The Great Sand Dunes National Park attracts many guests to our Alamosa hotel, but there is an abundance of other attractions to see. Our San Luis Valley hotel is surrounded by the stunning beauty of Alamosa, Colorado, and theres something for everyone nearby. Whether exploring the dunes is on your bucket list, or youre in town to discover the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, theres plenty of family-friendly fun to be had. Zapata Falls is just a short drive away and the perfect destination for photographers or those who are looking for the ideal summer cool-off spot. The Stations of the Cross Shrine, the oldest church in Colorado, is also near our Alamosa hotel. History buffs and guests looking for a little culture on their vacation should check this historical site off of their must-see list. The Cumbres and Toltec train is another attraction that many of our guests see, but sometimes a vacation is all about relaxation. Our Alamosa hotel was built with peace and quiet in mind. Were the only exterior chain hotel in the region, and guests can depend on us to uphold the quality of the Best Western brand. This means an indoor pool and hot tub, big parking for cars and semi-trucks, spacious rooms and our famous free breakfast. Whether youre planning on spending an adventurous day on the dunes or seeing what treasures you can find in town, our Alamosa hotel makes sure you start the morning right. Our complimentary daily full breakfast buffet includes hot waffles, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal and chilled juices or 100% Arabica coffee. Our Alamosa hotel is also conveniently located, so guests can easily get around the region. Were close to the university and hospital and are located in the center of town. Many of the boutiques and local dining spots are walkable. A great location and value are what make a getaway great. Book your upcoming vacation at Best Western Alamosa Inn and rest assured youll enjoy your trip! Enjoy your stay.

"Amazing hotel in a good location, convenient for visiting Great Sand Dunes National Park. The breakfast was one of the best offerings I’ve seen for a non-five star hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Not exactly the cheapest hotel room (especially considering the town it was in) but overall still a good value considering the quality of the stay"

You'll find it easy to settle into our vibrant lobby, with spaces to gather, relax and work. Jump-start your day with our free breakfast, now with more hot choices like scrambled eggs, sausage and oatmeal, plus favorites including fresh fruit and yogurt. You'll always find the courteous service you deserve, plus all the little things you expect from Fairfield Inn & Suites Alamosa to help you get it done when you travel.

"The room's cleanliness was satisfying. The front desk staff working the night shift were also very welcoming and clearly explained the deposit situation. They even proactively offered us drinking water. The only minor drawback in the bathroom was that the showerhead couldn't swivel, which is a very inconvenient design. Then came breakfast, and a perplexing situation unfolded. The server, 'Little Hamburger,' only brought out four sandwiches at a time. Moreover, common items like scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and gravy were missing. Do you see the tip jar in picture three? Here, at breakfast, they 'expect guests' to give tips during breakfast time... Aside from the unsanitary aspect of handling money, has tipping culture extended to breakfast now? The speed at which they replenished the hamburgers was severely lacking, leaving a crowd of guests with only waffles to eat... Please address this issue as it affects your reputation and efficiency."

"Shower could have been a bit cleaner, but otherwise good. Location is a little west of downtown. Staff was very friendly and gave us free snacks. We did not partake in any amenities, but they looked good."

You will feel at home in this cozy new duplex that is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood that has private areas, great neighbors, and a great location. Walking distance to downtown and a park. Our home also includes comfortable beds with a king size tempur-pedic bed in the master bedroom with adjoining master bathroom, double sinks and new shower heads. More information The space This property was the 4th house built in Alamosa in 1881 on 400 acres. The original home had to be torn down because of structural issues. This new home was rebuilt as an investment property, and thought this would make a perfect family vacation rental due to it's location being so conveniently located near downtown and Cole Park, where there are several great events held. This would also make a great home for individuals coming in for meetings or training since we are conveniently located close to Adams State University and the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center. Our home is also located 2 blocks from the Rio Grande River, Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, two brewery's, one includes the Roast Craft Coffee Shop, and lots of other great restaurants and shops.
