"Goreme Cave Rooms & Spa is located right in the center of Goreme, very close to the bus station and popular attractions. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to answer all our questions with a smile and in a gentle, courteous manner. The breakfast was delicious, and although the room was a little small, it was perfectly adequate for our needs."

"Cozy family run hotel. Only stayed one night. Lots of cats. Nice stay ruined by a tour booked by the hotel - Turkish dance. Beware we were overcharged - hotel told us it would be €60 per person (to be paid at the restaurant), which would include transport. Driver is the brother of the lady owner. Went to the dance, and they asked for €65 per person. A couple next to us told us they paid €40 per person. After we kicked up a fuss, we got a refund back however we still don’t know who was trying to rip us off: hotel, driver and/or restaurant. Do your research before agreeing to go on a tour organised by the hotel. That said, the car they organised for us was very reasonable (wife of said driver)."

"Hotel in the center of the city. Comfortable location. There is a small parking. Breakfast is a Swedish table, but everything is standard - cooked eggs, cheeses, sausages, dry flakes, vegetables, etc. The coffee was not, just tea. The room is large, quite convenient. The TV is not available. Shower spacious. Soap, gel, hair shampoo available. What didn't like. We arrived almost at 23.00, two guys were sitting near the entrance (one of them was a staff member of the resepshen). They saw that we were looking for an entrance to the hotel and climbing up to the 2nd floor with suitcases. Not finding a reseption on the 2nd floor , we went down and I already approached one of them, learning how to find a reseption hotel. What he replied : I am reseption. Well, somewhat strange situation, seeing that tourists are looking for a hotel and not even reacting. Then, instead of giving us the keys to the room, I started asking if we were planning balloons or quadricycles. And someone to call about that. For me, that attitude is incorrect."

"We stayed in a spacious double room on the first floor. The beds were neat and clean, and the room had beautifully designed furnishings. The internet connection in the room was excellent. My friend needed to attend an online meeting from the hotel, and I was initially worried that the internet in a cave hotel might be unreliable, but it wasn't an issue at all – the connection was perfectly smooth. The pillows had a lovely scent, whether it was a pillow spray or laundry detergent, it was very pleasant and helped me sleep soundly. The complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of options, though I personally didn't quite get used to the cheese. There was an extensive selection of jams, and eggs were available fried, boiled, and in other preparations. I highly recommend trying the ”Turkish eggs.” The guesthouse boasts an excellent location. It's only a 4-minute walk to the main bus station for buses heading to Avanos (the pottery town) and Uçhisar Castle. The sunset viewpoint is about a 10-minute walk away. There are many souvenir shops clustered nearby, which are great for browsing. Goreme itself isn't a large town, so all the good restaurants are within walking distance. In the evenings, you can experience Turkish nightlife, enjoy the night views, watch Turkish elders play cards, and listen to live guitar music at small bars. Most importantly, the Turkish gentleman who works at the reception, Mehmet, was incredibly kind. He's very young and speaks excellent English. He can help arrange hot air balloon rides and vintage car tours. He's very patient and will constantly check for the best prices for you, always saying, ”If there's a better option, I'll let you know immediately.” He's also very responsive via email and WhatsApp. A small detail that really stood out: when Mehmet sent the check-in notification via email, besides English, he also included a machine-translated Chinese version, which shows how thoughtful he is. When replying to my inquiries, he even put the machine-translated Chinese first, followed by the original English. These little touches really make an impression! After we checked out at 11 AM, my friend needed a place to write her thesis. Mehmet kindly arranged for her to use a spot in the kitchen with an outlet, and he repeatedly asked if she needed water, tea, or anything else. He was so incredibly kind that my friend and I felt almost embarrassed. Just a small suggestion: if possible, it would be great to offer a wake-up call service for guests going on hot air balloon tours. You could ask guests their planned departure time in advance and then arrange a wake-up call accordingly. It's so easy to oversleep when you have to wake up at 3 or 4 AM for a hot air balloon!"

"The most important thing about hotels in Cappadocia is that their names are easy to remember and pronounce, like this one, because you'll need the hotel name for airport transfers and booking activities. This hotel is several hundred meters from the main street. If you're sensitive to the sun, it's more comfortable to drive here. The surroundings are all fields with few bends, so you won't crash. The hotel has its own free and easy-to-park parking lot. That's why we rented a car the next day near Panda Spicy Hotpot and just paid extra to return it at the airport. I regret not renting one as soon as we landed. The rooftop serves a standard Western breakfast, and you can see the hot air balloons, but we had already left when they took off, so we didn't get many photos from the roof. If you wake up early, the hotel also offers an animal wake-up service, though not with wild animals. In my room, the bathroom drain had a sewage smell. It wasn't a big issue if I kept the door closed and the fan on, but I still hope the hotel pays attention to cleaning it."

"Close to the terminal and on the flat ground. The hotel is clean and the water pressure in the bathroom shower is good. The person who prepares breakfast is friendly and the breakfast is so delicious. Especially the French toast and scrambled eggs are great. I would like to come back next time I come to Cappadocia."

"I had doubts when I made booking - the hotel didn’t have many reviews. I took the risk though and it was well worth it. My stay at Hira cave was amazing! The room was spacious, clean and beautiful, the bed was comfortable - I slept like a baby all 5 nights. The view from the terrace was fascinating and breakfast was delicious as well - the photographs are attached. The owners were friendly and helped to arrange pick up from the airport, shared a few useful hints about the hikes and did everything to make my stay memorable. Thank you very much, I will come back!"

"This might be one of the highest-located hotels in Göreme, with convenient parking right outside. The hotel boasts a large rooftop terrace, perfect for watching the spectacular hot air balloon ascent at 5 AM. I booked a triple room on the top floor, which was spacious, and the bathroom in particular was huge. The breakfast selection was quite varied; it was perfect to catch up on some sleep after the early morning hot air balloon ride, then leisurely head down for a brunch around 10 AM. Due to travel fatigue and the climate, my wife developed a sudden cold sore. The staff recommended getting ointment from Emin Eczanesi in Downtown, which greatly alleviated the symptoms."

"A truly beautiful hotel, I loved the overall vibe. After staying one night in a cave hotel, it was nice to experience a different style. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, though the toilet and bathroom were a bit small. The showerhead in the bathroom was like a telephone receiver, which was fun to pick up and place back on the holder. There's a ramen shop right opposite the hotel, and it's quite easy to find. The hotel staff's uniforms are all custom-made and look great, and the staff themselves are all handsome men and beautiful women, haha, you'll see what I mean when you go there."
