"We had a fantastic stay at Mohamed's apartment in the Al Ismailia residence. The apartment is beautiful, impeccably clean, and so well-equipped it felt like a true home away from home. Mohamed is a wonderful and attentive host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
The thoughtful provisions like coffee, water, and cooking spices (baharat) were a lovely touch that made our stay even more comfortable. The building is modern and feels very safe, and the Gueliz location is perfect for exploring.
We would not hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!"

"Walking distance from the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. Yes, the hotel is not new, but the price-quality ratio is excellent. I donât know who writes about the dirt - the pool is clean, the glasses and food accessories in the restaurant are all clean. Opposite the hotel there is a wine shop, which is very convenient, a cafe where you can eat tasty and inexpensively. I definitely recommend visiting!"

"Conveniently located apartments with late check-in available. It's a 20-minute walk to the Medina, 15 minutes to the Majorelle Garden, and 15-20 minutes to the bus and train stations. There are two shops nearby.
We ended up with a very basic room â no nightstands by the beds, no wardrobes or hangers, and the hooks in the bathroom were falling off.
We didn't bother complaining or asking to be moved as we were only staying for less than three nights. Plus, we booked it just three hours before checking in because our previous *********** host canceled on us."

"It was my first time in Africa, and I chose this hotel. It's just across the street from Marrakech Station, but the surroundings are average. The hotel is located in the new town of Marrakech. Personally, I think it's a good choice compared to the dangers of the old town. One caveat: Marrakech's buses are not very punctual, so I recommend taking a taxi. The hotel is about 10 euros from the airport."

"PROS: Nice location, close to the railway station. Easy to get to historical sites. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around. Rather clean rooms.
CONS: Way too noisy. No noise cancelling at all. You can perfectly hear your neighbours, reception, people walking down the street, cars beeping 24/7 etc. As if you were sleeping outside. Shower bath is quite small (around 0.75m x 0.75m), which was okay for me, but some would probably not fit in. High and hard pillows"

The riad itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated, but what truly made the stay exceptional were the people and their outstanding service. Dunya went above and beyond, helping me with my large luggage to the lobby and keeping my room spotless at all times. Farid prepared Moroccan tea for me on my first night on the rooftop and generously shared great restaurant recommendations. Nour, the director, and her sister greeted me with warm smiles every time they saw me and provided truly fantastic service.
They offered warm, genuine hospitality and consistently went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. I genuinely felt like a welcomed guest rather than a tourist. When I unfortunately had food poisoning on my second day and didnât leave my room at all, they noticed and checked on me to make sure I was okay. That level of care meant so much to me. Lastly, the riad itself is literally just 2â4 minutes away from Jemaa el-Fnaa and the Medina, which made getting around incredibly easy. I would definitely come back again without hesitation. Thank you Riad Mama! I canât recommend Riad Mama enough this is hospitality at its finest. The rooftop view facing Koutoubia mosque.

AAnonymous UserIt was good for the price. Great location in Gueliz, very close to the shopping centre etc and easy to get to the medina either via bus or walking.
There was a bit of an inconsistency with breakfast. Itâs bought over to you on a tray rather being a buffet. Youâre not asked what you would like, itâs more of a get what youâre given sort of thing. Several times people I heard people being offered a pancake or given bread etc on other tables and I wasnât. However, the pastries were really nice.
I went to sit outside by the pool on one occasion while waiting for my airport transfer, there were a total of 3 sun loungers but lots of tables for people coming in to eat at restaurant. Some men came in and sat at the tables, ordered a drink and were smoking; itâs not a massive area so itâs all you could smell and breathe in. The pool area is mostly in the shade.
The staff were very friendly and I was allowed to check in early. As a solo traveller was given a twin room rather than a double which was shown on the pictures when I booked as a âsingleâ room. It was fine though.
The air-con works well, the beds are comfy and it was quiet. I LOVED Marrakech!

BBellinisThe check-in process was good for customer service, but my room experience was terrible. I booked a superior suite, but I ended up with a regular room. I was informed that the person who was supposed to be in the room decided to stay another day. When I checked online, I found that the room was still available for reservation. The next day, when I asked to switch to my reserved room, I was told that it was booked again and that I should check back in line. Surprisingly, the same room was still available for reservation. I feel like they were scamming people by booking a suite at a higher price and then giving them a cheaper room.
The night crew member was very friendly and informed me that the manager was traveling. However, I donât understand who is responsible for managing the website and ensuring that the correct room is posted when itâs available. I tried to contact them via phone and email, but nothing happened. I hope that Trip guide and the hotel will take responsibility for their actions and make sure that this doesnât happen to other customers. I could have booked a different suite that had a similar aesthetic to what I was looking for, but I couldnât even cancel the reservation. There should be a system in place for booking a specific room, and if the room is not available, the customer should receive an automatic refund. Itâs their job to figure out when the room is available and what type of room it is. Additionally, the room had a bunch of knickknacks, and the table, wall, and bottom of the table were all chipped, cracked.

Our host, Iheb, truly deserves the title of a legend. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, he made our stay memorable. Whilr it may not be a 5-star hotel, it provided a unique and authentic Moroccan experience that exceeded our expectations.
The riad itself, with its traditional architecture, was clean and inviting. The highlight was undoubtedly the serene terrace, a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. One evening, we indulged in sheesha on the terrace, a delightful experience that only cost us around 70 MAD. We also had the pleasure of dining on the terrace, where we enjoyed delicious tagines at a very reasonable price of 60 MAD each. The chef's culinary skills were truly impressive. The breakfast served each morning was traditional and homely too!
What made our stay truly special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Iheb and the staff. We arrived as guests but left feeling like friends. We were even befriended by the two adorable resident kittens, Sofia, the long-haired tabby, and Leena, the ginger kitten. Their presence added an extra touch of charm to our stay.
The location of Riad Jibril was perfect, and the camel in front of the money exchange served as an excellent landmark. The riad was on the opposite alleyway, second door, making it easy to find. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Kasbah, near Zeitun Cafe, a favorite spot of ours to visit at night. The lantern-lit terrace at the cafe provided majestic views that made our evenings even more memorable.

Mmattie graceThe hotel is clean, the workers are all very kind and helpful... when I checked in I asked if I could stay 1 more night so they helped to do this and then gave me a larger room for free, because I was staying a extra night.
They helped to bring my bags up with the elevator and showed me to my room. I felt very safe staying here also as a female who was staying alone.
The place has nice Moroccan touchs like the detail on the doors / door ways, light fixtures... etc

I was originally nervous about the cleanliness from the reviews on here, but it was nice and clean and they will clean the room daily if you are gone or if you are there if you would like them to around 2-3 pm
It had a small fridge in the room, a vanity / desk, Tv with local channel + the usual.

GGuest UserWe didnât have any issues there. In general the service is good even if there is nobody in the reception thus they give you your own keys of the main entrance and your room. As a suggestion it is needed a sign âRiad Nouhalâ but anyway, if you follow the location on Google Maps, you will be in.
