The front desk staff were warm and attentive, efficiently handling my check-in and even proactively recommending local sightseeing routes. The buffet restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with a rich variety of breakfast options including pastries, hot dishes, and authentic local delicacies from Southeast Guizhou like Sour Soup Noodles. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center. There's free parking for those driving, and it's very convenient for visiting attractions like Xijiang and Xiashi. The guest rooms are clean, quiet, and well-equipped. As a hotel under the Culture and Tourism brand, the quality is reliable, making for a worry-free and comfortable trip. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Kaili!"

"I had originally booked a guesthouse that was highly rated and quite expensive. The host even added me on WeChat, but I just felt like the service wasn't great – their formal, official tone was annoying. So, I canceled that booking last minute and decided on this place instead. The hotel's location is fantastic; I could lie in bed and see the entire Miao village, offering expansive, healing views everywhere. Every photo I took turned out beautifully. What impressed me most was the incredibly thoughtful and personalized service. I didn't have to worry about my luggage at all; from check-in to check-out, they proactively helped carry it and even took it directly to the shuttle, completely saving me the fatigue of lugging heavy bags around. I even changed into a Miao costume and got a bit lost on the way back, but a staff member immediately came to pick me up. The staff were all so gentle and attentive, patiently responding to every request, big or small. The attention to detail really showed how much they cared, making the whole experience relaxing and comfortable. It truly made traveling and sightseeing effortless and worry-free. If you're coming here for a vacation, you absolutely won't be disappointed. I've already recommended it to several friends – booking this place is a surefire win! They prepared afternoon tea, offered a sweet goodnight soup in the evening, and the breakfast was equally exquisite. There was absolutely no sense of cutting corners; I was genuinely touched by their sincerity. I really love this hotel. In the future, if I ever see this hotel's name while traveling, I will definitely book it again. I hope the owner's business flourishes and they open more branches. I also want to thank the staff who helped me with my luggage; the weather was really hot, and picking up and dropping off people in this area must be very tiring. The room area is not small at all, and the suitcase will not be in the way when it is spread out; the facilities and equipment are complete, and the bathrobe is praised; the hygiene is clean and refreshing. The only drawback is that the rooms facing west to the road are not very soundproof. If you need quietness, you can choose a room facing east."

Even during a heavy rainstorm, my sleep wasn't disturbed at all; the room was soundproof, quiet, and comfortable. After searching online, I found this place which claimed to be right by the road with no uphill climbing. True to their word, the sightseeing bus drops you off directly at the entrance. The hostess was already waiting by the road, and she kindly helped us with our luggage. The guesthouse even has an elevator, making it completely hassle-free for seniors. We were also treated to complimentary afternoon tea and a refreshing mung bean soup in the evening. Our panorama room offered stunning views of the entire Miao village lit up at night – no need to jostle for space at the viewing platform, we could enjoy the spectacular night scenery right from our room."

It's right next to the west gate of the scenic area, so you don't have to drag your luggage up long staircases, making it super convenient for getting around. The housekeeper provides pick-up and drop-off services and patiently explains tips for dining, drinking, and sightseeing. It boasts a huge private viewing terrace where you can wake up to a sea of clouds covering the mountains and watch the twinkling lights spread out in the evening. You can capture stunning photos without having to jostle for a spot at popular photo ops, and the owner even offers photography advice. "The hotel is located just outside the West Gate of the Miao Village. They offer a dedicated shuttle service, but during peak season, traffic can be heavy, making the 5-minute walk to the West Gate a more convenient option. Please note that from the West Gate, you'll need to walk through about 200 meters of commercial pedestrian street to reach the ticket office, so those who mind walking should consider this. The hotel's decor is a bit dated, but judging by its early design, it seems to have aimed for a 4-5 star standard. In the humid Guiyang rainy season, the commercial-grade washer-dryer in the lobby is especially practical. The lobby also offers Miao village-style photo shoots, so you don't need to look for one once inside the scenic area. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, and it's quite accommodating as you can still eat if you arrive a little late. The cleanliness and service were excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. On a lucky rainy season morning, you might even catch a breathtaking sea of clouds. For those who prefer to avoid the noisy atmosphere of guesthouses within the village, this hotel outside the scenic area is an excellent choice."
