This hotel seems to be built right on the cliffside, offering unbeatable views from the rooms. The design is really thoughtful, with large glass walls, balconies, skylights, and smart wake-up features. You can tell the owner put a lot of effort into it. The weekday prices are quite reasonable, and both breakfast and afternoon tea are excellent. The coffee and flower tea are also very good – flavorful and not cheap. When we left, they even gave us a small tea bag as a parting gift, which was a nice touch. There were several dinner options available for an additional charge, which looked good, though we didn't try them. Overall, the place has a very high-quality feel; you can sense the owner's passion and dedication to making it great. It's perfect for a lazy stay, and the courtyard has many picturesque spots for photos. There's even a talking mynah bird! It's about a 30-minute drive to various tea plantation attractions, which isn't too far, making it ideal for a relaxed trip without rushing. The only downside is that buying individual coffees is a bit pricey; it feels like Starbucks prices for only about a third of the volume.

What an amazing place with amazing staff who made the experience that much better. The rooms were everything we could ask for, modern and very clean with great amenities. The private hot spring alone is absolutely worth visiting too. The surrounding area is beautiful too with lots to see and do but would definitely need to rent a car as some things are far away. The staff were incredible in every way. Before our stay I asked one of the staff members called Min if she could order flowers for a special occasion and she did so without hesitation and placed them in the room upon our arrival.She was so helpful and kind throughout the whole stay, telling us the best places to visit and restaurant to go out. She even went as far as helping us order dinner at the local restaurant when we were struggling too due to our lack of speaking Chinese. The breakfast was also delicious as well and the coffee shop where it is served has great coffee and lovely pastries. I couldn’t recommend this place more for a nice weekend away in nature.

We are extremely happy to have chosen Bixiang Inn for our stay at Qing Yuan. The inn is beautiful & tranquil located at Hetou Village, Jiulong Town, Qing Yuan. Be prepared of the travelling journey there, it is very far from Yingde, but the inn is just worth the journey. We were there few days before the peak season, Chinese New Year. So we had the hotel by ourselves - 8 of us. We bought the famous Qing Yuan chicken, Jiulong fuchuk, plucked veg from the hotel & also bought & plucked additional vegetable from the next door neighbour and we cooked our dinner at the hotel! How wonderful! The caretaker, Ah Lei (hope I get her name correct) is very helpful. She even helped in the cooking & cleaning up after meal. Not forgetting 3 lovely cats in the premises too. We did trekking &/or cycling (the hotel has 2 bicycles for guests use) in both morning. The air was so so fresh, felt recharged instantly. We highly recommended Bixiang Inn as your base at Qing Yuan.

Absolutely loved this bamboo forest courtyard! It's an immersive experience, nestled within acres of bamboo. The rainy day ambiance was simply divine. As soon as I stepped into the courtyard, I was enveloped by lush greenery. The drizzle pattered on the bamboo, the leaves rustled, and the air was filled with the fresh, damp scent of vegetation – so peaceful and therapeutic. The glamping tent accommodation had a wild luxury feel, and the private courtyard offered complete privacy. Inside, it was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding. Hiding in the tent on a rainy day, listening to the white noise of rain on bamboo leaves, created a truly wonderful atmosphere. The environment is tranquil and elegant, far from the city's hustle and bustle. The owner provided thoughtful and attentive service, making the entire stay from check-in to check-out completely comfortable. The bamboo forest on a rainy day had a unique charm, misty and ethereal, with swaying bamboo shadows. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind, whether you're seeking solitude or a gathering with friends. It's already on my list for a second visit, highly recommended!

The rooms are small but clean and tidy, and there's a shuttle bus service/welcome gift! ^_^ There's only one restaurant, and takeout is practically nonexistent! The snacks served are quite oily. Driving is recommended! **Fenglin Xiaozhen Ticket for 2 Adults + 1 Child (under 1.2 meters):** Included in the room package; the entire scenic area is relatively flat and open! All activities are chargeable (mini-train/go-karting/hot air balloon/gliding/cable car/off-road vehicles, etc.). Some free activities are a bit desolate (pet park) or good for taking photos. In spring, there are rapeseed flowers/cherry blossom forests, and in summer, there are lotus ponds—it sounds like a beautiful scene! **South China Night Pearl for 2 Adults + 1 Child:** Free activity **Red History and Culture Experience for 2 Adults + 1 Child:** Free activity Nearby attractions include Xiaohuashan Via Ferrata climbing/Dongtian Wonderland. **Recommended itinerary:** 2-3 days for a single scenic area, 3-4 days for nearby attractions. Would love to come back! It caters to all ages, from thrilling activities and Instagrammable spots to a relaxed lifestyle and family-friendly options – highly recommended!

We booked a family room with our baby, and it was decorated quite cutely. The room was also very clean. Although the room wasn't large, it had all the necessary facilities. KTV, mahjong, and billiards were all free, which was great. On a nice day, the rooftop is a wonderful place to enjoy tea and watch the sunset. We visited the Little Zhaozhou Bridge, which is 1 km from the guesthouse and 4 km from Dongtian Wonderland, making it very convenient. Overall, it was a very nice trip, and the staff were very welcoming! I heard there are many other entertainment options, but we didn't have time due to the baby. We'll definitely come back next time!

Glamping in China I loved the business project in whole, it’s brilliant, location, gorgeous view of sugarloaf mountains, air quality, forest and wildlife + real tea plantations and the general idea of connecting the ancient tradition of tea making and enjoying with the family outdoors and holiday activities. But. When it comes to the reality and routine you face the challenges and imperfections. First, I booked the tent with the request to accommodate my family far from other visitors and traffic. Unfortunately, we were given a tent that literally was situated at the main road with doors opened to the public route, while all other tents oriented towards the tea plantation. We were disappointed, because at another tent we were asked to add 100 yuan more, since it was equipped with a bathroom. More than that, it was booked too, so instead of nice stay 3 days/nights at one place, we had to move out next noon, wait for the check -in at around 13 pm and settle again at another tent. I deeply appreciate the efforts the manager made to please us. But I wish we could skip all that unnecessary waste of time, not mentioning packing luggage of 4 people for 2-3 times. Next complication is about Chinese culture being close to each other- tents are located side by side, 8 tents all reserved, lots of kids, all noisy, all moving at the same spot+ other visitors freely enter the area and it adds to the crowds. So we had a complete silence only after 11 pm and from the early morning it was already packed with new travelers. The heaters are great, yet also noisy, the bathroom is beautiful and modern, even with dyson alike hair dryer, but users don’t care about others, don’t close the shower cabin while washing, so the entire room becomes a marsh. We enjoyed our breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner at the hotel restaurant , the food and service was outstanding ! There’s great quality bedding , linen is awesome, mattresses and pillows are fantastic . All amenities are of a premium quality, just like at the 5 * hotel. Electric car shuttles are helpful and always there for you. But the best part of the place is its tea, black tea, it’s a splendor ! We drank it for 3 days and it’s never enough , so good. Make sure you buy some to get home. Local ice cream with the milk tea flavor is one of a kind!

The decor is nice and the cleanliness is quite good. The heated bathroom floor is a highlight, and unlike many hotels, there's no smoke smell. However, for guests like us who check in at 9 PM and check out after breakfast, showering and sleeping are undoubtedly the most important experiences. The slightly loud AC is tolerable, but the curtains not blocking enough light is a drawback. The biggest issue is the shower, which constantly fluctuates between hot and cold – it's impossible to get a consistent temperature. I'm not sure if this is just an issue with this room or if it's a problem throughout the hotel.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very welcoming. They even helped us carry our luggage to our room. There was complementary tea and showergel in the room, which we enjoyed. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The manager Rachel even invited us for local dinner and breakfast, which we really enjoyed! All in all it was a pleasant stay! Happy to come again!

If you just want to take a day or two off, then you made the right choice. It is also the right choice to bring children to get close to sika deer. The natural environment is very good, the sika deer are also well-behaved, the restaurant tastes good, and it is also good to drive an off-road vehicle to play on the off-road road. There is a special off-road road, and the room is also very good (I booked the wrong room type. The picture shows that I added 150 to change to a parent-child room with a hot spring pool and special children's toothbrush) But unfortunately there are a few points: 1. Xujiazhuang has been abandoned and nothing is left. 2. The food in the restaurant tastes good, but a little expensive 3. There are not many breakfast items. The soy milk is like leftovers with a lot of water. There is no soy milk taste at all. It looks like rice washing water. 4. The hotel package I booked included tea souvenirs and feed for sika deer, but they never asked me if I needed them from beginning to end. The tea was only given to me after I asked before dinner, and they said it was usually given upon check-out. However, when I checked out, they just took the room card and that was it. If I hadn't asked the day before, would they have not given it to me? Not because they knew I had taken it in advance, the front desk took the room card and said it was OK without even looking at it.
