms, one on the outside and one on the courtyard. Parking spaces include underground parking lots (right next to the hotel, near Starbucks) and surface parking lots (on Xinbei East Road, there is a small alley opposite the ”Yu Guoyuan” snack shop. The parking spaces are quite spacious) The hotel is connected to the Leyin Garden next door during the day. The hotel is very clean inside, the front desk is friendly, the room is large, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the bed is very comfortable, and the pillows are suitable for us to sleep on. The hotel is very close to Shaxi Ancient Town. There are snacks, pastries, Taicang specialty meat floss, clothes sellers, and Yiwu small commodities. It is very lively. For breakfast, you can go to Auntie Zhang’s dim sum shop. The fried pancakes are quite delicious. Recommended!"

"The price/performance ratio exceeded expectations. I booked this hotel after reading a Taicang travel guide by a girl on Xiaohongshu. It was drizzling when I drove to the hotel. Suddenly, I saw green grass, flowers on the roadside, and small Western-style buildings hidden in the trees, as if I had arrived in the British countryside. After checking in, I found that the facilities were relatively new, clean and simple. The girl at the front desk was also very smart and could communicate effectively. The breakfast variety was moderate, and the dishes and staple foods tasted very good. I felt that the chef was particularly sincere. The location of the hotel is really good! Across the grass and tall metasequoia is a beautiful river view, and the German-style street opposite is fashionable and the night view is amazing. It is very close to Nanyuan, Art Museum and other attractions. There is a shopping mall 800 meters away on foot. There are many restaurants on the fourth floor. I chose one that is delicious and cheap. Disadvantages: Because the room has a balcony, the balcony door is not closed and the sound insulation is not good. In addition, there are definitely enough parking spaces."

"The Yitel in Taicang is a fantastic hotel.  From the great front desk staff allowing us a bit of an early check in, to the wonderful breakfast, great room with a lovely big bathtub, to the very warm and friendly housekeeping and restaurant staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yitel. We have been staying at many hotels over the last few months in China, and this hotel is a standout.  The location in central Taicang is great, with a shopping mall and Walmart right across the street, and many other shops, restaurants, banks, and more within easy walking distance.  Our large Queen room was great - very large, incredibly comfortable and well appointed - and, again, the great big bathtub was a special treat.  There is a great in house laundry - most importantly, the best dryer we have used at a ny of the hotels we have stayed in.  Great hotel and would highly recommend."

"The Vienna Hotel's neoclassical European design is elegant and grand. The bedding at the Taicang Shaxi branch is very comfortable, and the rooms are exceptionally clean with great attention to detail. The location next to Shaxi Ancient Town is very convenient. Manager Chen was incredibly warm and thoughtful, providing attentive service that felt like an old friend. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"The room is very spacious, facing the street, the room has a floor-to-ceiling window, the view is very wide. The local area is very convenient for eating and living in the bustling street, and there are many restaurants around. The service was very thoughtful, and two more pairs of slippers and a few bottles of water were immediately given. The room feels that there is a smell, maybe there is no good ventilation, and the air conditioner is turned on after check-in. The breakfast aunt is particularly enthusiastic."
