"It was good for the price. Great location in Gueliz, very close to the shopping centre etc and easy to get to the medina either via bus or walking.
There was a bit of an inconsistency with breakfast. It’s bought over to you on a tray rather being a buffet. You’re not asked what you would like, it’s more of a get what you’re given sort of thing. Several times people I heard people being offered a pancake or given bread etc on other tables and I wasn’t. However, the pastries were really nice.
I went to sit outside by the pool on one occasion while waiting for my airport transfer, there were a total of 3 sun loungers but lots of tables for people coming in to eat at restaurant. Some men came in and sat at the tables, ordered a drink and were smoking; it’s not a massive area so it’s all you could smell and breathe in. The pool area is mostly in the shade.
The staff were very friendly and I was allowed to check in early. As a solo traveller was given a twin room rather than a double which was shown on the pictures when I booked as a ‘single’ room. It was fine though.
The air-con works well, the beds are comfy and it was quiet. I LOVED Marrakech!"

"Very good hotel, the rooms were spacious and clean and all the staff were very friendly and polite. Especially Kawthar in the reception, who helped us with deciding and arranging a trip to the city of Ouarzazate. The location is perfect for anyone needing to be near the airport—just a short drive away, which made arriving and departing incredibly convenient. The space itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process seamless, which I really appreciated after a long journey.
The surrounding area has everything you might need, from restaurants and cafes to shops, making it easy to grab a bite or pick up essentials without going far. Overall, it was a stress-free and comfortable experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through the area, whether it’s for a quick stopover or a longer stay. The riad itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated, but what truly made the stay exceptional were the people and their outstanding service. Dunya went above and beyond, helping me with my large luggage to the lobby and keeping my room spotless at all times. Farid prepared Moroccan tea for me on my first night on the rooftop and generously shared great restaurant recommendations. Nour, the director, and her sister greeted me with warm smiles every time they saw me and provided truly fantastic service.
They offered warm, genuine hospitality and consistently went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. I genuinely felt like a welcomed guest rather than a tourist. When I unfortunately had food poisoning on my second day and didn’t leave my room at all, they noticed and checked on me to make sure I was okay. That level of care meant so much to me. Lastly, the riad itself is literally just 2–4 minutes away from Jemaa el-Fnaa and the Medina, which made getting around incredibly easy. I would definitely come back again without hesitation. Thank you Riad Mama! I can’t recommend Riad Mama enough this is hospitality at its finest. The rooftop view facing Koutoubia mosque.

LLourdFrom the moment I arrived at this riad, I knew I was in for something special. The service was absolutely top-notch – the staff went above and beyond to ensure every need was met with a smile. Whether it was offering local recommendations, or simply providing a warm welcome.
The riad itself was a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan charm and modern comfort. Impeccably clean, with every corner well-maintained and thoughtfully decorated. The attention to detail in the rooms was amazing, and it was clear that cleanliness was a priority. The bed was incredibly comfortable and shared areas were absolutely aesthetic..
The breakfast served on the rooftop was delicious and fresh. It was the perfect way to start the day.

It should be considered a homestay, call the boss in advance, otherwise there may be no one. In fact, there is no early morning, but the room is still very good to sleep. Except for us, all the young people live. After all, the price is only 300 yuan.
Note that you must change some local currency at the airport first. There are many small shops around the place, and you can also eat late.

AAlbertoDespite it being difficult to find for Marrakech newcomers (we needed some help from very welcoming and helpful local kids), the Riad Is a wonderful go-back to the past glory of Medina.
A great smile welcomed us with the warmth of a lovely family member and after we settled in the room, we were served with local tea and pastries.
We felt immediately at home.
It's in the center of Medina, but the view from the terrace has a park.
Freshly made breakfast was served in the morning together with delicious coffee and abounding tea.
We know it already is going to be out choice for the next time.
Living Marrakech the Morocco's way is much more than simply visiting Medina.
It's all about where you spend the night!

FFarahWe had the pleasure of staying at Riad Jibril during our visit to Marrakech, and what a delightful experience it was!
Our host, Iheb, truly deserves the title of a legend. From the moment we checked in until we checked out, he made our stay memorable. Whilr it may not be a 5-star hotel, it provided a unique and authentic Moroccan experience that exceeded our expectations.
The riad itself, with its traditional architecture, was clean and inviting. The highlight was undoubtedly the serene terrace, a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. One evening, we indulged in sheesha on the terrace, a delightful experience that only cost us around 70 MAD. We also had the pleasure of dining on the terrace, where we enjoyed delicious tagines at a very reasonable price of 60 MAD each. The chef's culinary skills were truly impressive. The breakfast served each morning was traditional and homely too!
What made our stay truly special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Iheb and the staff. We arrived as guests but left feeling like friends. We were even befriended by the two adorable resident kittens, Sofia, the long-haired tabby, and Leena, the ginger kitten. Their presence added an extra touch of charm to our stay.
The location of Riad Jibril was perfect, and the camel in front of the money exchange served as an excellent landmark. The riad was on the opposite alleyway, second door, making it easy to find. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Kasbah, near Zeitun Cafe, a favorite spot of ours to visit at night. The lantern-lit terrace at the cafe provided majestic views that made our evenings even more memorable.

JJuliaS.PROS: Nice location, close to the railway station. Easy to get to historical sites. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around. Rather clean rooms.
CONS: Way too noisy. No noise cancelling at all. You can perfectly hear your neighbours, reception, people walking down the street, cars beeping 24/7 etc. As if you were sleeping outside. Shower bath is quite small (around 0.75m x 0.75m), which was okay for me, but some would probably not fit in. High and hard pillows

Mmattie graceThe hotel is clean, the workers are all very kind and helpful... when I checked in I asked if I could stay 1 more night so they helped to do this and then gave me a larger room for free, because I was staying a extra night.
They helped to bring my bags up with the elevator and showed me to my room. I felt very safe staying here also as a female who was staying alone.
The place has nice Moroccan touchs like the detail on the doors / door ways, light fixtures... etc

I was originally nervous about the cleanliness from the reviews on here, but it was nice and clean and they will clean the room daily if you are gone or if you are there if you would like them to around 2-3 pm
It had a small fridge in the room, a vanity / desk, Tv with local channel + the usual.

GGuest UserWe didn’t have any issues there. In general the service is good even if there is nobody in the reception thus they give you your own keys of the main entrance and your room. As a suggestion it is needed a sign “Riad Nouhal” but anyway, if you follow the location on Google Maps, you will be in.
