"We had a fantastic stay. Service was incredible with the staff very welcome and helpful.
The staff were also really good at helping me to develop my Chinese language skills and they also had facilities on site to support with any activities and scooter hire as well as a fridge with snacks to purchase. The room had amenities like tea, coffee and water which was replenished each day.
Breakfast was incredible, a highlight of our stay
The surrounding area was very walkable from the hotel, especially the moon mountain and famous 10 mile stretch.

"Loved it! The staff (young ladies and gentlemen) were super nice, very enthusiastic, and patient. The cleaning aunties were also very polite. It felt really cozy staying here. "The accommodation was lovely. Right next to West Street but a little further up so it didn’t feel overwhelming at night. (Could only hear very distant music on a Friday night and I have a feeling that’s similar in all the hotels in the area).
Loooovely girls at the front. They did their best with their English and I did my best with Chinese and we got there in the end. Gave me tips on how to get around by bike and tried the best to make me feel welcome (I was travelling solo).
Clean rooms. The building is a bit old but like most building in the area. The rooms were super super clean though so I was very happy about that.

"After a few detours, we finally settled on this guesthouse. It has slow charging for electric vehicles, which is super friendly 😄. The service was also excellent, and there's a rooftop for drying clothes. The environment is absolutely superb! I stayed in room 201. Overall, it's worth coming back to. Downstairs, you can rent a car for 30 yuan and return it before 8 PM. It's also very close to nearby attractions and restaurants. This is my second time visiting Yangshuo; the first time, I stayed near West Street. My husband said for the second visit, we absolutely had to stay somewhere with good scenery and a great environment. For the current stay, around 300 yuan is quite affordable."

"After a long search in Yangshuo, I finally decided to stay here, and I'm so glad I did! The hotel didn't disappoint. The room was clean and hygienic, with great natural light. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too hard. What really stood out were the toiletries; they were high-quality and lovely to use. The hotel service was also incredibly thoughtful; they even helped arrange my itinerary, which saved me a lot of hassle. The breakfast offered a rich variety of options, catering to different regional tastes, showing great consideration and attention to detail. Plus, the hotel is super close to the 'Impression Sanjie Liu' scenic area, just a few minutes' walk away, and it's also convenient to West Street and the Yulong River rafting pier. Getting around from here is very easy. The best part is that no matter how busy the season, this location avoids traffic jams, and the hotel has its own parking, which is so much better than staying in the city center. I'll definitely come back for a few more days when I have the chance. Highly recommended!"

Staff is really really nice, uppon our arrival they upgreaded our room for a more comfortable one, and even with the language barrier they tried their best to answer all our stupid tourist questions. Rooms are tastefully designed and there is a rooftop with a good view to the city and few of the mountains.
Quite hard to find tho, you have to search for an allyway and look for their floral logo!"

"The room environment was great, with clean and tidy facilities, and even a swimming pool, though unfortunately, we don't swim. Overall, I'd give it a five-star rating.
However, there were a few issues, some of which were my own fault. Usually, when we stay at a hotel, we only get one room card, but this hotel gave us two. As a result, when we checked out, we accidentally left one card behind. I realized this at the high-speed train station and, in a rush, found a SF Express delivery person to mail it back to the front desk. I'm very sorry about that.
Another issue was that the room lighting was a bit dim. The front desk offered a desk lamp, but it was late, and I didn't want to bother, so I just went to sleep. I suggest adding a main light; it would be more convenient for using a phone at night.
The hotel provided breakfast in the morning, but honestly, the rice noodles were just average and not very tasty, so I didn't finish them. The soup dumplings were decent, and the eggs and sweet potatoes were also okay.
Overall, I'd rate the entire stay experience a 5, especially since the front desk upgraded our room. The 270-degree view room offered incredibly beautiful scenery.
Finally, a side note: there's an electric scooter rental shop across from the hotel. If you want to rent one, you can do so there for 30 RMB a day, and two people can ride over 40 kilometers. There's also a restaurant next to the hotel, which I don't recommend; they charged us 160 RMB for two jin of beer fish, and I felt ripped off."

The inn's decor was stylish, with a Chinese aesthetic that made every photo-op Instagram-worthy – perfect for ladies in traditional outfits. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and spoke excellent English, which explains the high number of foreign guests and the great atmosphere. Their ground-floor restaurant has been on the 'must-eat' list for several years running and is very famous and popular locally, with long queues every day – definitely give it a try. Hotel guests get a 10% discount, and remember to ask the front desk to arrange a table for you to skip the queue, otherwise, you'll be waiting forever.

I booked for two nights and was supposed to check out by 12 PM on the third day. However, on the second night, my child was hit by a car and transferred to Guilin Hospital. It wasn't until the evening of the third day that my husband had time to go check out and pack our luggage. The owner kept the room for us and didn't rush us to check out at all. The owner is a truly compassionate person; they repeatedly inquired about my child's condition, didn't charge us for the late checkout, and even gave my child a red envelope. For this booking, the owner truly went above and beyond, practically losing money. Such big-hearted owners are truly rare. I wish the owner a prosperous business and abundant wealth. Thank you for your immense kindness.

MMarcia PrescottIf you are in this area, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. It was a great experience. The feeling is very rustic and feels old. But really really awesome. The people there can speak English really well. They took good care of us and made sure that we had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and we had an option for an American breakfast. It was kind of nice after we'd been in China for so long. There's a lot of amazing scenery nearby. And a few little shops. There is a hike up to Moon Hill which is awesome and not very far.

Waking up and opening the window to a lush green landscape was so relaxing and refreshing. The front desk offers electric bike rentals that are in excellent condition with plenty of battery life, and at a great price. It was super convenient for riding to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, allowing us to enjoy the scenery with the wind in our hair – so free and enjoyable. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making getting around incredibly easy. The value for money is unbeatable; choosing this place for your trip to Yangshuo is definitely the right call!

LLost_in_the_JungleWe were seeking a peaceful getaway from the city for a few days in the mountains of Yangshuo, and this place really lived up to its name!
The view from our balcony was spectacular, no photo can really capture how the lush green mountains rise up all around you!
Our room was so clean and open and spacious, with lots of drawers and cabinets and places to hang your things. The bed linens were silky soft and comfortable, and the towels are nice, too.
Our room was really so comfortable, that when it was raining we just lazed about in our room, napping on the daybed, watching movies on the big TV, or reading in the bath.
Speaking of the bath, honestly the most epic view from a tub that I have ever experienced!
When it was too hot and humid in the day, we lounged in the crystal blue pool- what a treat to swim in the cool water with the mountains all around you!
When we felt like exploring beyond the village, we were able to rent e-bikes right there for a great price, it was so convenient.
They have a buffet Chinese breakfast in the morning, and the Guilin rice noodle was delish and so authentic. We also loved the homemade soymilk, it was so good, even my husband who doesn't really like soymilk kept drinking it!
We enjoyed the modern zen feel of the hotel, its very calming with water features, and little garden features everywhere.
Most of all, the location of the hotel is really special, you are in the back of an old traditional village, making it sooooo quiet, so peaceful. No noisy tourists to be seen anywhere!!! The staff was friendly and chill and helpful.
But, when we wanted to go out for a treat, we would just walk a few steps into the center of the village where there are some really lovely coffee shops in ancient garden courtyards, and we would eat at one of our favorite restaurants, the Secret Garden Cafe, which has yummy Chinese and Western food.
We can't wait to come back and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a restful escape from the hustle and bustle.

GGuest UserThis is my second stay at Poqu Qixu, and it's truly a hidden gem! This time, I brought my sister and mom along for a trip.
Choosing the right guesthouse is so important for travelers, and from booking to check-in, everything was incredibly hassle-free. Since it was the off-season, I communicated with them in advance to get a higher floor and two rooms on the same level.
The rooms were just as neat and tidy as before, with a tranquil and elegant ambiance. The pool area was impeccably clean, and with a wide-angle lens, every photo turned out stunning, creating a great atmosphere. The room itself was spacious and bright with a well-thought-out layout. Amenities and disposable toiletries were all provided, and the hygiene was excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. The bed was just the right firmness – I slept soundly until morning.
The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, providing thoughtful service without being overbearing. They answered all our questions and even helped resolve minor issues, offering great recommendations for local dining and entertainment. The guesthouse's location is also super convenient. The Yulong River bamboo rafting pier is just 300 meters across the road. It's quiet yet convenient here, an absolute perfect experience! I'll definitely be choosing this guesthouse for future trips; you can't go wrong with it.

It's located right in the Yulong River Scenic Area, very close to Jima Wharf, making it super convenient to get around, and there's free parking available. The moment I stepped in, I fell in love with the place. The courtyard, the lawn, the mountains – it's like a painting! Our room was comfortable and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a direct view of Totoro Mountain. KKuailedexiaomaIf I hadn't booked this hotel, I wouldn't have dared to visit Yangshuo during the May Day holiday. We stayed for 3 nights in a Riverside Balcony Room, and it was a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, allowing us to fully enjoy the beautiful landscape. The hotel is a bit old, and the decor is certainly dated, with small rooms. However, there were no strange odors, the bedding was clean and tidy, and the shower had good water pressure and drained well, though the water temperature occasionally fluctuated between hot and cold.
The hotel's location is superb, situated along the most beautiful stretch of the Yulong River, very close to the bank – truly a unique spot. Other similar scenic hotels might have river views but lack good mountain views, or vice-versa.
From the hotel, it's about a ten-minute walk to the Shuie Di Pier to catch a bamboo raft, and a 20-minute walk to Gongnong Bridge. Even if you don't venture out, the hotel restaurant is excellent. We ate there for three consecutive days without repeating a dish. The portions were generous, the food delicious, and service was fast. Prices were slightly higher than outside stalls and restaurants, but the cleanliness and taste made it completely acceptable. It would be even better if they offered some meal vouchers during promotions.
I would definitely want to come back.

GGuest UserThe hotel was a real bargain during the off-peak season. I was a bit apprehensive before checking in, given the price was less than a hundred per night. However, the location is excellent, tucked away in an alley off West Street, very close to Xu Beihong's former residence and Sun Yat-sen's speech site. It was quiet at night, away from the hustle and bustle. Since there were two of us, the owner was kind enough to upgrade our room type.
The room itself was well-equipped and very clean. The sink area was separate from the shower, and there was 24-hour hot water. The air conditioning was powerful – perfect for a cool, comfortable bed after a hot day. There was also a projector on the wall for watching TV shows and movies in the evening. There wasn't a trace of smoke in the room, and the walls were spotless.
There are also many great restaurants around the hotel; with a little looking, you can find some delicious and affordable places.
