"As a local, this was my first time staying at this hotel, and I was truly impressed! It's newly renovated, and the rooms are incredibly clean and tidy. The decor is stylish and sophisticated, easily outshining other hotels in the city. I bought a 38 RMB breakfast deal, and it was fantastic – so many local specialties, and even fresh squeezed juice, which you rarely see. The coffee was absolutely delicious, a real highlight! The service staff were very friendly, and the aunties in the lobby were also very polite. If you're coming to Qionghai and want a great place to stay, don't hesitate – it's really worth it!"

"Great location with walking distance to streets with famous Hainan Grain (Za Liang) desserts and shops, good services and very clean and comfy rooms. Room comes with books about Qiong Hai, and also tea set if you would like to brew your own Chinese Tea. It has great selection of breakfast buffet. The milk tea is silky and delicious. Shared laundry and you can request for help from staff to help out if they are available. I wished this hotel comes with own laundry so I don't need to wait in line. Highly recommended to families."

"Alice at the front desk was incredibly warm and efficient. The hotel was very clean, breakfast offered a great variety, and the facilities were excellent. On the day of my check-in, I received a complimentary upgrade to a larger bed. They also have a laundry room. The room layout was well-thought-out, and the bedding was spotless. "So far on my trip to Hainan, I've stayed in four different hotels, ranging from budget-friendly to luxury five-star. My stay at Atour has been the most satisfying. Atour just opened less than two months ago, so everything is brand new, yet there's no hint of a renovation smell. The room's amenities and facilities are incredibly convenient and user-friendly, and the service attitude is wonderfully comforting and satisfying. It really feels like Atour's management genuinely understands customer needs and strives to provide service that meets, or even exceeds, expectations. If I had to suggest an improvement, I'd recommend upgrading the toilet seats from the current semi-automatic heating and flushing models to fully automatic smart toilet seats that offer washing and cleaning functions. Quality brands like Panasonic offer these for under a thousand yuan. Smart toilet seats are quite common in many Chinese households now and are a significant consideration for many guests when traveling. Replacing them with fully smart models would be a major upgrade and a key factor for many potential guests."

"A very pleasant surprise! I booked this hotel primarily for its location, as its rating wasn't particularly high. I was a bit apprehensive during check-in, as the exterior looked a little run-down. However, the room was actually clean and quiet. The breakfast wasn't lavish but was fresh and well-kept. The commercial-grade washer and dryer were also very efficient. Overall, I was very satisfied."

"Hygiene: Not great. The coffee table and fridge weren't cleaned properly. The curtains were even dirtier. Facilities: The facilities are quite old. It wasn't renovated in 2023, but rather opened in 2023. There were mosquitoes. The mosquito repellent plug-in was by the bed, which was suffocating. Plugging it into the bathroom didn't work. I got three big mosquito bites. Environment: Close to the beach, which is nice. There's a small garden gate with direct access to the beach. However, it's quite far from the county town (I don't know what it's called), so it's inconvenient for shopping and dining. I don't recommend the location. Service: Service was good. They offered small gifts to appease guests and smooth over any dissatisfaction with the environment."

"The room was spacious, and it wasn't crowded during the Qingming Festival, so we got an upgrade to a high-floor sea-view room. The view from building A was decent, though a bit obstructed by the building in front. I reckon you could see the sunrise on a clear day. On the downside, there was a small bug on the floor, and the TV remote wasn't working. We had to call staff to fix both issues, which was a bit inconvenient. The desk wasn't wiped clean either; my child wanted to do some homework on it, but it was covered in dust. On the positive side, the price was reasonable, the staff were friendly and efficient in resolving issues, and their attitude was great. There's an outdoor pool, and the location is convenient. You can easily get to the main attractions by renting a small electric scooter. The food options nearby aren't great. We ended up eating糟粕粉饭 (zāopòfěn fàn) at the hotel restaurant, but the shrimp and shellfish weren't fresh."

"This trip compared several, and finally selected Qionghai Baolian City Hotel. The whole stay experience far exceeded my expectations. It is very suitable for people who want to take a slow-paced vacation and don't want to catch the trip. The whole hotel is a large garden-style resort area. The park is well planned, the vegetation is rich, the trees are shaded, the roads are clean and tidy, and the scenery is everywhere when strolling in the park. People will not be very noisy, there is no noise, and the atmosphere is particularly relaxed. You can walk to the beach, go to the beach in the evening, blow the sea breeze in the South China Sea, watch the sunset on the sea, and the atmosphere is directly full. The overall space of the sea view room type is very sufficient, the overall maintenance of the room is good, the lighting is very good, and the house is bright during the day. Health is done more carefully, the ground, bathroom, tabletop are cleaned up, the bedding is dry and soft, and there is no discomfort to live. I like the balcony of the room the most. I can face the sea view directly from the balcony. I have nothing to do. I have to move a chair and sit in a daze. I watch the ebb and flow of the tide, blow the sea breeze, drink tea and chat. The feeling of vacation is coming at once. The hotel staff are very friendly, the check-in and check-out process is smooth, there is a problem to find the front desk or the housekeeper, and the feedback processing speed is also OK. The park is fully furnished, and it is convenient to eat, live and travel daily, and you don't have to run far. Whether it is family travel, friends, or a person to relax and live alone, it is suitable. The overall living comfort is very high, the rest is very good, and there is a little reluctance when leaving. If you come to Qionghai Boao for a trip later, Baolian City will be my first choice for accommodation, and I really recommend it to friends who are pursuing a quiet holiday and want to see the sea view."
