A must stay if you are in the area. Incredibly peaceful scenery with every modern amenity. It is possible, simultaneously, to feel completely secluded in nature, and in bliss at a five star resort.
All of the staff were absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly. The room was spotless, beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. The private hot spring bath and pool with the view are priceless.
Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat from the business of most cities.

Guest UserA hidden gem of a guesthouse in Qingcheng Mountain, my friends and I give it a direct five-star rating!
🏡 Amazing Environment: Tucked away in a mountain hollow surrounded by lush greenery, this Chinese Zen-inspired courtyard offers beautiful views at every turn. Moss-covered stone paths, ancient trees, and Zen-like lanterns create a serene atmosphere. Step outside, and you're greeted by the green embrace of the forest. Wake up to misty clouds and enjoy the tranquility of the night. It's incredibly healing to breathe in the fresh air, and every photo you take here turns out to be a stunning, atmospheric shot. On the second-floor terrace, you can gaze at the mountains and unwind, feeling the mountain breeze as you admire the flowers – truly a complete vacation vibe.
🐱 Adorable Pets: The two fluffy long-haired cats in the courtyard are absolutely adorable! They'll snuggle up to you for affection. Petting cats while looking at the mountains is pure bliss for any cat lover!
🍴 Delicious Food: The breakfast is exquisite and heartwarming, with freshly made porridge, steamed dim sum, and side dishes that are both nutritious and delicious. The afternoon tea, featuring fruit tea and fresh fruit snacks, is perfect for enjoying by the pool. The freshly ground coffee is rich and aromatic, comparable to a professional coffee shop. The owner highly recommended the wood-fired chicken, which is authentically flavorful – a local secret!
💁♀️ Excellent Service: The owner is warm and attentive, offering free shuttle service to and from the ancient town, making travel super convenient. They are responsive to all your needs throughout your stay, with great attention to detail.
This is the ideal mountain retreat to escape the city. Go for it, you won't regret it! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Qingcheng Mountain!

I visited on June 30th, and the weather was great. Being on a mountain, it's normal for it to be sunny one moment and cloudy the next. I'd recommend checking the weather forecast before heading out, though it might not always be accurate.
This place is excellent in all aspects. They have a pool and hot springs, and both the breakfast and their own dinner were delicious. The plums were also very tasty.
Now, for a few areas that could be improved. Since I stayed in a ground-floor room, it was quite damp. The dehumidifier in the room was too loud. For mosquitoes, I definitely recommend bringing mosquito repellent. The air conditioning vent was also quite noisy. I suggest adding a full-length mirror to the rooms. The wall and ground lights in the courtyard should be turned on after dark, otherwise, it's easy to bump into things.
Aside from that, the cleanliness and service were excellent. Parking is very convenient, and there are even charging stations available.
The pool water was a bit cool but very refreshing.
There are quite a few winding mountain roads, so I'd advise new drivers not to drive themselves.
It's very pet-friendly, both the staff and the other guests were welcoming to pets.

Stayed for two nights. The hotel's location is not far from the front mountain of Mount Qingcheng, and about a 20-minute drive from the Qingcheng Mountain Golf Course, making it quite convenient. This area is essentially a small town with many guesthouses, but this hotel feels like the best one around. Plus, the rooms even have private hot springs! After hiking all day, coming back for a soak in the evening is so relaxing 😪. There's a night market street right in front of the hotel, perfect for an evening stroll and buying some fruit. Also, the hotel's food is so much better than the restaurants outside. On our first day, we went to a seemingly popular restaurant outside and the food was awful. For the rest of our meals, we ate at the hotel. It was clean, hygienic, and most importantly, the taste was fantastic. The chef clearly puts a lot of effort into the cooking, highly recommend! 👍

Guest UserThe hotel environment is fantastic, enjoyed by both adults and children. There's a picturesque green mountain right next to the front desk, perfect for photos, especially with the complimentary Hanfu. After checking in, you can send the kids off to the 'Joyful Garden.' The facilities are modern, and the classical style perfectly suits the ambiance of Qingcheng Mountain. The breakfast is extensive, and the staff provide excellent service. It's also very convenient to catch the shuttle bus just a short distance from the entrance.

As a solo traveler visiting Dujiangyan for the first time without any knowledge of Chinese, I found that the Atour Hotel provided excellent service. The staff were very helpful, and we were able to communicate easily using translation apps. My room was huge, offering a beautiful view of the city at night, and it was cleaned, tidied, and restocked with amenities every day. The breakfast featured both Western and Chinese options, though it was predominantly Chinese; since I do not usually eat much early in the morning, I opted for bread and fruit. The hotel is located at the rear of the mall, and while taxis will drop you exactly at the side of the building, you should look carefully for the hotel sign as there are others right next to it. Although I chose to use taxis to save time rather than looking up the nearest bus or subway stations, the hotel’s central location suggests that public transport is likely nearby. Dujiangyan irrigation scenic area is just 5-7 mins and Mt. Qingcheng scenic area gate is about 25 mins from the hotel when using taxi/ DiDi. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and found the facilities to be quite good.

Pros: 1. The owner is generous and outgoing, and the front desk staff is very attentive.
2. The room is spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are very comfortable, offering a great view. Sipping tea by the window and gazing at the scenery of Mount Qingcheng is truly relaxing. It's very close to Tai'an Ancient Town and the entrance to Mount Qingcheng, making it convenient for swimming and shopping.
3. Whether it's breakfast appetizers and soy milk, à la carte meals, or the late-night barbecue, the ingredients are all fresh and delicious.
Cons:
1. The showerhead in the bathroom isn't particularly useful, and the water temperature adjustment isn't user-friendly, but it's manageable.
2. Cleanliness could be improved. There are hair spots on the carpet, perhaps from unattended cleaning.
3. Even with the window open, the air in the room isn't fresh enough, and my baby and I both have some rhinitis.

This place was exactly like the photos – super nice with amazing service. The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the Qingcheng Mountain entrance and the Qingcheng Railway Station. If you’re planning to hike up Qingcheng Mountain, I totally recommend staying here.
1.The room was super spacious and looked just like the pictures. Everything felt fresh, clean, and super comfy.
2.The bed was really soft, and all the amenities were modern and well thought out.
3.The staff were friendly, helpful, and just really lovely overall.
4.Great location – close to Qingcheng Station and the mountain.
5.Breakfast is included, but sadly we woke up too late to try ๆit. Next time for sure! We did have lunch there though, and it was delicious.
6.Honestly, everything was great. Totally worth every penny.

I liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad.
I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either).
As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office.
A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain).
On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan.
Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.

Went during a low season. The hotel was virtually empty except for us, but the staff remained professional.
The rooms were a slight letdown on a few points - BUT overall it was extremely enjoyable and downright luxurious in other areas. Overall, a definite recommend. We had a great stay and a great time.
Amazing - it's a working tea farm. We woke early to pluck tea leaves for the experience (free but worth 68 yuan) and if you collect enough you can take it to the tea master to then experience frying the tea in a wok to turn the fresh leaves into dry green tea.
The tea sachets in the rooms are made by the hotel themselves and taste great.
More free experiences are included with the stay, including tea brewing classes and wearing hanfu. I thought it to be incredibly value for money.
The private onsen is great and came with a homemade herbal pouch to throw in for a medicinal bath.
The rooms are spacious with an excellent view - and I MUST commend the incredible number of light switches which let you have any combination of light ambience.
Minor letdowns - mosquitoes will come to you at the alfresco area during mealtimes, I would sit indoors next time.
We also had to run the shower for a long while before hot water could come out.
The charging sockets are a little iffy with lots of dust in the sockets and some outlets might not be working depending on your luck. The standard sockets mostly work but USB sockets might not.
The smart W/C is also slightly malfunctioning but largely works as intended.
