"Excellent! It's extremely close to Dali Station, making transfers incredibly convenient. The overall hygiene, quietness, and room size are all good. The tissues and other paper products provided are of high quality. The toilet and shower are separate (wet and dry areas), and the hooks in the shower room are definitely a highlight. The parking lot behind the hotel also looks very good, and the Ba族 (Bai ethnic group) friend's Baoshan beef hotpot restaurant nearby is delicious.
Has Dali gotten rich lately? The area around the station and the hotel is incredibly well-maintained. Walking along the tree-lined street next to the hotel feels like strolling through a high-end community. I hope Dali and Yunnan continue to flourish.
I arrived quite late and left quite early, so aside from taking a few photos of the beautiful, dreamy night view of Dali Station, I didn't get a chance to photograph the hotel itself. Still, a full five-star rating!"

"The room was spacious and bright: The hotel room design was very well-thought-out, making excellent use of the space. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. The room also had great natural light, giving it a warm and inviting feel.
Service: Very attentive. The staff were all very patient. They listened patiently to everything we said and tried their best to fulfill our requests promptly.
We were traveling with our child, and they even provided children's toothbrushes and amenities. The security guard went out of his way, running several times to help us find a parking spot. They really put in a lot of effort!"

"The location is incredibly convenient; it's just an 8-minute walk to Dali Old Town, so you can avoid the tourist crowds. When you're tired from exploring, it's super comfortable to come back and relax at the hotel.
The room was much larger than I expected and beautifully decorated, making for a very spacious and pleasant stay. The public areas are well-designed and highly photogenic; I took a few casual pictures and got tons of inquiries about the address when I posted them.
The amenities are quite comprehensive. The fifth-floor terrace is absolutely amazing – you can watch the sunrise in the morning and lie there gazing at the stars at night, which is incredibly relaxing. Having both a washer and dryer was fantastic; no more piling up dirty laundry after a few days of travel, which is a lifesaver for lazy people like me. Free drinks are available, and there's even a mahjong machine and a tea set. My friends and I played a couple of rounds of mahjong and chatted, which was super relaxing.
The service was also top-notch. Breakfast was delivered to our room punctually every morning, with generous portions and good taste. The restaurant and attraction recommendations from the guesthouse were spot-on; the wild mushroom hotpot was incredibly fresh, and the lesser-known spots weren't crowded at all, making for a really enjoyable time.
They even gave us a thoughtful parting gift: Yunnan tea and flower cakes. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Dali!"

"A very tastefully designed hotel with a cozy and welcoming lobby. The inner courtyard and garden deserve special mention – a beautiful, unique oasis with many plants, flowers, trees, and inviting seating areas that create a wonderful atmosphere to relax and feel at home.
Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything one could need. Everything was spotlessly clean. The service was good, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is offered via a small but well-chosen menu. Communication worked very well via WeChat using the translation function. We were especially grateful to the young staff member who helped us organize our onward journey to Shaxizhen 沙溪镇.

"I recently spent seven days at the Orange Crystal Hotel and was thoroughly impressed overall. The hotel's cleanliness was exceptional; the floors were disinfected every few days, and the rooms were meticulously cleaned. The breakfast, in particular, was the absolute highlight of the Orange Hotel. The selection was rich and diverse, with the hot dishes tasting just as good as those from a proper restaurant. And the dining environment was simply breathtaking. Located on the top floor with transparent floor-to-ceiling windows on all four sides, it made every meal an absolute pleasure. "I came with my mom, and this guesthouse is truly amazing. I even feel it's better than whole-season hotels at the same price point. The room is very cozy, and the bed is the most comfortable I've slept in among all the hotels and guesthouses in Yunnan. The owner is a warm and welcoming guy from Northeast China, born in the 80s, and he even helped us carry our luggage. When we checked in, he gave us two ID card sleeves as a gift. He also promptly resolved any issues we had. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful, full of lush greenery, and very relaxing. Plus, there are many cute little animals at the guesthouse – cats and dogs are adorable! My favorite is Niuniu, a silly little local dog, hehehe."

"I rarely leave reviews, but I have to give this Atour a great one. First off, the service attitude was excellent; every staff member was polite and courteous. The room we initially checked into had a slight odor, and they immediately switched us to another one. We even saw them airing out the original room over the next few days, showing their great problem-solving approach. When we left, they even gave us some souvenirs.
Secondly, the room was very comfortable. The bedding and pillows were fantastic, which was a huge relief since I was traveling with my elderly mother who isn't feeling well. We both slept incredibly well for two nights. We both agreed that the best part of our Dali trip was definitely the hotel.
Other aspects like the convenient location, beautiful environment, and delicious food were all amazing. I could go on and on, but honestly, you can't go wrong with this choice."

However, it was nothing of the sort – it was absolutely stunning, and the service was impeccable! My elderly companion did mention that the noise from duvets being washed at night made it difficult for her to fall asleep. Despite this, overall, we were very pleased. I had planned to visit the wetland park for the sunset, but a staff member advised there was no need, as we could enjoy the view directly from their property! They even provided a complimentary farewell gift upon our departure!

RRachFizThe hospitality here was truly wonderful. Every staff member was friendly, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating. Even though we didn’t speak Mandarin, they really tried their best to explain everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay.
The room was fantastic — cozy, well-heated, and equipped with smart home facilities, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We were also pleasantly surprised by a complimentary tie-dye activity arranged by them. It was such a fun experience and we got to bring home a cute handmade souvenir!
The location is also a huge plus — it’s within walking distance to Dali Ancient City, making it very convenient to explore the area. They even checked in on us via WeChat to make sure everything was going well, which was a very thoughtful touch. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Dali in the future. Highly recommended!

MM257049****This is my seventh time in Dali, and it's the best hotel I've stayed in out of five! First off, the room layout was exactly to my liking. I could lie in bed and watch the sunrise over Erhai Lake, and there was a sofa area, a round dining table, and a large bathtub by the floor-to-ceiling windows – definitely added to the relaxing vacation vibe! The bathroom fixtures were Kohler, and the walk-in closet and vanity area were very spacious. The curtains were automatic, and the AC and curtain controls were right by the bed, which was very convenient. The breakfast was unbeatable – braised chicken wings, braised beef brisket, honey-glazed ribs, and spiced beef. Being able to enjoy a buffet until noon was seriously impressive; I'd call it the ultimate spread. I also have to commend the daily fruit plate and goodnight dessert. Other places only offer it on the first day, but here, I stayed three days and got it every day – incredibly thoughtful. The hotel's front and back yards were also fantastic. My kids loved the slide and swings in the back, and the succulent boat was thriving. The parking lot was also spacious. The nearby ecological corridor had great photo spots, and there were lots of seagulls. When I checked out, I even received a parting gift, and there was a self-service fridge with drinks and beer. A perfect 100-point review, I'll definitely be back!

I'm very happy with the hotel, just be sure to avoid the electric scooter rental next door. Make sure you know the going rates, otherwise it's super easy to get ripped off.

MM28630****This has to be one of the most satisfying guesthouses I've ever stayed in during all my travels. It's impeccable, both in terms of soft and hard furnishings!
First, the hotel's design is incredibly tasteful. The white and natural wood aesthetic showcases quality at every turn, and all the items used reflect the owner's thoughtful attention to detail – everything is of excellent quality!
Second, the guesthouse boasts expansive common areas, from the ground-floor cafe directly overlooking Erhai Lake, to the courtyard, the restaurant, and the rooftop terrace. You could genuinely spend your entire stay just relaxing here without needing to go anywhere else!
Third, the location is superb. You step right out into a wetland park, with popular photo spots right at the entrance. If you want to catch the sunrise without venturing far, the rooftop is perfect. Alternatively, you can take a leisurely stroll to Caicun Pier, which is just over 1km away, and enjoy stunning Erhai Lake scenery along the entire path!
Fourth, the owner's service is truly exceptional – incredibly warm and meticulous. From the exquisite breakfast to the unlimited freshly ground coffee and the thoughtful evening goodnight desserts, the care is truly all-encompassing!
Compared to the bustling 'S-bend' area, Wuyun offers beautiful scenery that rivals any popular spot, yet it's much quieter. If you want to enjoy the beauty of Erhai Lake without the crowds, this would be an excellent choice!

It's an old house that's been renovated, and from my room, I could even see the rooftops of the ancient city. The butler was super attentive, helped me with my luggage, and even recommended some local eateries. The breakfast rice noodles were delicious! It's a very photogenic place, every corner is stunning! MM296785****This room is located just outside Dali Old Town, making it relatively quiet and not too noisy.
The location is also very convenient for reaching the Old Town. Since the Old Town is quite large, a short motorcycle ride will get you around.
The room is very comfortable and spacious. There are even three separate areas for sofas and coffee tables!
Furthermore, the guesthouse's cleanliness is quite good. Perhaps because it's newly renovated, even the foot-washing area was very clean.
The front desk staff were also very responsive, and communication was smooth.
If you're coming to Dali and don't want to stay in a noisy area but still want convenience, this place is a good choice, especially given the advantageous prices during the off-season.
