We had an incredible stay in Dujiangyan high up in the jungle mountains. The view was absolutely breathtaking â honestly, pictures do not do it justice at all.
Seeing it in real life was unforgettable and made the whole experience feel magical.
The room was huge, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Everything felt peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for escaping the busy city life for a while.
The hotel staff were extremely kind and welcoming throughout our entire stay. A special thank you for always helping us with transportation. Since it can sometimes be a little difficult to get a taxi in the area, they even drove us down personally whenever needed. She drove so well, it was actually really fun, and she was incredibly sweet and helpful. We truly felt comfortable, safe, and cared for the entire time.
There are also many beautiful places and spots nearby that are easy to reach and perfect for exploring.
This hotel was honestly outstanding in every way, and we can highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, nature, and a relaxing atmosphere before returning to city life.
Thank you so much to all the employees for making our stay so special.
We would come back anytime!

Guest UserI was very satisfied with my stay. There are many accommodations in Qingcheng Mountain, and I chose this one. Before check-in, a staff member called to ask if I needed the hot tub filled in advance, which was great â I could just soak right upon arrival. The private hot tub in the room also offered good privacy, with a canopy overhead. The hotel is located directly opposite Qingcheng Mountain High-speed Rail Station. Parking is also very convenient, with its own underground parking lot. There's also a playground for kids, making it quite suitable for family travel. They provided afternoon tea, which included cold brew tea, fruit, and pastries. This place is pet-friendly, allowing dogs, which is perfect for those traveling with their furry friends. The breakfast was light but quite delicious. The front desk was responsive. It's definitely worth staying here; I plan to bring my kids next time for a cool escape. There's also a 24-hour FamilyMart right at the entrance, making it very convenient for buying things.

Guest UserThe Shanaaoao Inn is located within the back mountain scenic area of Mount Qingcheng. We stayed for 2 nights with our child, and everything went smoothly from booking to check-out. The inn, which opened in August 2025, is very new with tasteful decor and high-end bathroom facilities. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought into this place. The inn boasts pleasant scenery, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct mountain views. They also have adorable kittens, and the first thing our child did after waking up was look for them. The staff at the inn were all fantastic, and they even provide a shuttle service to the ancient town. A special shout-out to the inn's manager, a young man who is diligent, efficient, makes great coffee, cooks delicious food, and interacts wonderfully with children â truly an all-rounder! We had an early flight, and he went out of his way to prepare breakfast for us before his shift started. This excellent and charming manager was an unexpected delight during our stay and left us with truly wonderful memories.

As a solo traveler visiting Dujiangyan for the first time without any knowledge of Chinese, I found that the Atour Hotel provided excellent service. The staff were very helpful, and we were able to communicate easily using translation apps. My room was huge, offering a beautiful view of the city at night, and it was cleaned, tidied, and restocked with amenities every day. The breakfast featured both Western and Chinese options, though it was predominantly Chinese; since I do not usually eat much early in the morning, I opted for bread and fruit. The hotel is located at the rear of the mall, and while taxis will drop you exactly at the side of the building, you should look carefully for the hotel sign as there are others right next to it. Although I chose to use taxis to save time rather than looking up the nearest bus or subway stations, the hotelâs central location suggests that public transport is likely nearby. Dujiangyan irrigation scenic area is just 5-7 mins and Mt. Qingcheng scenic area gate is about 25 mins from the hotel when using taxi/ DiDi. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and found the facilities to be quite good.

This place was exactly like the photos â super nice with amazing service. The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the Qingcheng Mountain entrance and the Qingcheng Railway Station. If youâre planning to hike up Qingcheng Mountain, I totally recommend staying here.
1.The room was super spacious and looked just like the pictures. Everything felt fresh, clean, and super comfy.
2.The bed was really soft, and all the amenities were modern and well thought out.
3.The staff were friendly, helpful, and just really lovely overall.
4.Great location â close to Qingcheng Station and the mountain.
5.Breakfast is included, but sadly we woke up too late to try ŕšit. Next time for sure! We did have lunch there though, and it was delicious.
6.Honestly, everything was great. Totally worth every penny.

Facilities: The hotel and room facilities are quite old, and the walls are severely waterlogged due to years of rain.
Cleanliness: The hotel is mediocre, with some mosquitoes and insects hanging around corners, and the bedding has a damp smell.
Environment: Sitting on the balcony or in the lobby bar, you can see the lush mountains in the distance. The air is especially fresh after the rain, and the mist is shrouded in clouds, creating a very picturesque atmosphere.
Service: The hotel staff will do their best to provide services upon request, so it's generally acceptable.

After a trip to Sunac, I took my son to Qingcheng Mountain. This B&B is very close to the ancient town and the Wulonggou trailhead. I was very satisfied with the overall environment, the scenery, and the stable water temperature in the room, which is very important for families with children. My son loved the steak for breakfast. After breakfast, we checked out and went hiking. At noon, I asked him what he wanted, and he said he wanted steak. There's also a French bulldog in the house, which really won him over. The owner and the family are very good. I will stay here again next time I'm in Qingcheng Mountain.

meestermodaoWent during a low season. The hotel was virtually empty except for us, but the staff remained professional.
The rooms were a slight letdown on a few points - BUT overall it was extremely enjoyable and downright luxurious in other areas. Overall, a definite recommend. We had a great stay and a great time.
Amazing - it's a working tea farm. We woke early to pluck tea leaves for the experience (free but worth 68 yuan) and if you collect enough you can take it to the tea master to then experience frying the tea in a wok to turn the fresh leaves into dry green tea.
The tea sachets in the rooms are made by the hotel themselves and taste great.
More free experiences are included with the stay, including tea brewing classes and wearing hanfu. I thought it to be incredibly value for money.
The private onsen is great and came with a homemade herbal pouch to throw in for a medicinal bath.
The rooms are spacious with an excellent view - and I MUST commend the incredible number of light switches which let you have any combination of light ambience.
Minor letdowns - mosquitoes will come to you at the alfresco area during mealtimes, I would sit indoors next time.
We also had to run the shower for a long while before hot water could come out.
The charging sockets are a little iffy with lots of dust in the sockets and some outlets might not be working depending on your luck. The standard sockets mostly work but USB sockets might not.
The smart W/C is also slightly malfunctioning but largely works as intended.

I liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad.
I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didnât scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either).
As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didnât prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office.
A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain).
On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan.
Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didnât find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.
