This little casita is located in the beautiful town of Uvalde Texas. Lots of eats near by and unique downtown shops. So. I’m gonna be really honest here.. We bought our home with this little casita in the back yard in July of 2021. We did a fixer upper on the inside of the main house where we currently live. We have done some work in the backyard but it’s definitely not finished and still rough around the edges. We gave the casita a fresh coat of paint inside and replaced the bathroom floor. We do not have television. We DO have WiFi. We have many dreams for both the backyard and casita but at this point do not have the funds to continue.. we will update as we can! We have a friendly golden retriever (Paz) that will probably be around during your stay but she sleeps inside our house at night. You will also see our kitty (Zeus) during your stay as well. You will have access to a fire pit and a bbq wood grill. The casita is clean and neat but nothing fancy. The “kitchen” has a two burner stove, a mini fridge and a sink. A queen sized bed and a small bathroom. You can park in our driveway and enter the casita through the gate into the back yard. My husband is self employed at ARP automotive and I am a stay at home mom to our baby girl.. We will keep to ourselves as much as possible.. The primary home is classic, spacious limestone structure with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths situated on the lower level and an enormous upstairs loft that spans the entire length of the home. The loft is a kids dream, consisting of 7 twin beds and 2 queen beds that can be reconfigured to meet your needs. It includes a half bath and an entertainment area that includes a foosball table and a TV/gaming area. The main floor kitchen was built for chefs with new modern appliances and fully stocked with any and every item needed to cook gourmet meals. The "farmhouse" within feet of the main structure has a large bedroom with a queen bed, a half bath and a laundry area with washer/dryer. As if anything else was needed to make your stay incredible, It includes a spacious Ping Pong room. This is the perfect place to let the kids wind down after a long day floating the river. (Note: June 2025 The stairway to the farmhouse bedroom is steep and is currently in the planning stages for reconfiguration. We do not recommend this area for use as sleeping quarters for young children or older adults)As if the home needed anything further to entertain you and your guests, the back side of the farmhouse has an extremely large sitting area with couches, a basketball court and a grill. There's even an outdoor shower with beautiful views of the sprawling property!The home sits on over 11 acres of land perfect for exploring. It includes multiple elevations, a deep dry creek and trails. Hike up the top of the hill for expansive views of Garner State Park or walk down to the dry creek bed and explore the rocks and canyons. The backyard of the main structure includes a large firepit that can seat your entire family and tons of yard games including a professional style Volleyball court everyone will enjoy. Our ancestor, Capt. William Ware, built the original one-room cabin on the property in 1852 which has been lovingly protected and preserved. The historic farmhouse where we welcome you to come stay with your family and friends was built by his son John Crane Ware in 1870 and was most recently renovated in 2023 – including newly updated bedrooms, bathrooms, A/C, kitchen appliances, laundry facilities, and a great outdoor patio for star-gazing and enjoying the breeze under Grandma Inez’s beloved pecan tree. The spring-fed Sabinal River is crystal clear and is filled with bass and catfish, and at sunset the whole riverbank comes to life with dancing fireflies. All bed linens and bathroom and river towels are provided. There’s a pool table and ample board and card games, as well as satellite television, WI-FI and an old organ in the front parlor. The kitchen was recently updated and has everything you need for entertaining, meal and picnic prep, and a bar. This is a nice small 2 bedroom cabin in Utopia. It is tucked away on County Road 355. It is just a half of a mile from main street Utopia. The Sabinal River runs though Utopia. So you can enjoy the Utopia Park Lake that has a dam with plenty of water to swim in and fish year round. Utopia is also 15 minutes from Garner state park and the Frio river. It is also just a 15 minute drive to Lost maples State park in Vanderpool. Beautiful Log Cabin with 2 bedrooms and a jack and Jill bathroom. Has newly renovated kitchen with granite countertops. Pictures don’t do it justice. Just off River Road at the Frio River but secluded enough that you don’t feel that people are on top of you. Has fire pit and barbecue pit for your enjoyment. Tube on the Frio or sit on the porch and watch the deer. Beautiful setting. The cabin is located close to the river, however there is not private access via walking. We have many great tubing companies around that can help you get access to the river and enjoy time with your family. Case Bella sleeps 18 people comfortably, and has big, vaulted ceilings in the open kitchen and living room. But who comes to Concan to stay inside the house? That's what makes Casa Bella special. Outside you have a back porch that runs the length of the house. Inside the security fence, giving access to the pool, you also get a huge pavilion that has a bar and also seating at the wonderful outdoor tables. This pavilion, unlike any other in Concan, also has an evaporative cooler that will blow cool crisp air even on the hottest of days.
